Nokia 7270 Review

The Nokia 7270 is a very unique looking phone with a truly stunning bold design. The handset come in a choice of two design & they are both highly attractive, the original inspiration model is mainly black with red detailing & the new black model which is black with some very subtle white detailing. The phone comes with a very smooth flip opening mechanism & it can be flipped open very easily in the user one hand. The phone comes with changeable snap on leather & material enhanced covers. The Nokia 7270 comes from the same family as the Nokia 7280 & the Nokia 7260 as they all come in this very fashionable black, red & white retro style casing. The three phones have very different opening mechanisms & the features differ slightly.

The 7270 comes with an internal bright TFT 65k colour screen (128 x 160 pixels) & a smaller external 4k colour screen (96 x 65 pixels). The dual screen feature is highly useful as both screens can be used a viewfinder for the great built in camera. The VGA camera comes with 4 x digital zoom & the camera really brings life to the Nokia 7270 & the user will find it great fun. The camera comes with some amasing features which include picture modes such as portrait, standard & night modes. The user can select the quality of the photo which are high, normal or basic. The camera can very quickly turn into a built in video recorder complete with a video player.

The phone comes with some voice features which offer the user freedom as they are totally voice activated. The voice features include voice dialling, voice commands, internal handsfree speaker & voice recorder. The integrated FM radio allows the user to tune into their favourite radio station & enjoy the music which can be heard very clearing from the 7270.

Messaging is always a popular & fun feature for all mobile phones & the Nokia 7270 is no different, it offers the user the best messaging services available. The user has the choice of multimedia messaging service which allows them to send photos, images, sound, voice & text in one message to any MMS compatible device, text messaging service (SMS), email or instant messaging. The concatenated text message (SMS) service allows the user to send & receive up to six messages as a single message. The push to talk feature allows the user to select a one to one call or a group call with the hit of the dedicated PTT key.

The phone comes equipped with a Pop Port™ interface & infra red connectivity along with tri band technology which give the freedom of GSM 900, GSM 1800 & GSM 1900 networks in Europe, Africa, Asia Pacific, North America, & South America.

I have been using this mobile phone for few months. I like this phone very much specially its elegant look & keys. Beautiful & bright display. Camera is good. All I can say the minus point is. It is a little heavier than any other phones.

Nokia 7270 is another good quality phone by the market leaders, it is a fun phone but that is mainly because the design is so retro. The camera is wicked, like the small screen on the outer cover & it really helps me as I am no David Bailey. A bit expensive but if you like the design you should go for it & forget the expense, you will love it.

I have always been a Nokia fan & I must admit I do not have this phone but the design theme is lovely & I want to buy it for my teenage daughter. Jenny, my daughter will be over the moon when I get this phone for her. I hope it is reliable & works well for her. I will ask her to write a review on it when she gets it.

Fantastic looking mobile phone, totally in love with the design. The fold open concept is fantastic & the internal keys are the best as they are well spread out & very easy to use. I love the camera & I can not stop using it which is really good fun. Not really into playing games at all but have had a little go with my nephew & the games are really good fun. The screens are really clear & I have found it really useful to have an external screen on a fold open phone. I like the Nokia 7260 & the 7280 which come in the same design as this phone, the design is really fresh & funky in this range & I bet it will be very popular. If you need to change your mobile have a look at this range they are really tempting & my experience with the 7270 is very good & highly recommended.

The recorder works for a miserly 3 minutes & the phone provides a poor sound quality which surprised me. The design & look is gorgeous & that is what I wanted but I do feel a little let down by the video record feature & the sound quality. It may be I have a fault with my phone so I will ask for a replacement as I like everything else about this phone. May try Sony Ericsson next time as people are talking about their new range of phones being very good.

Luvin the 7270 & it is the best phone I have ever used. What a super design & the glamorous look turns this phone into the black beauty of phones. It has a camera with zoom, FM radio, video recording, games & the battery holds charge for ages. I am trilled with this phone.
