An OK phone but not very nice to use, keyboard doesn't always pick up when letters have been pressed, Bluetooth won't connect to every phone or my car. I have a lot of photos from the inside of my pocket because the camera button was pressed & the phone unlocked itself.

The phone seems to be overloaded with apps etc which seem to be useless & only there to give the phone a smart status : (.

But I do like the option to have the standby bar at the top with the calendar on show, it lets me know what I am doing without having to go through the whole phone to find out.

Had this phone for three months & I think I'll go back to my old LG Shine, as its less complicated & easier to use!

Hi. I am using my Nokia 6210 Navigator from past 10 months & the first thing that I must say that it is a very nice, usable phone.

Firstly I want to say that this phone never hang in the middle its 3.2 megapixel camera is very good & have double flash makes it amazing. Every picture take by it is very clear & beautiful. Panorama feature is also very good.

Its navigation key is also very nice & shows you everything you want to know.Battery backup is also very nice. Look wise also it is very cool & beautiful. Very nice phone.

I have had my phone for about six months now & it's OK.

However, although I can get the compass to work I can never get the GPS to work so using to actually find out where you are is useless. Although I do like the maps & use them quite a lot.

I also find it has a very very very short battery life. I am charging it nearly every day! & it's even worse if you actually use it a lot on calls! Very bad.

Unlike others reviews mentioned I have no problem with the keys & texting is no problem either.

However, I do find it quite bulky & I do find trying to use the Internet on it very frustrating.

Overall it's a very overrated phone, OK for normal use but does not live up to its expectations. It's not good value for money & I would not by another one.

If I had known it would have been so user unfriendly I would have saved myself a bit of money & bought a Nokia 6600 slide as I am using this phone the same way I used to use that one.

Have had this handset for 9 months, very cross that it will not connect with Bluetooth in my car. Nokia really got this wrong. Texting is difficult. It cannot spell even when the word is saved it forgets. Flimsy keyboard.

Like camera, except for button on side of phone which is knocked a lot. Like Vodafone travel.

All in all wish I had a different phone that would connect to car! I would not recommend this phone.

One of the worst phones I've ever had. Have never had the GPS work, so thank goodness I own a Sat Nav to get me around. Have had mine (purchased on plan for twenty four months through Vodafone) for twelve months. It has consistently switched itself off. When it is turned back on, it asks to insert SIM card even though it hasn't been removed. Now it is unable to make calls & has connection problems constantly. As I don't have a land line & it is my only phone it is very frustrating. Have been back to Vodafone, who (rudely) told me that I CLEARLY needed to update the software. So I did & I believe the problems are worse. I then went back in hopes of having it replaced or fixed, but they then wanted $200 deposit for lending me a (rubbish, old) loan phone while their faulty product was sent off for repairs.

So in all NOT HAPPY. I bought the Nokia because I had so many problems with my previous Motorola. Now I have no faith in mobile phones. I would recommend people to NOT get this model.

Worst phone I've ever had. Plasticy feel, very poor quality. Slider wobbles when open & I think it why the numbers are starting to disintegrate (they catch on the slider). After 3 months, 1, 4 & 7 keys started breaking along the left hand edge. Returned phone to Vodafone who decided keypad was faulty & sent off for repair. Now only 2 months later exactly the same thing has happened to the 9 key. So will be returning it to Vodafone again & trying to get a different handset as have got 18 month contract & there's no way this one is going to last that long. Hasn't been dropped & have never had a problem with phones before (have had several Nokia's as well).

GPS is rubbish, consistently says I am in a different location to where I am (2 streets away from my home) therefore don't trust it to get me anywhere.

Reasonable sound quality from MP3 player & camera OK for a mobile but that's not the point.

Battery life terrible 2 to 3 days even with limited Internet use & don't watch videos or anything on it.

All in all, a BIG disappointment. Don't get it!

Has some nice features but very poor build quality. Within a few week the volumes buttons on the side had broken off. Also on incoming calls it does not always give the caller ID. Seems to do it randomly. So only for recognising the number sometimes I would not answer the phone! At first I thought it was a settings problem but having checked all that it just seems it's not very well put together. Don't think the navigation is very user friendly either compared to other Nokia phones I have had.

