This phone was my favourite out of all of them. The design was lovely, its got a good camera, its fun to use, its just really nice I mean like, the battery wasn't even that big of a problem but far as I can remember, you had to use your battery wisely outside because it might just run out but not all the time. I had no problems with it. It lasted a long time ! I would definitely recommend this phone to every age group =).

I think this phone is very pretty which is partly why I chose it over other phones with similar functions. It includes many good features such as long camera life, fast downloads, a large memory & Bluetooth access. However, it can be somewhat slow to load at times, although I have had it nearly two years so it's probably just getting senile in its old age.

One of the biggest benefits of this phone is that I have dropped it about 450, 000, 000 times & there is barely a scratch on it. Once it flew out of my pocket when I was running down a hill, & the back cover flew off, & both the battery & the SIM card came out, but none of them were damaged & they are all still fully functioning, yay.

All in all I think that if you're fairly clumsy this model is a good pick, as it is very durable, plus it has many nice features, however if you're impatient you'll probably want to throw it across the room a lot because it's not the fastest of systems. But this doesn't really matter because like I said, it's not going to break or anything, so throw it all you like.

INFO ON the Nokia 7500, I have had this phone for my birthday. It was hard to find so I had to get one of eBay. I read the reviews on this phone & most people said it was bad that made me worried because the phone was on its way, This phone is excellent & has everything, average 2MP camera, excellent sound, easy to text! Very light, MicroSD up to 8GB memory. I have had this phone 4 months & it hasn't even got loads of scratches yet & I am always dropping it & it looks as good as I first got it!

I love this phone! I have had it since August of 2008 & I am still not bored of it! The screen is so bright, plus the themes are great! Love the way you can change the colours on the side of it, I have had no problems with it, the buttons are not annoying once you get used to them & I have got so many comments from people about it! If you love your fashion & style or just like to stand out, this phone is for you!

Love it, love it, love it! If you're thinking of buying it, do! It's gorgeous & I promise you won't regret it!

I've had this phone since May & I have been impressed. Yes, the camera can be grainy & it does freeze a few times. This is my second one, the first one I had also froze but the replacement is worse! I still like it. It's a shame that it does have some sort of software defect seen as a lot of other people with this phone say that theirs freezes a swell.

Bought it for £69.99 by the way, cheaper now than then.

OK OK OK, so the buttons may be fiddly as some of you may agree. & well Nokia may agree as well, but the fact of the matter is that Nokia created this phone for STYLE! & well, this fits the bill for me & it has a decent camera, MP3. All I need.

Just loving this phone & showing it off to friends, hey they even say they don't like the keypad, but they do like the style. So there you go. 100% design!

Purchased this as a replacement for my 5300. I was amazed how much clearer the screen is.

Themes on here are so much brighter than on old 5300 (& I thought that was good).

Keypad easy to use when texting, not as good as 5300 but not as fiddly as some reviewers would have you believe.

The series 5 S40 operating system is much same as series 3 but with a few refinements.

Can't stand the active standby but can easily turn that off.

Battery life is not good. At best a day & a half but normally just a day. However the good thing is that the battery recharges in much less time than my old 5300.

An hour & a half sees my battery fully charged.

Overall a very good phone.

I would NOT recommend this phone to anyone. I had this phone for a month & hated it. The battery life was poor, it froze when I received calls & I was forever having to take it apart & put it back together again. The quality of the handset is rubbish, & it looks cheap, wish I had kept my Nokia 6300.

Have since changed it for a Samsung u600 & have never looked back.

The prism is a good phone, but as others have said battery life is not so good. If you look at the specifications you should have 280 hours standby & 2.8 hours talk time, I am seem to be lucky if I manage much more than 36 hours on standby & talking you can just about watch the battery level drop. How come the likes of Sony Ericsson & Samsung can make phones that will last a week between charges yet Nokia struggle with a couple of days.

I had my phone for about 2 weeks & everything was going great. Everyone commented on how amazing my phone was & I was happy that not many people had the same phone as me. Now I know why.

