Nokia 6060 Review

The Nokia 6060 is a very stylish & compact mobile phone which comes in a choice of silver or black coloured casing & both are highly attractive. The 6060 has a flip open mechanism which can be opened very smoothly in the user one hand. The 6060 has been marketed at the middle to lower end of the market users & is not full of features that may not be desired by the user. The Nokia 6060 is similar looking to the Nokia 6103 but the 6103 has a higher specification which includes a dual colour screens, Bluetooth® & a VGA camera.

The 6060 comes with a 65k colour screen (160 x 128 pixels) which is perfect for displaying messages, games, screensavers & wallpapers. The screen provides a good quality display which is very bright & clear.

The phone comes with great messaging services which include text messaging (SMS), multimedia messaging (MMS), instant messaging & email. The user can send & receive MMS messages freely to any MMS compatible phone. The MMS service allows the user to send one message complete with text, sound & images which is very easy to create. The user can send an instant message very easily with the Nokia 6060 & the user can check the status of their desired contact prior to sending them an instant message.

The phonebook comes with up to five hundred contact entries & the calendar feature comes with the option to view the calendar by day, week or month. The expense manager feature allows the user to keep a close eye on their finances & budget their personal spending.

The phone comes with Java™ embedded games & the user is free to download many more games of their choice.

The user can really manage their calls with all the built in features which include last number redial, speed dialling, automatic redial, call waiting, call hold, call divert & call timer. The 1st thing I bought with my 1st salary, this phone just stole my heart! I got it just 5 days back. Amazing music, clarity as well as loudness, it's the perfect tool to surf the net. What differentiates it from others is that its 16 million colours, same as the Nokia N95. The only drawback along with the small C key is the 4X zoom which is a bit less while clicking pics, but then again, you win some, you lose some. For the price it's the best buy on the market. Only the N95 beats it. Enjoy.

I love Nokia & I loved the 6060. It has no Camera, No Bluetooth & No Player. Also it is very basic & has limited features. & that is exactly what I am looking for. I don't need all these features because I have a camera & MP3 player. I just need a phone that works well & is quite cheap. 6060 is just that.

The Nokia 6060 is a very neat & basic fone but the only doubts about the fone are that it dose not have "Bluetooth, Camera & Inferred".

Well I love nokia phones, they are much better looking than those brick-like sony ericssons & although not as stylish as LGs, quite nice. I had a nokia 3100 previously, however accidentally put it in the washing machine :( (It actually did survive: most nokias do, but the backlit screen was ruined so I wanted another one) & a note to camera phone lovers: WHY? Seriously, even top of the market cam phones have poor pic quality when it all comes down to it. For god's sake, buy a CAMERA.

6060 is very masculine looking phone & about time rather than all those pink phones that have been on the market recently. Keys look very slim & subtle & I hope they are good for texting. Light affects will bring a bit of colour to this phone, love the look, feature seem great & not over swamped with too many features I will never use. Have heard that Nokia phones are not the most attractive phones but they are very reliable & that is what I need after my Siemens phone cut out in the middle of calls, that's another story.

This looks like a decent flip phone with some good features. It looks like it will do the job & be at a good price. All my family are Nokia crazy as they are the only phones that offer what they say they will offer & they work very well. I do get attracted to the Moto adverts for the appearance but hey who doesn't. I may see the 6060 very soon as I like the flip opening, like the keys - very nice, good looking cover & simple to operate.

I love this phone & will be getting it as it has no camera, no video & no music player. I am so fed up with having too many features that I never get time to use or enjoy, so therefore my next phone must be basic & have some good organising tools. The screen is a nice size & comes in colour which is good. I like the flip phones but have always had an external screen so I am not sure how you get to see who is calling. I suppose you have to cancel or accept a call when the phone is in the open position, which should be fine as long as I can cancel the calls I do not wish to take. I would like this phone in the silver colour but hope the cover does not get easily scratch.

Would like to see how smooth the flip action is on this phone, like the flip idea but the last 2 phones I have used have caused me problems. I would like this phone as long as it is in my price range, cheap please, student say no more. Luv Nokia, Luv 6060.

Neat fone, basic is best... Nokia have done it again. The price must be right with this one! I think it will come in at a decent price as it is low on features & that will be great for me. The fone looks very chunky & it must come in black coloured cover for me. Black will add to its rather chunky & solid look.