Upgraded from a 6300 but much prefer my old phone (which I would go back to except the power button on top has jammed). Think I am seeing a pattern here of dodgy Nokia phones!

I am now on my 2nd Nokia 6210 in the space of one month. The 1st one kept freezing & now it shows the wrong date missing calendar alerts. It also cuts out mid conversation.

I am now waiting for a replacement handset & certainly will not be going for this model again. I do not recommend this handset if you are looking to buy.

Got this phone as an upgrade to my Nokia 6288, on the first day the camera froze when taking a picture 3 times in succession & took about 15 seconds to sort itself out, & displayed 'A general error has occurred' or something similar.

The top three buttons are a bit fiddly especially if you have large fingers as the slider gets in the way.

The voice activated dialling is not as reliable as my trusty 6288 which only ever dialled the wrong number 2 or 3 times in two years. This was one of the features that I was really hoping would be as reliable as the 6288 is.

Worst of all happened on the second day, FAULTY KEYPAD, I had just finished making a call to Vodafone customer services, when I put the phone down a 7 appeared on the screen, I pressed the C button to cancel it & it happened again & again, basically every time my finger even lightly touches any part of the left side of the keypad it will display the number 7, so if I wanted to dial 4, 1 or the STAR I would get 7.

Overall the phones features are really good but I feel that the build quality lets it down & there are obviously some software issues with the camera.

I have always liked Nokia phones for their ease of use but setting this one up & customizing it was not that easy.

Lastly I also had some problems when transferring music files via Bluetooth, with the copied file having dropouts in it.

I am hoping that this is just a one of bad experience with Nokia as I have agreed to exchange it for the 5800 which I will have to also pay extra so I am keeping my fingers crossed, but if the 5800 is no good I will send it back & just carry on using my 6288.

I have had mine for less than a week & woke up this morning & it had turned off. When I tried charging it wouldn't respond so I charged the battery in another 6210. Now, with a fully charged battery, my phone will turn on but shut down before it starts up. It hasn't been dropped or in damp areas. I have also heard of this happening in other 6210's.

It has great features but seems poorly made. I will definitely be replacing it with another model.

When I first got this phone I expected a lot than it is. I should say it's easy to text & dial a number however I hate it when I click on the buttons (because you need to press it a bit hard). I didn't really find something interesting in it. It's a good mobile for navigation & basic use only! I regret that I bought it because now many new great mobiles are out as well as many are on sale. I can't stand it & now it's my 5th month & I am still not satisfied with it.& on the other hand the camera is quite good but sometimes it has some kind of error the quality of the mobile isn't good, as it freezes sometimes & I usually switch it off or take the battery out for it to work again. The battery isn't good & the mobile needs to be charged mostly every day or two. Despite the issues it has I only like the rotate feature (turns your display to landscape when you turn the device to the left) for it you should turn your sensor on & that's about it. I highly don't recommend this mobile.

This phone feels & looks smart. Just don't try & use the Bluetooth function. It's appalling. I am disconnected on 90% of my calls in my car. As an added bonus the actual call through the network stays live so you get to pay for the downtime, while you're trying to switch to handset or loudspeaker.

& like others, I've had the freezing menu problem. I am in the process of demanding a new phone of a different variety.

At first I was a bit unsure of the phone, it does feel a bit plasticy, & is not well made, & yes the top row of buttons are cramped.

Apart from that it's great, I didn't want a touch screen iPhone style phone (too expensive & delicate) this is just a phone that also does GPS, decent Internet, music, take pictures, shows videos etc etc.

It is not the easiest phone to use, but once you learn the shortcuts it's OK, I like how I can make calls or read texts without sliding the keypad open but it'll never be as easy to use as my old Nokia 6300.

As for battery life I must have a new version? My battery has currently lasted me for 3 days & still has half a charge left, this despite me demoing it to my friends & testing it out by playing videos, surfing the Internet, using GPS on the way to work etc (basically using it more then I normally would).

