Its really great phone. Before we search for any negative points we need to consider its price too, so I would say its very nice & great device. In general anyone will be happy & satisfied to use this device. Love it.

Great Phone, Having Used the Original Nokia E61, I decided to Upgrade to E61i, Good Improvement from the original, Feels More Solid & Robust, Software is Much improved, Its got a Camera Now which the Original Didn't Have, though its Only a Standard 2.0 Mega Pixel Camera. The QWERTY Keyboard is More Responsive, Battery Life is Great, Ideal for Long Journeys without Recharging.
Overall A Great Mobile from Nokia.

Had this Phone few Months Now, hasn't Let me Down Once, & doesn't Have the Common Software Problems Like other Nokia Symbian Phones, Great Battery Life, & Wi-Fi is Superb, Fast Web Browsing for a Mobile, However I Use Opera Mini Web (Much Faster) Browser instead of the Standard Version on the Mobile. It's Got the Lot Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, infra-red, USB, & Also a Camera which the previous Model (Nokia E61) Didn't Have. The Screen is Large & Bright, Build Quality is Good, Solid Performer & True Business Phone.

I've had this phone on a Vodafone contract for 18 months, & by far is the best handset Nokia have ever built. The features are excellent, & though aimed at professionals, can be adapted for social use. Has everything, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, infra-red, USB, the lot.
I would recommend the phone to anyone.

Given as a present from my son to replace RAZR V3i which I dropped (twice).
Although not mobile literate I found it so easy to use. But I have still numerous options to get used to yet, but can't wait to get to grips with them. Only downside is very poor follow up from Nokia Customer Services. Just found a superb carrying case for its cast iron protection (so necessary). I bought two Nokia Leather cases which despite their cost (£20 each) were useless.

Absolutely a good phone. Would be great if there is GPS, FM, cut, copy, paste & inbuilt onscreen translation engine.

This is a cracking phone I will give them that! Everything about it, it does well. A tad slow if anything. I have had it for about 4 months now & in a way I wish I hadn't because I have dropped it a fair few times & it does not take well to that, & now it does not get signal. You have to switch it on & off ever morning, otherwise it will not get signal. There a few bits that need improving but otherwise it is brilliant. I will not be getting another though for the fact it can not stay on for a few days without dying & it is unable to handle every day wear & tear!

I have tried them all! As an IT consultant we have many phones that we link up to corp servers! This is by far & away the easiest phone to use the easiest email system (Mail for Exchange) & is by FAR the most robust. All the Microsoft phones have to be rebooted as often as they crash! This just keeps working. Keep up the good work Nokia! It also looks fantastic!

Actually the design of this phone is awesome especially for those who want full QWERTY type keyboard. However the build quality is also outstanding. It looks great with its mocha colour & steel made combination. It should have a FM radio though. Even its feature is almost N-Series. Imagine a phone with all business & multimedia capabilities with QWERTY. Its processor power is less. But if you consider its battery life then it can be tolerable. As a whole this is an awesome must have phone.

I like it very much, using a Nokia 6820 before I had to get a phone with qwerty keypad, but the sensor for the GPS to work is very expensive & then Nokia charge also again for the mapping software.
But everything else is good, email even better than on my PC shortcuts works great how do I get mpegs to work on my phone? Again I think it's the best phone there is.

I purchased My E61i in June 2007 after long waiting period. Still I can't find an alternative to this marvellous E61i. Thanks to Nokia. Other office phones like blackberry's might have some features & but they can't beat E61i, s stunning bright 16mn colour screen. GPRS is excellent.

To Andy Hotchin from Wellingborough, UK. Can cut, copy & Paste. Use the qwerty keypad. Ctrl+x equals Cut. Ctrl+c equals copy. Ctrl+v equals Paste.
I've been using this phone for about one month, no problems at all. Simply SUPERB.

Honestly this smart phone is superb & you must know that besides all its gizmos I water tested it in a toilet ( not intentionally of course) & it did survived no problem! I was amazed even more! So I have put this phone to the test big time & I've got to tell you. That is just the greatest invention. Even the iPhone gets way behind it.

Having tried several Nokia 6110 Navigator's (total junk! ), a Palm Treo 500 & a Blackberry 8310, I have to say what a superb phone the E61i is. If only I had got one in the first place, it would have saved me a lot of grief!
A great phone, very pleased indeed. Anyone thinking of getting one of these, don't think twice, it is fantastic!
Reviewer: Andrew Parker - Havant, UK

Have been using the phone for about 6 months. There is only one thing missing, a Touch Screen. Using the QWERTY layout is easy & far better than multi tapping.
Reviewer: Andy Hotchin - Wellingborough, UK

After 2weeks use, would like to balance other very good reviews with these problems I have found.
- No FM radio
- Auto keypad lock is a downloadable extra which has to be paid for after 14 days!
- Can't cut, copy, paste in many apps including contacts, very annoying.
- Editing spreadsheet is almost impossible, formats of cells are lost, different from PC versions.
- Files like word & excel docs are not synced automatically, labour intensive job manually copying them, possible easy mistake overwriting.
I wanted a phone especially so I could update files as 4 & 5 above. Disappointed that local Vodafone shop miss sold me on this feature. Obviously they have never tried it.

This is by far the best phone I have ever had, only downside is its quite wide but I can live with that & the keyboard is great.
The Wi-Fi is excellent, I have 2 Voip providers setup & the quality is fantastic. I also have blackberry connect installed to connect to my company email & that works perfectly also.
Camera is good even though it's only 2MP, & battery life is excellent.
Great phone, only thing missing is an inbuilt GPS, but it works great with my Bluetooth one anyway. I should say that this phone is not bad, with such interesting design. But the bad point is, it had to be fully open before you can answer the phone, especially quite unfriendly when you only have one hand to answer the call. Overall, I like it because I prefer non-camera phones. Cheers!

The phone is great, stylish design but is damaged easily I wish it had a back like the E65, I use all its features email, wi-fi, Bluetooth, but you must carry a head set almost all the time as it's not that handy, while driving for example.

Well I have always had Nokia phones from the start. My last phone was the Nokia 6680 with Tom Tom installed (screen too small) now I own a Nokia E61i, BIG Screen. I am not having any problems with it apart from it's a big phone but it good for business & a navigating tool.
As I know what Nokia make, it's the world biggest & top selling mobile phone company. At the moment I have set my eyes on the Nokia N95.

I bought this Phone a week ago in Mexico City & I love it! It's a great Smartphone with a lot of applications: Quickoffice, Adobe PDF, Zip, Messenger, Podcasting, WidSets, WorldMate, etc. By the way, the screen it's awesome, the keyboard isn't qwerty, & the sound is loud enough. The Camera is OK, but the Wi-Fi it's superb. If you have the chance, just buy it!

Touch screen would be good. Ladies can't have long thumb nails to use this! Sweaty faces & cheeks smear all over the screen if not got ear piece handy at time of call.
Video zooming in & out has lagging. Otherwise an excellent Smartphone.

I've been using this phone now for several months & it is without doubt the best mobile phone PDA I have owned. It does take a little getting used to, especially the size but the fact that there is a full qwerty keyboard more than makes up for this. Writing, sending emails & down loading attachments is a piece of cake & if you put a 2GB memory card in you can hold your whole life on this machine.

Nokia e61i is a fantastic solution device for office & personal use. Features are good enough but if Nokia people would have provided touchscreen facility it would have been the best in qwerty series, but OK the price is little high & performance is good so far.
