This is a good looking phone, it has good screen & has great games, it can play youtube videos by streaming. But it has a bad keypad, its camera features is not good enough for clear photos & videos & sometimes when I download over 1MB games & I open it, it says its too large to save folder or out of memory, I am sick of that & I hate it's sound quality on 3GP videos when I connect my earphone it is more slow & its life tools application that I never use because Im not a farmer but it's long battery & slim & comfortable design makes it a good looking phone.

Positives.
- It looks nice, slim'ish & fairly light, but doesn't feel flimsy.
Negatives.
- I miss the volume buttons I had up the side of my 6070 (didn't realise how much I used them)!
- The keypad is pretty fiddly, the numbers are not that well defined & are quite small considering the overall size of the phone which although slimmer is actually slightly longer than my old 6070.
- There's not much in the box. The headphones feel like plastic tat (they are uncomfortable). I am not sure if normal headphones will work. They could have chucked in a USB cable.
Anyway I've only just got it on Tesco Mobile Pay as you go so I'll add any more gripes or positives once I find them.
It's OK I suppose, but I guess in the 6 or so years since I got my last phone I just expected it to be a bit more impressive.
Overall just a bit disappointed.

I think it is a very good phone. But I would like it to have more to do with music on it. & to have a nicer back of the phone. Other than that, a very good phone!

EACH & EVERY FEATURES OF THIS MOBILE ARE GOOD. ONE GREAT DRAW BACK OF THIS MOBILE IS ITS SPEAKER AT the BACK OF the MOBILE, AS A RESULT SOUND can't BE HEARD PROPERLY.

Hello, people out there! Why are you people comparing this phone with other models like iPhone! Just give a review on this phone only! Don't give negative comments!
This phone has a good music player function & it differs from each country. This phone has its own limitation as it is a budget model! OK.

Hi Guys, Honestly, before you buy a phone, you need to know what you are buying the phone for.
This phone is best made for people looking for a low budget phone, but with quite good display, easy SMS features, radio & good music player.
All these features makes Nokia 2700 Classic the best phone around. Me, I bought this phone for text, talk & radio which fits the bill perfectly. I even find this phone easier & simpler to use compared to my previous Samsung & Nokia Smartphone's.
So ignore the negative comments because they expected what the phone cannot offer.
Go ahead, make your mind up & buy the phone which suits your need.

I have two of these phones (one for my wife). Both phones work brilliantly & have not given any problems. The 2 megapixel camera is fine with plenty of controls. As long as you remember it is 2 not 5 megapixel. It takes good photos. Basic video at 15fps is available & is fine for most things but jerkier than the more expensive phones with higher frame rates. Transmission & reception quality is good, it holds a signal really well even in areas of weak signal strength. Plenty of volume is available for ringtones etc. In fact, the really good thing about this phone is its settings. There are plenty of them to allow you to customise the phone to just how you like it. Hooking up to the net is easy & you can get your POP3 email OK. Screen is too small for constant Internet use though, but occasional browsing & email are fine. Both the radio & MP3 player are brilliant to use. The standard headset is fine for most people. Battery life is good even with heavy use I have found. In all, this phone is a revelation & I cannot recommend the 2700 enough. & I am a fussy, demanding person when it comes to mobile phones.

I bought this phone for the transition state from Sony Ericsson K750i to iPhone. (I haven't had enough money to buy an iPhone but also wanted to change the K750i as it is quite thick, but K750i is sure a great phone).
Nokia 2700 classic is a decent phone for the money it costs, but the speaker gets cracked easily.
I am a Mac user & Nokia doesn't seem care about the Mac users. As you may already know, Nokia PC Suite almost supports all the Nokia phones that have the ability to connect to the PCs.
But for the Mac side, especially low end phones like Nokia 2700 classic, there are always lack of iSync plug ins, support for Nokia Multimedia Transfer, etc. I think a company claiming itself to be the leader in the mobile phone market should always be considerate towards its wide range of users.
Using the phone for a week, I think Nokia S40 UI isn't as user friendly as the Sony Ericsson A200.
I thought I've made a wrong decision. I think Sony Ericsson Naite would be better than this phone.
It is sad that Sony Ericsson doesn't offer phones as cheap as Nokia, & that's why I bought this 2700 classic for the transition state from Sony Erisson K750i to iPhone.