I have had my phone for 4 months & it has lost all my numbers while it was in my hand & I was texting someone. It won't read my backup so I cannot load my numbers back. Vodafone shop were extremely unhelpful it also cuts you off mid conversation connects & disconnects from the car kit as it pleases fails while taking pictures looses the wall paper I put on it & returns to standard. & to top it off today it will not make or receive calls from mobiles but Landlines work! I am now off to the Vodafone shop to see what they will do about it.

To anyone who is thinking about getting it don't it is the worst phone I have even had or used.

This phone does have a lot of features, but quite strong drawbacks too.

- It does feel cheap after you've had it a while. Plus the slider doesn't fit quite right.

- the keyboard is horrible. The top row is cramped, so SMS writing is severely affected. Plus the keys are flat so it's hard to get the feel right & write without looking at them.

- the most important thing - battery life! It sucks. I have to charge it everyday on normal use. & some days it starts beeping late afternoon & by 11pm, no battery. This really REALLY gets on my nerves.

I wouldn't recommend it.

Good points.
- Can do virtually everything you can imagine e.g. GPS, radio, Internet, dictionary, camera, brain training etc.
- Looks sleek, I don't think it seems cheap like people keep saying.
- Easy to use.

Bad points.
- Seriously short battery life, I am having to charge it everyday, I am going to speak to Vodafone about this.
- No other bad points!

On the face of it this phone looks good, lots of features & good looking handset. But there it ends!

On my second one in three months & away for repair again.

- Drops signal frequently in areas where signal on other phones is strong. Loses a lot of calls as a result.
- Sound very crackly & volume low, particularly on speakerphone.
- Bluetooth not compatible with a lot of other devices, in particular car kits. Does not even work properly with Vodafone Visor.
- New Nokia software does not have flexibility to change settings in the way that the old software did.

In over twelve years this is easily the worst phone I have ever had, there is no way it will last out the rest of the twelve month contract period. DO NOT BUY IT!

Umm the screen is nice & if it's made of cheap material. No problem just buy a cover for it or be careful while holding it. That's it. I really recommend it.

I needed help from my 12 year old daughter to set it up, we found it hard to take the back cover off. Once set up, it's easy to use & now I love it.

I bought 6210 Navigator one month ago & I have already found some important defects, mainly on software.

- Phone software sometimes freezes (needs to take away battery to restart).
- Camera very often can't save photos & gives System error.
- Alarm has very annoying issues, if you set alarm for working days, it blocks the phone calendar starting from Saturday. If you restart it, following Saturday it will be blocked again, so on. You also cannot set a repeated alarm for a day of week. It only works for the current day.
- Rear cover is very fragile & difficult to open. I am always worried to break it, when I need to open.

My greater concern is about Nokia support to 6210. They don't seem in a hurry to fix bugs neither respond to support request mails.

I have owned a navigator 6210. On the second day of purchased the phone started to give me problems. Always auto off, hang, all the messages gone after the phone hang, camera not clear, sometime the camera cannot take photo, battery drained very fast. Really regret buying this phone.

It has all chances to become one of Nokias best seller, if they decide to finish the temporary license with which the phone is supplied, or else they will keep winning complains in their complains book like I did. 70 Euro per year is the price of the license on this area. By the way if you don't pay it, 6 monhs after the purchase date you will have a phone without GPS because it will stop working. Pure robbery in my opinion. The sound is better than the 6110 on the earphones but a lot worse in the included speaker. A real success among ladies until they discover you were robbed. Enjoy the screen is great though watch music videos for example. Camera could be better especially in video mode. Is too slow & too grainy.

I've had my navigator a couple of weeks now, was a little bit wary at first considering the amount of poor reviews I had read, but in all honesty I, m not sure what people were moaning about, I absolutely love it, it's simple to use, & the GPS is great! , I'll never get lost again, texting is easy, the music players good, its light & well built, the cameras good, although I would say it's not amazing, but all in all it's a great little phone, & I would highly recommend it.

For me, this phone is perfect. My boyfriend has the N95 & does not like the fact that my phone works better than his.

For those of you that have had problems with battery life, I have not had the battery last any less than 2 days, & on a few occasions (when I have not needed used the GPS at all), the battery has lasted 6 to 7 days. This is a big improvement on the Samsung C300 I had before that had no features yet even when the phone was just left on standby would last only 3 days max between charges. I think the reason for poor battery life is not switching GPS off or other applications (hence why at the top of the options menu that is available in any application there is the option of viewing all open applications so that they can be closed).

