I bought this to save carrying around my company phone which is a HTC & is a real house brick of a phone I bought it with a £10.00 top up for less than £20.00.
I was going to Australia on holiday & wanted to use an ausie sim so I got it unlocked, it worked perfectly over there, in fact on switch on prior to my getting the ausie SIM I was hit by 2 of the mobile companies there offering me airtime to call home.
Virgin who it was with was very heavy on cost so with it unlocked I have switched over to Asda pay as you go I find it sufficient for my use as all I do in any event is text & phone (thats what a phone is for after all).

The handset is not very good when it comes to features factors. But yes when we compare price of the gadget equipped phones with all the features, I really find this handset very suitable.

If you are looking for a good, straight forward & smart phone on a budget then this is just the ticket. There are a reasonable number of features but you get what you pay for these days. (Paid £32 all in). I've had the Nokia 3 weeks now & it does all the basics well. The phone picks up a signal in areas where my old one didn't & has an easily readable screen. The buttons have a solid feel & are separate rather than sensor touch. Battery life is great. Minimal usage gave me 20 days on the first charge! (This included turning it off at night).
Navigation is easy peasy but if you have big thumbs like me then you can press both the navi button as well as the central select one as they are quite close. Upside is that being compact & slim it can fit in any pocket. The hands free speaker is great & has good sound quality. The camera is just about OK, but hey, if you want good pictures then use a proper camera! It's smart, ergonomic, cheap & solid.

OK, I bought this to replace an aging Nokia 1110. Although I work in a high tech field, for me a phone is a phone & I just want a reliable way to make calls & text (& not worry if my young son trashes it! ). Virgin had an offer on whereby I paid under £20 for the phone including a £10 top up. Figure that I can recycle my old phone at Tesco for £12 (in Tesco points) & I've made money out of the deal.
Anyway, I can't criticise the phone, small form factor & light weight I've found it quick to charge & offer over one week of standby time. Intuitive menu & bright screen make it user friendly & the backlit keypad is useful. Non glossy keys would make it easier still but that's a minor quibble really. Camera & radio are touches that I don't need but nice none the less. Case is plasticy but then the phone lives in my pocket & gets scratched anyhow. At least they include 2 cases with it! Apart from that, reception is good, voices are clear & it does what it does very well indeed. Yes, scrolling through the menu's etc. Shows a little lag but nothing you don't get used to. For a basic mobile, this is as good as it gets & in my opinion better than most phones in the sub £80 bracket.

I have found this phone to be pretty good for everything I have needed to use it for so far. The back light goes off in 15 seconds flat, so hurry, because when it's gone you punch something to bring it back on it changes channels on you. Ha! Can't figure out how to add to the back light time, I think it is factory set, no change. HELP if you know a way to change it let me know. Steve.

A mid range Nokia candy bar phone that although is primarily an entry level model it does have good Bluetooth capability & everything that should be on a modern phone without being in the Smartphone range.
There's decent speaker & hands-free volume & the contacts list can be large. The camera is only VGA but for me it's enough for the odd snap & the phone's memory is 10 megabytes. I bought this model from Virgin branded with their software & Bites links, & when you strip it of the dreadful Nokia wallpapers & introductory videos you end up with about 8 MB of space to use. More than enough for lots of photos at best quality usually coming out at around 50 to 90 kb.
I gave only 65% for usability because although talking & texting is perfect, it suffers from what most mobile manufacturers fail to be honest about, namely battery life. If you go online with any WAP or 3G phone (this range or Smartphones) they eat up battery life in minutes. But the email setup is the easiest it's ever been, enter your user name & password & tell it what yahoo or hotmail you use, & it works in seconds.
The best feature about this range of N-Series 40 with medium & large text font. Useful for anyone over forty that wears reading glasses & forgets to take them to work.

Great, stylish phone at an amazing price. Got it for Rs 3100. I have been using it for the past two weeks & no problems yet. Only a VGA camera but picture quality is above average & is better than many other basic phones. Battery lasted for more than three days with couple of hours calling. Only has 10 MB memory. No memory card slot. Sound quality is good but the volume is little bit low. It has Bluetooth also.
Overall great phone. After all what more can you expect for such a price. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone who wants a stylish basic phone with a camera & Bluetooth.
