The phone is perfect with perfect designs I think it is better than the Nokia N95 but N86 looks like N96 I love this phone especially when you can put sat nav on it the features are brilliant phone for 1 month already nothing has gone wrong with it, it is better than my digital camera for the camera, my camera size is 6 megapixel but N86 8 megapixel.

Only had this phone for a few week but it is easily the best phone I have ever owned. Have had no issues at all with it & would highly recommend it. The one feature that sold it for me was the built in FM transmitter which works a treat as it allows you to input the frequency rather than having preset ones. Also the fact it doesn't have touch screen was a selling point for me as I can't seem to ever press the right part of the screen.
Camera is fantastic & the panoramic mode is a very good feature with it.
- Sound quality is excellent (for a phone.
- Build quality is very sturdy & is a nice weight.
- Battery life has been very good so far & the low battery warning gives you time to either charge it or close some apps to conserve the remaining power.
- I have not yet had any freezing issues when using the web & I have used it a lot since I got it.
Overall as a non touch screen phone I would say this is the best on the market just now after doing some extensive research before choosing.

Got this phone on a second contract & had for just over 6 weeks, first thing I did (which you always do) is checked for a software (firmware) upgrade from Nokia, to do this go to the Nokia website & go to Support then download the Nokia Update Software, there is currently updates available which cure most of the initial problems. Anyway the phone itself is of top quality build, excellent signal strength & loads of features to explore, the camera is excellent & printed photos of up to 12' x 8' are excellent quality, the built in stereo speakers offer good quality playback & the screen is crystal clear, I cannot fault it, but you must CHECK FOR FIRMWARE UPGRADES they are available & sometimes as many as three a year.

Design is not very pleasing, but the camera obviously being an 8MP camera phone, is excellent, Internet works well but slow at times which is a real let down, games work fine. Audio is good.
GPS is very fast, & seems reliable, although we are warned not to depend on it, but it seems reliable. I recommend this if you want a sleek, handy phone, with good quality camera, & clever GPS.
- Internet pages often freeze
- GPS very fast, & reliable, no matter where you are
- Excellent camera.
- Design not to pretty, but sleek & scratch resistant.

My last phone was a Sony Ericsson P900 so is a little dated in comparison.
The N86 lacks one thing, a touch screen.
Only had it 24 hours, but I have to say its excellent so far, not frozen up as some people say (it has been used for about 15 of those hours too) the sat nav is great, as is the 8MP 20 x zoom flash camera. Not used the video camera yet.
The web browsing is also good, build quality & durability, time will tell on this but feels solid enough.
Screen clarity is excellent, there are many many features on this phone, even the Internet radio function is good. Music downloads is slow but I guess that's usual for a phone (not had a Web phone before).
When I stop continuously playing with it I will be able to advise the battery life in real world use.
All in all an excellent phone, camera, MP3 player, sat nav, gaming package in a small unit, I am not saying it's the best phone out there but it certainly must be one of them.

Nokia N86 8MP is one of flagship device from the company. I am so pleased with this phone. The 8MP Camera is awesome. Internet browsing is good. Only drawback of the phones is its processor & RAM (only 434 MHz, 128 MB). THANKS FOR READING.

I was waiting for an eternity to buy this phone, so happened to be the first person to grab it off the shelf.
What I love the most about this phone is the 8 MP camera! The pixels come out amazing! The motion blur is nonexistent even if you shoot from the window of a vehicle going at a speed of 60 to 80 km per hr (I personally tried this out). The video quality is quite convincing for a phone camera.
The design, in black is elegant & understated. The red & green call & cancel buttons look quite funky on the outer body. Sliding is smooth.
The dual speakers are placed on the right side. Thank goodness for this. Now you can hear it ringing, no matter if the phone is face up or face down or even when it is inside its sleeve) the ring tone is loud enough & the its plays the songs clear enough for me.
The 8GB built in phone memory with an additional capacity of expansion (of up to 16GB, according to the shop assistant) through the external memory card is more than satisfactory for now.
The OLED screen is brilliant & crystal clear.
The functionality of this device is enhanced by an array of easy to use operations very effectively represented by the easy to spot logos which when you click lead to applications ranging from notepad, sound recorder to clock, calculator, converter, etc. You even have some sort of a MS office lookalike in there.
N86 is an Internet savvy device & one can experience all the pleasures of browsing, chatting, email & you even have Google maps!
I could go on forever about the GPRS & about MMS & Video call feature & about this & that. But I got to stop.
This phone represents most things I need to take with me when I leave my home.
BEST PHONE EVER!

Fantastic phone, camera is amazing & the Internet functions are so much improved.
Email accounts have been set up so much easier & I am getting to view attachments. This is definitely the best Nokia handset I have ever had.
Loving the OVI store too.

Brilliant phone again from Nokia.
Easy to use with excellent functions.
Only downside would possibly be the design. Upgrading from a N95 so didn't feel like a proper change but worth it still for this phone does have better features so all in all PERFECT! :D.

This is one of the best phones from Nokia. But I still wonder why Nokia hasn't done anything about the designs of their products. Why remove the navi wheel? Why not give us this phone in black? Why no xenon? Why not 2.8 inches? They should try & include spare casings, modify the interface of their new phones so that it won't be as if one is buying the same phone all over again at a higher price. HD recording shouldn't be left out. But as I said earlier, this is one of the best phones from Nokia.
