The Nokia 7070 Prism is a member of the stylish Nokia Prism range which includes other fashionable looking mobile phone such as the Nokia 7500 Prism & the Nokia 7900 Prism. The 7070 Prism is a stunning handset which comes with a black glossy diagonal diamond effect casing. The phone is available with either a pink or a blue coloured section but the majority of the casing is a high glossed black coloured casing. The Nokia 7070 Prism is a clamshell phone which can be opened to reveal a super looking keypad which is also etched into the beautiful diagonal diamond shaped designed keys. The keypad is incredibly user friendly & tactile which makes inputting text & contact numbers easy for the user. The user can view the colourful wallpapers & screen savers on the 65k colour screen when the handset is in the opened position. The screen is 1.8 Inches in size when measures diagonally & has a 128 pixel by 160 pixel screen resolution.

The Nokia 7070 Prism is a compact mobile phone due to its stunning clamshell design which measures 87.5mm tall by 44mm wide by 15.8mm deep. This highly portable phone weighs 78 grams including the fitted battery which is lightweight for a clamshell fashion phone. The user can enjoy hearing ringing tones in either MP3 or polyphonic sound which allows the user to choice a ringing tone to suit the users music taste. The built in phone book features holds up to one thousand contacts. The Nokia 7070 Prism comes with a built in calendar feature & an organiser which displays the user's appointments by week or month depending on the user's requirements. The user can make quick calculations using the integrated calculator & the phone also has a conversion feature. The fitted battery is fully rechargeable & when fully charged provides up to 5 hours of talk time or up to 480 hours of battery standby time. The Nokia 7070 Prism comes with 11 megabytes of internal memory which allows the user to store their contact detail, saved messages & ringing tones.

The user can communicate with others using the built in call features which include a handsfree speaker feature which allows the user to talk over the phones speaker system without having to hold the handset to their ear throughout the call. The 7070 Prism supports a wide selection of messaging features which include audio messaging, instant messaging, text messaging, multimedia messaging & email. The user can share images via the multimedia messaging service which is better known as MMS messaging. The Nokia 7070 Prism comes with a WAP Internet browser which allows the user to experience a XHTML Internet experience on their mobile phone for a fully portable internet experience.

Well I gave it the higher ranking for it is a good basic phone that my elderly mother (70s) can handle with ease. Flip open to answer, close to end the call. She uses it for calls & perhaps to receive some SMS now & then.

Wish the dates, times etc could be larger & the case could be a little sturdier, I fear a drop may spell the end of the phone, as it scatters into pieces. The charger point could be a little more visible.

It's small, really light, looks like a toy phone. I have given mine to my little sister to play with it. No Bluetooth, no infra-red, no camera. The graphic is old type, proper rubbish. I'd say the graphic is much better on the old time Nokia 7210. Overall the design looks wicked in a magazine, so does it look bigger in size. But in reality it's a small plastic phone. Probably the best thing on it would be the light flashes, once you shut the phone that's about it. The phone isn't even worth twenty quid. I was so stupid to buy that for a 50!

Great looking phone with lousy connectivity. So many advertisements announce that you have MP3, pictures etc. In your phone but nobody says how difficult they are to transfer. There's no infra red, Bluetooth, the only way is to get them through the air but for that you have to pay to your operator!

The data cable was a drag to find. Finally got it through the Internet, but the software coming with the cable (bulk, Nokia do not make them) does not recognise the phone :(. Now I've been trying to find a software, with no luck.
