Nokia 2652 Review

The Nokia 2652 is a totally cool & smooth mobile phone which comes with a very elegant fold opening mechanism. The phone comes in a choice of three colours which include a white, black & silver coloured casing. The white coloured casing comes with a very elegant "fleur" motifs embedded into the design. The black & silver coloured casing comes with a "cell" motif embedded into the design & all the colours are very effective. The Nokia 2652 is an upgrade of the Nokia 2650 & both phones have the very useable & very smooth fold open mechanism which works beautiful.

The phone comes with a 4096 colour screen (128 x 128 pixels) which provides the user with the perfect display for all of those messages, games, screensavers & wallpapers.

The Nokia 2652 comes complete with excellent messaging facilities which include multimedia message service (MMS) & text messaging service (SMS). The MMS service allows the user to send text, images & MIDI audio file sound in one very easy to create message. The MMS message can be sent & receive to any MMS compatible device. The phone comes with extra message storage in the 2652 which can save up to fifty messages. The phone comes with a LED alert that will indicate to the user that there is a message delivered or a call coming in. The user can use the vCard feature to send business cards via MMS to arrange a meeting. The vCalendar feature allows the user to schedule meetings, allocate free time & designate time when the user will be busy.

The 2652 comes complete with polyphonic ringtones which have up to four chords. The user can select different tones which can be used as a ringtone or as an alerts. The user can download Java™ games for a perfect gaming experience on the Nokia 2652.

The user can arrange their calendar very easily with the built in enhanced calendar which will ensure that the user will never miss one of those all important dates. The phone has a calculator, converter & an alarm clock feature which are very useful for day to day living.

The Nokia 2652 offers the user many call related options which include vibration alert, automatic volume control, automatic key guard, call timer, speed dialling for up to eight contacts, last number redial from dialled calls list, automatic redial up to ten attempts, automatic answer which works with the headset only, call waiting, call hold & call divert.

Having had a 6230 for quite a long time I was not looking forward to changing to a lesser spec, However as I own a Peugeot with built in telephone, being able to access the SIM card without having to dismantle the phone was essential - & accessing the SIM is easy! I realise how little I used the full facilities on the 6230 & the 2652 fits the bill for my needs - the 'flip' is excellent. I have the white one but am changing to the black - not keen on the 'pearlised white' !!

I have the 2650 & I am very keen to get the 2652. Love the opening method oo this phone & the design is very appealing. I have heard loads of people grumbling about the 2650 & I have been very happy with mine. I am looking 4ward to getting my hands on the 2652 & want the fleur motif.

Fab looking mobile. Like the sound of the features incorporated in this phone. I am a low usage user so do not require too many technical additions that I will never use. This mobile sounds perfect with no camera, no music player etc. I think the flashing light will be beneficial so I can easily see when a text message arrives & when an incoming call hits my mobile. Will be getting this phone, I prefer the white colour cover.

I am not interested in this model of phone if it is anything like the Nokia 2650 as my 2650 died after I had it for 4 weeks. I would go for a higher spec Nokia or another manufacture. My girlfriend had the 2650 & had no problems with it at all & I believe she is interested in this phone, so I will get her to have a look at this site.

Like the keys on this phone & the opening system is tops. I am going to get this phone in the near future & will return to do a full review but I would like to say the design is fun & the very unique opening is the best I have seen for a long time. I have not been taken by any of the other flip phones out there at the moment but this has something different - style.

What a beautiful phone with the motif idea that is superb & totally different from anything I have seen before. I am pleased it has GPRS browser function as I have been told it works well on other phones. I use text messaging & MMS on a regular basis so I am pleased the phone offers me these facilitities. The enhanced calendar sounds perfect for me as my phone needs to act as my personal diary. I like the idea of having a phone book with images & that could be good fun as I have never seen or used a phone book with images before. A very good phone in a beautiful design & I really would like it.
