Nokia 7510 Supernova Review

The 7510 Supernova is a flip opening mobile phone which is a member of the Nokia Supernova series. The Nokia Supernova series provides its user with fashionable & eye catching handsets with easy to use everyday features as well as entertainment functions. The Supernova range includes other handsets which include the Nokia 7210 Supernova, Nokia 7310 Supernova & the Nokia 7610 Supernova. The Nokia 7510 Supernova is available in four colour options which include brown, green, red & blue. The casing of this stylish flip phone is highly attractive as it comes with a shining light display cover & the user can change the handsets skins to suit their style. The 7510 Supernova comes with two Xpress On™ covers included in start up pack which allows the user to express their personal taste from the start. The external appearance of the handset is stunning with its hidden monochrome TFT screen which displays a subtle light display. The user can open the flip action system by releasing the push to open side key which allows the user to access the keypad & view the internal screen. The internal screen is a QVGA screen with a 128 pixel by 160 pixel screen resolution on a 2.2 Inch high colour screen.

The casing is compact & easy to carry which has a solid weight which gives the handsets a quality feel. The Nokia 7510 Supernova is 16.7mm deep, 46.4mm wide by 92.5mm tall & weighs a total of 124 grams including the fitted rechargeable battery. The mobile phone comes with twenty seven megabytes of internal memory which allows the user to store their data on their phones memory or on the external memory. The handset comes with a five hundred & twelve megabytes MicroSD™ memory card & the user can expand the memory further by adding a memory card up to four gigabytes in size depending on the user's storage requirements. The Nokia 7510 Supernova has easy to use messaging features which allow the user to communicate with other compatible users by sending message to suit the users messaging needs. A text message can contain text & symbols which can be sent to any SMS compatible contact. An audio message can contain sound including a voice recording & sent to any audio messaging compatible user. The user can send & receive emails on their mobile phone which can be shared between contacts with an email account. A multimedia message service which is also known as picture messaging can contain a picture or video clip complete with sound & text in one message for a lively messaging experience.


A built in camera feature on the Nokia 7510 Supernova provides the user with a picture capture & video recording portable device which allows the user to capture & store their favourite moments on their mobile phone. The camera feature comes with a LED flash & a zoom feature which allows the user to capture a clear & bright shot on their mobile phone. A video recording can be captured using the camera feature which means the user can capture moving footage as well as still images. The Nokia 7510 Supernova supports MPEG4 video streaming & the user can view their videos on the clear QVGA screen. A built in FM radio allows the user to enjoy radio entertainment on their handset & a set of stereo headset comes with the phone for a private listening experience. The Nokia 7510 Supernova supports polyphonic, video, MP3, WAV, AAC & eAAC+ ringing tones which the user can download or transfer to suit their ringtone taste. The user can download all their favourite songs or transfer their favourite CD's onto their new mobile phone & play their music on the built in music player.

The 7510 Supernova is a quad band network mobile phone which allows the user to enjoy worldwide roaming but the coverage is fully dependant on the network provider. The phone comes with a fully rechargeable battery which when charged fully can provide up to six hours talk time or approximately three hundred hours standby battery time. The user can surf the Web on the XHTML WAP browser which allows the user to access their favourite online stores & services. The built in EDGE technology allows the user to experience fast data transfer speeds on their phone & the phone supports GPRS as well. The user can connect to their headphone, printer, personal computer, laptop & other devices using either a Bluetooth® wireless connection or a USB cabled connection between two compatible devices. The Nokia 7510 Supernova has a flight mode which allows the user to use a selection of features on their phone when on board an aircraft or in other mobile phone restricted areas as the phones radio transmitters are switched off when the handset is in its safe flight mode.
