Nokia 6151 3G Phone Review

The Nokia 6151 is an attractive 3G camera phone which comes in a black coloured casing with subtle chrome edging which surrounds the phones screen & keypad. The phone has a large keypad which is user friendly & a clear screen which provides a 262k colour display with a screen resolution of 128 x 160 pixels. The handset is a classic design & measures 108 x 47 x 19 mm with a total weigh of 98 grams. The Nokia 6151 is a pleasure to use & a joy to look at. The Nokia 6131 & Nokia 6136 are mobile phones with flip open mechanism but they both have a similar elegant design concept as the Nokia 6151. The 6151 comes with 30 Mbytes of built in memory & with an expansion slot which can expand the phones memory to up to 2 Gbytes. The user can use the MicroSD™ memory cards to expand the memory & the cards can be swapped without the user having to turn off the phone.

The phone comes with a quality 1.3 megapixel camera feature complete with a 4 x zoom feature. The user can use the camera feature in landscape mode & the clear coloured screen works well as the cameras viewfinder. The user can take pictures by using the dedicated camera key which is easy to access & enjoy capturing each & every picture in style. The Nokia 6151 has a video feature which allows the use to record, play & stream video footage. The user can play video clips in 3GPP, H263 & MPEG4 format. The 6151 allows the user to take still pictures & moving video clips with ease which can be stored & viewed on the users stylish phone.

The visual radio information is displayed on the phones screen & is provided by the radio station. The information can tell the user details on the song that is currently playing such as the name of the group or solo artist who performs the song, the title of the song & the name of the album. The user can use the music player to play their favourite tracks out loud & enjoy the quality sound provided on the Nokia 6251. The music player can play music in MP3, M4A & eAAC+ format. I have this phone for about 1 year, & so far so good.

Zero problems, nice features, good battery, but it's a pity not having video call. I'm very happy with this mobile phone.

I must have got a bad one because I have had to return it 3 times & it still doesn't work properly, cuts out & resets itself at random. I have given up using it as I just can't rely on it. 3 customer service not very impressive, have lost track of how many times they talked me through reset process to no avail & won't listen when I try & tell them, arrrgh.

I've had this phone for about a year now. Its design is really clean, nice for those lower level execs out there or whatever. Don't push it though. It can really bite back. Say, store about two thousand messages, fill you phone memory with photos & themes or whatever, plus use the optional external 1 GB memory card for all your music files, & what do you get? You get your whole internal memory wiped out, & it won't start anymore. Wave goodbye to those precious memories. Ha ha ha. Just a word of warning. That's the reason I am giving this mediocre rating. Lost a lot because of those issues.

Overall, a value buy for business people. Again, DON'T PUSH IT!

I have had this phone for over a year now & it's still working as well as the first day I took it out of the box. It's a well built phone, & gives you the feeling of a good solid body, which I can confirm. My phone has taken several falls after which I encountered no problems at all.

It's packed with features one would look for most in a phone, all of which work well & also lets you customise the display to your liking without giving you dodgy errors I have experienced with other phones in the past.

Over all it's an amazing phone, especially when considering its price. Highly recommended!

Decent phone, Will Do Most Jobs. Only Few Problems.

- Screen Should Have Been Slightly Bigger.
- 2 Mega Pixel Camera Should Have Been implemented.
- Push To Talk Should Be Free But I Say That For Every Phone :].

All in all, a good decent phone, not bad for the price.

Well Charlie in the UK, I DEMAND that you don't bother posting any more reviews, ever. At least not until you accept that you have either had a one off bad experience with the phone, or you realise that it's not the all singing, all dancing gadget you thought it was. Your review was not very useful. As for the phone it's good. Makes calls & sends texts as well as can be expected, battery is going to give you a good two or three days use & it feels solid enough. If you don't want a flashy mobile this one is good enough.

Nokia have released another good phone to their market. I think the design is a basic for Nokia, not too flash, & not too dull. Features are good, acceptable low range camera, ease of use. Overall, good, but not great.

Really taken by this phone, it looks really easy to work & has fantastic connectivity & technology but not too packed with technology that it will be a waste of my money. I will use all the features specified on the 6151 & it should be a fast operator with 3G, EDGE & Bluetooth technology, nice one Nokia. I will use the camera, instant messaging is a must as all my friends have instant messaging on their new phones, so we use it rather than mms now. I have not had visual radio before but it sounds cool & will be used along with the stereo fm radio. I will have to buy an micro SD card to boast up the memory by that won't be a problem. Sexy looking phone with nice neat features.