OK, the phone takes a while to figure out how to use it properly, but with so many features packed in I wasn't expecting it to be a breeze to start off with.

As for feeling plasticy & cheap, I think all Nokia's have a feeling of cheapness to them. It may feel plasticy, but what do you expect if the phone is made out of that material? !

Overall, I don't think you can get a better value for money phone. I just hope it does not let me down by developing any faults further down line (I think I have had it 10 weeks).

Light & plastic, shame it could be good it has all the features I want. Sat nav I am not fussed on but the Vodafone one on my Blackberry has been very good.

Text is so simple on Nokia & the sound is very good, on the down side I find the hand set difficult to hold & the top row of keys do feel too cramped.

I will use it for a trial & hope I get use to it.

Despite other poor reviews here. I really like this phone. OK the camera isn't top of the range or maybe it is a little plasticy (is that a word? ), but the gps works well, great if you don't have sat nav.

The battery doesn't last very long. You will be lucky to get through 2 days will little use. But I hope to have eased this a bit by turning off the 3G coverage & packet data sending active (whatever that is! ). The slide action is neat & it's a bright clear & quite large screen.

In the Vodafone shop I would have only gone for a N95 over this & couldn't quite stretch my budget that far. I picked this one up on an upgrade for £45. It's a lot of phone for the money.

I love the way it says who is calling when the phone is ringing, although you need to be careful how you name people in your saved numbers! I would recommend this phone (I don't like Samsungs due to their poor reception, otherwise may have gone for a Tocco or the other new one). It's not as bad as some of the below reviews make out. Some people are just too fussy these days!

The phone has taken me a couple of weeks to get used to. It is very plasticy, the camera takes about 3 seconds before it decides to take the photo, the phone freezes if you don't exit every single application. All in all I am very disappointed & the phone will be on eBay this week.

Well I am very disappointed with this phone, I would not recommend it to anyone. The battey will not last two days on standby, it shuts down with no warning. 6 months only included on navigation, after that it is overpriced for the licencing costing more than a stand alone GPS unit.

I got my navigator, very fast in applications, doesn't hang up like other phones. GPS rocks & music is mind blowing. What more do we want on a phone.

Handling must be done with great care. I have planned to use it for another 30 months. Very happy with phone.

The number buttons are too fiddly, & there is nothing to separate them making manual dialling & texting a bit of a struggle. However, the biggest problem is the lack of iSync support. The phone is not even listed on the Nokia support pages.

Otherwise, pretty good.

Good points.
- Nice screen.
- Loads of Applications.
- High spec, mine came with 1GB card.
- Fast through menus.

Bad points.
- Rubbish signal.
- Tiny battery & signal indicators.
- When calling out it doesn't say who your calling straight away.

I think I am of the age where I am starting to lose grip on new tech mobiles. I think it looks smart & seems to have loads of features but some basic ones have disappeared. Likes good reception!

Well, I just get my 6210 on Vodafone contract. Phone feels very good in hand & so far I am quite satisfied, however, camera it is not as good as I expected to be for 3.2 mp, also you can't switch off that annoying sound of taking picture & also MP3 player when on speaker sounds like there is some static or something sometimes. Once it froze as well. Battery life could be better, but I have it only 4 days, so maybe it needs to reach its whole capacity after some recharging. GPS seems to be really good I like that. Display is fantastic & menu is really easy as well. There is no problem with synchro with PC. Overall I think it is a really good phone & I am looking forward to use it for next 18 months.

Got my handset on a Vodafone contract today. The modified Nokia software took a little getting used to, & the handset freezes if you don't select exit in every menu or application you visit. The Nokia maps & Google Maps applications are good, as is the Vodafone Travel kit software. However, I can't get the Sat Nav feature to work at all & the phone didn't come with a car kit & cradle as promised by Vodafone. The top row of the keyboard can be a little difficult to use when the phone is in the open position & the handset can feel a little clumsy if you're not quite holding it correctly or trying to text. It's a little too early to say too much about the phone but I feel a bit disappointed at this stage.
