My company bought the 6124 for all staff personnel, it is a great phone for work.
But our experience about quality of the 6124 body is not so good. We had a lot of problems with the back cover (it breaks easily), with the housing SIM (it is very difficult to insert & remove the SIM), & especially with the dust (the screen fills with dust).
We will buy Nokia again, but not this model.

Great connection, signal, 3G is excellent but if you want the battery to last more than a five minute conversation turn to GSM not dual mode. Message storage excellent & camera is fine. I can't read messages now because on S60 software the font is so tiny. Again, why do manufacturers lie through their teeth about standby & talk time? Its absolute rubbish what they say. I have gone back to an earlier Sony Ericsson, more reliable in battery time. Sorry Nokia, there's too much GPS, maps, Business Email rubbish that no one uses, so why not lessen off on the useless un connectable novelty apps & give us reliable but up-to-date technology? It might even improve battery usage.

Great phone! Easy to use, good design & a good price.

I really don't like this phone, it's heavy yet flimsy & scratches & breaks easily, the chrome style finishing around the edges peels off, looks filthy all the time because fingerprints stick to it, dust & dirt get under the cover like nobody's business, the keys are difficult to press & crack & stick, the camera is completely underwhelming, the battery life is dismal, making your way through the menus is incredibly long winded, it's just so basic & pointless. I've put up with it for 6 months but enough's enough, it's being recycled very soon.

I've used it for two months & now I am swapping back to my 6300. Here's a list of features the 6124 (really S60 software) has over the 6300 (really S40 software).
- No countdown timer.
- No stopwatch.
- Non adjustable snooze time in Alarm clock.
- Non scientific calculator.
- No sent or received message counter.
- No timed profiles.
- No easy currency convert.
- No GO TO menu, so limited shortcut buttons.
- Can't press green button in an SMS to call that person.
- Image viewer doesn't allow you to view next image easily or view full screen.
- When you have to choose a file it lists EVERY file on the device with no folder structure.
- Contact search brings up everyone with that letter in their name, just the first letter.
- Really small contact picture appears when people call.
- Really small contact picture in contact search.
- No full screen wallpaper.
- Calendar doesn't auto delete.
- Calendar doesn't work out birthday age.
As for the handset, it attracts fingerprints & the screen is more easily scratched. However, the loudspeaker is really loud, great for kids at bus stops.