Hi, I feel that it's worth purchasing, it's the best one in its price range, & I have read others reviews & I feel that they said correct.
I like:
- Low price
- Supports external applications, you can download & install.
- PDF reader application can be installed.
- Opera mini, face book, ovi, maps,.
I don't like:
- Camera picture colour quality is not good.
- Maps need link up with other GPS device
- Earphones & speakers.
- WORST KEYPAD.
- No brightness adjustments, even in camera.
- Data cable.
Here my request to manufactures, please add a minimise option for applications, as Sony Ericsson phones have.
Friends at this price range its superb phone, you can't EXPECT MORE for the amount you PAID.
I give it 9 out of 10. Samsung Metro not compatible for applications.

My gripes after a frustrating few weeks of ownership.
The keypad is absolutely awful & is actually the main reason why I am giving this phone such a low rating. Typing a text message is a near traumatic experience, & you frequently end up with complete gobbledygook. If you use a phone for texting & calling, then the keypad is of fundamental importance. I don't know what Nokia were thinking when they designed this rubberised mono pad which can't distinguish each key easily.
The phone looks nice but is deceptive, very lightweight & it is not the most intuitive system. The camera for example does not have a dedicated button & so you have to set up your shortcuts if you want to access it directly.
The games make a real racket & you can't turn the sound down either.
It is cheap yes but still not worth the money. Better to spend a bit more & get a phone with a much better keypad.

I bought my Nokia 2700 classic handset in August 2009. Voice quality problems started rather soon after purchase. There was slight scratching & broken voice in both incoming & out coming calls. The phone also felt hot in the pocket at times, obviously when it contacted the network. Then memory card holder broke & I took the phone back to dealer. First service round took four weeks after which, memory card holder was repaired but voice quality problems continued. I sent the phone to service again, after another two weeks in service it was exactly as before, they just had updated the software, which they already did in the first round. After third service round & in total 10 weeks without a phone I paid for, Nokia swapped my phone to a new one. I talked to warranty department in Finland & they did not take any responsibility just quoting the service matters being service internal issue & not offering any compensation for the unjustified long service time & poor customer service. I was happy with my replacement phone one evening, then its display went white & after removing battery it was stone dead. Back to the dealer & fourth service round, this time lasting two weeks only. I received my third Nokia 2700 classic today, warranty department does not answer my call requests any more. Hope the quality has experienced a quantum leap between my second & third phone but am afraid the farce will go on. You can probably independently decide whether the phone is worth buying, I cannot recommend it much.

It's a basic talk only phone with a big 252, 000 cool screen, talk only phone.
Pros.
- VERY stylish.
- Good battery.
- Ovi mail.
- Very good for farmers.
- Ovi connect.
- Clear voice & mic.
Cons.
- Bad camera (no auto focus), no ISO setting no exposure control.
- Very bad earphones.
- Very low resolution screen, so even though the screen is big you can't watch movies.
- Maximum micro SD card size is 2GB (Samsung metro is 8GB).
- the speaker is muffled & not clear.
This one is bad. No match for Samsung metro 3310, the only point where it scores over the metro is a good battery. The bundled earphone is bad. Delete Photo. Gives below standard music. Hurray it has Nokia maps. But it won't work without the coupling of an additional accessory of the Nokia GPS device which costs additional 5000 rs or 100$. You can't download Google maps & install it in your mobile, because it won't work on your S40 device. 90% of the symbian applications won't work on your phone system. So basically you are just stuck with a good looking phone. Take care.
Bad keypad (not durable keypad), Samsung is 16m colours Nokia only 262, 000 cool, & its key pad seems better, just match the two specifications you will see the huge diff.
The size is huge. You won't feel like watching any movie in the video player. Due to lack of resolution. No data cable. Bad earphones. The menu systems, organiser & over layout is good you can synchronise outlook OVI mail & a lot other applications. Games are good. Speaker phone bad & muffled. It has Nokia life tools, I think I bought a farmers phone by mistake. It has a lot of tools which are extremely helpful to farmers. The ring tones are so low that you can't hear it, if on street or away from handset. They have given bad speakers. True for its brother 6303.
Overall looks 6 to 7 out of 10.
Value for money 6 out of 10.
Basically a talking phone, the battery really lasts 3 to 4 days
Don't expect much for the Samsung metro. My suggestion is if you don't mind charging battery every 1 to 2 days go for Samsung metro. When I went to the mobile store the Samsung metro was all sold out, was waiting for a long time finally bought this, if you don't get the metro in the shop go for LG GM200
This one is just for talking.

This is the best mobile in its price range. The only negative is flat keypad, & FM radio reception not that good.
But the positives in this mobile.
- Very pocket friendly.
- Music quality very good, the bundled earphones are bad though.
- Camera quality has increased than previous Nokia 2MP mobiles.
- Menu view user interface is much better now
