Hi everyone interested in the Nokia E66. I got this phone for my wife three weeks ago.
My view is as follows.
The Basic.
- Easy to hold, slider is one of the best I have seen, great interface, almost all functions that one needs, no issues about call quality, easy to SMS.
The Troublesome.
- A fingerprint magnet, have not figured how to lock keyboard (one can by shutting slider), small memory, OK camera.
The Horrible.
- the BATTERY. My god with no music played, no surfing, no games & only a few calls/SMS's, dead within 2 days! I mean within three weeks that I have had it I have charged it 12 times. The phone is heavy & slippery
Conclusion.
- Overall a great phone. Most recommended but with a much better battery.

Nokia is good phone manufacturer. All products has similar shortcut key, that is good for me need not read again user menu.
E66 is a bit too heavy, if less 100g would be much better.
Features are look more with new software installed.
Compare my Nokia 6125, it missed a go to key, I like that.
After surfing, memory gets full very fast. It will better if there is clear cache will better.
Overall, it is a good mobile phone in market I can see.

This is a great phone, recently tried & failed at the Sony Ericsson C702 & got this phone instead. Lots of features on it that I don't know if I'll ever use but all seem very good if you are likely to need them.
Camera is good quality although, auto flash results in startled looking children in pictures! Thought I'd successfully switched it off but it still flashed this morning, may be my incompetence though?
Texting slightly long winded insert contact, select contact, OK contact, send but I can live with it, can do multi send with this facility too.
All round streets ahead of C702 for me :-).

Best phone ever.

It looks & feels really good, solid, metal back panel is great. Ergonomics is a huge step forward if you compare with ufo buttons on the N82 or N78. Also it is full of functions, but only 9.3fp1 versus 9.3fp2 in 6220 or N78.
SAR value of 1.37, which is the only bad thing I can tell about E66.
