Excellent features & design also very light weight quick access to menu & you can customize the menu (setup) & tools according to your style.

Only have 1 bad thing to say about this phone. I use the phone lock to stop prying eyes but this can be unlocked simply by calling the phone & answering it, once answered your phone is unlocked for the minute it takes the phone to lock itself again (default). This gives the holder access to your contacts, messages, call log.

Otherwise I love this phone, its multimedia is excellent, PC connectivity easy, extra memory available, music player good enough although not used now I have an iPod. I am only looking for an alternative because of this locking problem. What I would be curious about is whether all Nokia's can be unlocked this way?

I recently had a Nokia E65 & found it to be very slow in responding to the buttons, but this phone is fantastic & is very quick. I like the flip up, very smooth, & the keypad is very good. It's really nice.

After waiting in vain to get the blue colour (apparently unavailable in Hong Kong! ) I bit the bullet & got the black. This is the best phone I've ever used (I've been using them since 1996). It's smaller & thinner than my Nokia 6260, & has a 50MB phone memory instead of 6MB. Despite its brilliant looks & performance, it seems to be hard to get here for some strange reason. Dealers here seem almost reluctant to sell it. Perhaps someone has a theory about this. The reception is fine & the music sound is tremendous with stereo speakers, equalization, bass boost, reverb & 3D. This phone has a solid feel to it, & this makes a change from some of the feeble contrivances that many manufacturers put on the market. The screen is slightly bigger than that of the 6260 & very clear. It has a good camera & video camera. Contrary to one of the professional reviews on the net, it DOES have a speaker phone which also works just fine. This is the only review I have ever done on a mobile phone, so it is fairly basic. Investigate this phone thoroughly if you are in the market for a new device. Never mind the fashionable, just feel the quality!

I tried 4 other phones before this one came out & was waiting for N76 but that was too expensive. Bought it online from Nokia website. Love everything about it. Really simple to find menus, love active standby & so many options to add to contacts. Love it! Music player excellent though changed headphones & had to buy an adapter which cost £2.00 on eBay. Want more popular games for it but not available yet.

It is fascinating, it has simple design, it has excellent resolution for camera 2 Megapixel , it has many features, I like this mobile & I think it is the best one for me to use & I advice any one to have it, to enjoy the wonderful options & also it has imaginable blue colour.

I appreciate Nokia to makes such a beautiful one Nokia 6290.