After two weeks the menu button on the joystick stopped working all of a sudden. I could still use the shortcut keys, but was unable to use the most important button. I was unable to lock my phone, or answer text messages etc. I had to take the front cover off so I could make any important calls or messages, I got another 7500, but this time I couldn't even get it turned on at all.

I am very disappointed in Nokia, as they usually provide very reliable mobiles. I am also disappointed, because the 7500 is a very unique & nice phone.

I have become really disappointed with this phone & would tell Orange to take it back in a flash. Like other people I have had the phone freezing problem for a while now & like the others the only way past it is battery out in operation. Over the last month the on off button at the top has stopped working & today it has failed totally & will no longer work. It has not been dropped nor misused but just come to its end very abruptly. I will now be reverting to my old phone & will say that this is the first time I have been let down by Nokia. It may be quirky & cool but it just hasn't done it for me.

Hey guys I must say I am really crazy about this phone, I bought last week on Monday, I then did something which has never been done on this earth & probably will never be done by anyone on earth except me. I just kept & introduced it on Friday, guess what I did, I bought a pink shirt & I wore it on Friday & applied my DKNY perfume & put the pink belt on the phone & changed the theme to pink as well, hey guys you should have seen the girls! Kiss me kiss me, am still continuing to get those congrats! I love this phone I like the fact that you can actually change the vibrant belt to match your mode. Not to talk about the features, Bluetooth, radio, email. I must admit Nokia has finally & successfully managed to impress me.

Thanks Nokia!

Really happy with the phone apart from the fact that it keeps freezing on me 2 to 3 times a day, the only way to unfreeze it is to whip the battery out a fiddly operation at best.

Looking around there seems to be quite a few complains about this happening but more so on the 7900. I will wait for a software update from Nokia but if none appears the thing will have to go, shame because I really like it!

Where to start? I got this phone yesterday, Saturday 24th May 2008. I was looking to replace my Nokia 6230i which is beaten up & the back & select buttons don't work. I was trying to buy a Nokia N95 however could not find it on Pay As You Go, & if I had bought it outright it would have cost almost £500!

I decided that as I had seen the Nokia 5310 & had wanted that around my birthday or Xmas I would buy that. I know it is a good phone as two of my friends own it. However upon asking for the phone, I was told they had sold their last one not two minutes ago (unfortunately brother & mum told me not to get it as it had a joystick.

As I was told it had the same specs as the Nokia 5310 I decided I would chance it & bought the phone. I was shocked at the price, a mere £78.89, which was all the better. As I was upgrading I received £21.11 free credit from O2 as a thank you for getting the phone. This is good as I need lots of credit!

Back to the phone, when I returned home I charged it for 15 minutes & then went out again. I used the phone all evening making phone calls & playing games. The battery worked all night. I forgot to charge it before I went to bed, but when I awoke charged it for half an hour & left home again. I took photos in the rain today & the charging of half an hour kept the phone working for over 13 hours. I have found no fault with the battery life, but as I usually keep my charger with me I will have no problems.

It is tricky to remove the back cover, & really the phone should have come with a USB cable. But apart from that, it is a very nice sleek phone with lots of style. Can't wait to show it off!

I would recommend this phone, even though I have only had it a day! Buy Buy Buy! 100% brilliant!

I got this phone today, & am writing a quick brief review of what I have seen so far. Was wondering whether or not to get it but in the end I finally did! My only other choice was the Sony Ericsson W580i but it has loads of negative reviews about the keys splitting etc.

Very pleased with it, the camera is so much better than my previous VGA camera, & it has flash. The coloured bands are a great way to personalise the phone, & the themes are very stylish. It also has Bluetooth & radio.

I am very pleased with it so far but will write another review at a future date when I have used it more.

I really like the Nokia 7500 Prism. It's stylish, different, sleek & stands out from the crowd. The features on this phone are also very decent, MP3 player, 2MP Camera, Flash, Games & Bluetooth. It has all the features a phone should have. The keypad is surprisingly as easy to use as any Nokia phone.

I would recommend this mobile to any person who likes to stand out & be different, or simply who wants to try something new.

This phone is great. I wasn't too keen on the design at first but now I love it.

