This phone is useless. You can't upload the photos, the buttons are hard, & the menus are slow to access. Texting is too complicated, the phone is rubbish. A complete waste of 60 Euros. I will NEVER buy a Nokia again, because of this phone.
I only bought it because I wanted to upload the photos on to my PC. Nokia should offer the unwary buyer their money back, or a credit note at least. Does anyone know if it can upload photos to PC. There is a company in Poland that sells the USB cable & software, but I have been told that it won't work.

If I buy another phone with Bluetooth & put my old SIM card in can I then download my video clips from my Nokia SIM card or is there a way of downloading my video clips from my Nokia 1680 classic to the Internet? Many thanks.

Worst Nokia I have owned. No volume control, I had to Google to discover the navigation ring (left & right) adjusts volume & you would have to lift from your face to do that. Texting is murder with the hard touch pad & slow menu response. I only need the basics & here it fails dismally compared to any of my previous Nokia's (8810, 8210, 6510, 6230). Where are the days of simple fast phones? Forget cameras, colour screens, java & ridiculous menus? Perhaps I should just replace the failing battery on my 5 year old 6230. Sigh.

Bad news I am afraid. This phone is beautiful to look at & to carry & comes at a very attractive price. It also features a camera but beware the sound quality is so poor that making calls is a difficult & frustrating experience. I shall return this phone to the shop & buy either a more expensive phone or a cheaper basic one. You have been warned.

I've held the display unit in the Nokia store & the phone looked great. But the unit I got have a hard touch keypad. I could get used to that, but there were other disappointing stuff about this phone. Sound quality is not good, even if the volume is loud. Maximum volume on the speakerphone is also not loud enough. Interface is rather slow.
The phone appearance is good & the camera is impressive. But with the text & call flaws, I sure hoped I hadn't bought this phone.

This typical of any Nokia, great build quality, easy menu system. However, web users beware, this phone contains a browser bug that cannot be fixed (version 05.61, phone bought Nov 2008).
The phone is a stripped down version of other Nokia's & has no Bluetooth, & cannot be updated via USB (note that Nokia do not supply a USB cable for this phone, because the phone cannot be updated using Nokia Software Update). Do not buy a cable yourself, you will be wasting your money.
Compared to other Nokia's I have owned, this was expensive for the money. I'd recommend either spending another £20 or so & getting a Bluetooth & USB enabled phone & browser that works, or going for a really cheap option like the no-frills Nokia 2610, which you can get for around £10 on the high street.

Absolutely awful sound quality, much worse than my trusty cheap phone but lovely little Nokia 1110 which my son put in the washing machine, but still works though with a weak display!
