It's a great phone with great features. I am using it for almost a year now. It's just a little too sensitive & if you drop it, it will damage the sliding mechanism which will result in poor network signal, less speaker volume, blacked out screen, not working turnoff button. Other than that if you keep the phone nicely, it will work smoothly.

The slider design could be improved. Camera picture quality is superb, but video quality is very bad. Looks really elegant & classy. That's the thing I like about it!

If you want a phone to match your businessman or professional kind of personality, this is the right thing for you!

This overall is a good phone & I have had it for about a year & a half now however, it is put together rather badly especially the front cover which is very wobbly, I have also has lots of problems with the phone crashing & scrolling through music & pictures can take forever although the phone has lots of good features especially the stereo speakers, the way it is put together & the way it operates lets it down.

Today I decided that my next phone won't be a Nokia again even though I really loved my 6270 I bought in April 2006. Despite the fact that sometimes when I flipped the phone open to call somebody the sound of the speaker became strangely echoing. Despite two dead pixels that appeared in December. Despite some charging problems (sim card not registered). Yesterday after charging a strange black cluster of black pixels appeared on my screen. Switching the phone off & back on I saw that they were indeed dead pixels. My Mum bought a Samsung slider phone the month I bought mine. Her camera is better & she has never had problems with her phone.

Thanks for that, Nokia.

Its a good phone, but since it is a series 40 phone, I found some backlogs in this phone, like it cannot play realplayer format & can't play video files etc, & also I can't find any good applications which are useful but otherwise its a good phone.

Please read this carefully then purchase 6270.

After purchasing the Nokia 6270, the same day I came back to my home town & I found a network problem in my 6270 phone. After that I went to Lucknow for phone repairing & I left my phone on the 11-jun-2006, 26-aug-2006 & 16-oct-2006 in the Nokia care center. Every time I got the phone back, it had the same problem.

I have now been told that they will give me a new 6270 phone. But it does not matter, because I have been lost 5 months, what will they give against that? What a world class service you are giving, it's left very good impact on customer & your Nokia market also. What a quality of service you are giving to your customer, who trusts on Nokia products.

What I have lost till-now

1- I have lost my 3000 Rupee because my home town is 250 Km from Lucknow.
2- I have lost approximately 1000 Rupee on making phone calls.
3- Now market value of 6270 is 2500 Rupee down.
4- Now company giving 1GB. Memory card with 6270.
5- It's become out-dated.

Its all means I have purchase Nokia 6270 mobile more then 22000.00 rupee. Thanks for giving such kind of service.

Very good phone but let down in my opinion by the select menu button. Had the phone replaced three times now & its only 9 months old. All with the same fault can not select with menu considering this is the main route to every thing on the phone it should have been made stronger, that's my opinion.

This phone is faulty. I am pretty sure there must be a manufacturers fault with the phone. I am on my second phone now in 5 months. The earpiece within the phone sounds extremely tinny when making phone calls & the microphone is also faulty & makes the user sound like a cross between Darth Vader & Stephen Hawkings...I think Nokia rushed this model out to compete with the Samsung D500 slide phone....sorry NOKIA, but you failed this time!!!

No applications neither, ooooh, but you can make your own if you read the HUGE manual from the Nokia forums & understand all the jargon in there....

I have the Nokia 6270 for my personal usage & a Nokia 6680 as my business phone. The 6270 is a good but the camera lets it down. The flash helps when trying to capture a great clear shot but for a 2 mega pixel camera it really is not as good as I expected. The phone is very stylish & the opening system is smoother than most. Sound is good & messaging is easy. Just don't expect too much from the integrated camera would be my advise to others.

The 6270 has the best key layout that I have ever used. Loads of memory yippy & the battery is good. The camera is quick & easy to use & the best part is that I can store all of my photos easily without having to worry about the amount of memory available. I don't use the radio very much but the music player is a great feature & I don't know what I ever done without having music on my phone. Well worth a look at this phone if you are considering buying it, it is a very reliable & super looking phone designed by the market leaders.