I have had it since January & have started to have some problems with it, the screen often freezes & I have to take out the battery. Also scratches happen really easily & are really noticeable.

I dropped my 7500 the other day & the bottom of the phone has come off & it is really hard to press the star key what is unlock. The battery life is fine for me as I do charge it most days. I am returning this phone because of the faults but I am definitely getting a new one as it is on contract.

Have owned a few phones in my time & I have to say this is the best one yet, it has a fantastic camera with digit zoom & a built in flash. The two not so good things is the memory card in situated under the battery, anyone that hasn't got an UBS cable may find this a bit of a bind, but they are available from good computer outlets & are not that expensive. Would be good though if one came with the phone. The other thing is to change the fascia on the phone you also need a special screwdriver (M6), I believe it is, try changing it without & you are in danger of breaking the fascia, but again they are easily purchased from a good tool shop. On the whole very pleased with it & I have recommended it to some friends.

I don't know why people are complaining about the battery life.
I charge mine every 3 days & I make a lot of calls & listen to music for a long time each day & through all of that the lowest my battery gets to after 3 days is just half.

The camera quality is very good as well. It is only grainy when you use it in poor light & have the flash switched off.

There is nothing about this phone that makes me say to myself, oh I wish my phone had the features of so & so phone.

It has everything you need for a personal use based phone. Definitely recommend!

Great little phone, joystick a bit fiddly, same features basically as the 6300 got 7500 as the wife has 6300, toss up between the two really. The 6300 edges it, as it's a better build quality. Key pad layout, funky design not to bad to use though, it will be dust trap in time as spaces between the diamond keys, are larger than a normal layout.

Overall for me 7 out of 10, for 7500, got it free on contract, would I pay for yep if it was around 70 GBP mark, any higher no, would get the 6300 instead as the build quality on that's top notch compared to 7500 with its shiny plastic case. & the software's basically the same on both models.

The only issue I have with it is sometimes the joystick action for scrolling can be annoying & not do what is supposed to as it's small. Apart from that it's a good phone.

Bought this phone from Vodafone & find it very good. Have a 6300 for work, but this is just a bit more funky! In truth I got a Sony Ericsson W910i at first, but when it was delivered I was horrified to find the camera does not even zoom, trip back in time or what!

So settled for old faithful Nokia! Should have known better than to stray in the first place!

Stunning design & has loads of features, comes with some more features than the 7900 version e.g. FM radio, plastic personalisation thingy etc. But lacks a couple of features from the 7900 e.g. 3G, video calling.

The keys can be quite difficult to press but the battery is quite good I don't know what everyone is complaining about, as long as you don't make a lot of calls & listen to music for a long time it should last for 3 or 4 days.

Nokia India is incompetent to render proper service to its clients. Technical experts sitting at front desks of Nokia care in Delhi are incompetent to solve customer's problems. They are expert only in convincing & making the innocent clients fool. There is not even a single Nokia care centre in Delhi that is equipped with even a single knowledgeable staff sitting at front desk. Just spare a day & stand outside any Nokia CARE centre & enquire from each client coming out of it if he or she was satisfied & it would emerge that not a single customer was satisfied. Each of these centre must be extracting between Rs. 30, 000 to 50, 000/- daily by making the innocent customers fool. I am narrating my experiences with Nokia.

Firstly, I purchased E-50 Nokia on 30th June 2007, the very first day I found that there is some problem with the new set as its loudspeakers got activated some time at its own (when a call was on) & during that particular call then the call gets hanged & you cannot come out of it until you switch off the phone. The Nokia repaired it at their Noida set up through Nokia care. But the problem still persisted. Though I got so many calls from Nokia care but they could not get the faulty set repair. I could sense that there was design problem therefore, I had to sold that unit in half price within a month period.

I considered that there was some design problem with E-50 therefore, then I Purchased a New Prism Nokia 7500 with IMEI no. 356440013311699. There were a lot of problems in the new set. In fact I could now judge that Nokia's business has increased so much in India that they are not able to keep up with the quality control. In Delhi, Nokia is making huge money but is not able to provide after sales service. Though on making complaints I got calls from Nokia but to my surprise no one there was able to rectify my problems. In fact persons at Nokia care do not have even basic knowledge. They agreed to change my phone & supplied me another Prism 7500 (IMEI no. 356 4400 125 71 665). But to my horror, new set was having more problems than the earlier one. I think they replaced my phone with another faulty phone. I requested them to return my old set that was having lesser problems than the new set. It is my humble appeal to general public to not to purchase either E50 or Prism 7500. As it seems that both these models have design problems.

Now I don't know, in front of whom I should cry. As on date I am perturbed with one major problem in my set (Prism 7500) that neither it retains the contents of the messages I send nor It shows the delivery report. I am always confused if the message is sent or not. Nokia care could not set this problem right. Is there anyone who can help me?

Hi everyone. People do like to moan on about the faults with their phones so I thought I would try to be positive in my review & comments.

My 7500 prism is a great looking phone & it makes my friends look at it & admire its unique design, I really love the phone & it does everything I want it to do.

Answer for Annabelle in the UK, yes it does have Bluetooth, I hope that helps you buy this phone.

The battery is not that great but I just charge it frequently to avoid it getting to low.

Come on everyone it is nearly that wonderful time of year full of Christmas cheer, love your phones for Christmas.

I recently got this phone & think it looks great & seems to have bags of useful features on it, but it comes without a USB cable! My existing cable from my previous Nokia doesn't fit it & so I can't see any way to be able to transfer music or picture files from my PC to my phone, rendering it pretty useless! Any ideas?

Vodafone told me it just doesn't come with one & there's no sign of any compatible cable on the entire Nokia site, so I am thinking I am going to have to send it back & soon! All suggestions welcome.

I am one of the people that actually does like the phone's design, it also has nice features with all you may need from the phone.

But battery life is weak, if I even dare listen to the music I have to charge it EVERY day. This IS a problem, imagine going somewhere for the weekend. Either don't talk, or expect to charge the phone on Saturday. My ugly 5 year old Sony had to be charged every second day - after 5 years of usage.

I am actually considering returning the phone on that ground.

I purchased newly introduced Prism-7500model of Nokia on 7/10/2007. Till today I.e. On 17/10/207, I have noticed the following problems with it.

1. I do S.M.S, out of ten SMS only 5/6 are sent by it. In 4/5 cases, after its sending, these are not even traceable either in sent folder nor drafts folder or any other folder & receivers also confirms that they had not received any SMS. Nor any delivery report is there. The whole message goes missing.

2. Speed dials behave very unpredictable. If I push/dial no.3 digit, telephone number fed at 6 no. Starts dialing. If digit 6 is dialed/pushed the number fed at 9 or 2 would be dialed. However, please note that it makes mistake only during first attempt & does not repeat the mistake at second time, if the same number is pushed again.

3. If a call is on, & in between some call comes. After the call is finished, the miss call number would not be there on the screen. If you are too busy in talking, the person calling in between get annoyed if he does not get a call back. & I am unable to call him as I never knew that in between there was some call.

Please solve my problem at the earliest.

Hello All - I am getting this phone as soon as I find a good deal on Pay As You Go, I think it is truly gorgeous & will be proud to show it to my work friends. I like phones that look different & the 7500 PRISM is certainly different. I am not sure about how reliable it is or how good the features are so I only gave it an average rating for the time being until I get my hands on it I can't really give a fair judgement, but it does look & sound perfect for all my mobile phone needs, I am very excited, can't wait for it to be release on PAYG.

This is an excellent small & light Nokia. Great music player which supports A2DP (stereo Bluetooth) & expandable memory (it is supplied with a 521MB card).

You can change the colour edging round the sides & three different colours are supplied in the box (pink, green & blue).

It has a newer version of the S40 operating system with some nice tweaks in messaging. Its speaker sounds good for ringtones & the camera is good enough for quick snaps.

The only downside is that it has a fairly small battery. If you make a lot of calls you will need to charge it every day.

I make or receive around 15 minutes of calls, around 50 texts & 30 minutes of music per day & the battery lasts 2 to 3 days. But as long as it lasts a day then it's fine by me.

It's also good value for money, you can find it SIM free online for around £150.
