Overview
The Nokia X6 16GB is a fabulous looking Smartphone complete with a huge selection of features & high speed capabilities, just waiting to be enjoyed by its new owner. The X6 16GB is from the same Nokia range as the Nokia X6 but these handset differ in memory capabilities & handset colours so the choice is yours, but with regards to style & design these handset are from the same high quality mould. The Nokia X6 16GB supports the very popular Symbian 9.4 operating system complete with series S60 5th edition software. Its main features include a high quality 5 megapixel camera, user friendly music player, Web browser, A GPS navigation feature, Wi-Fi® technology, 16 gigabytes of internal memory plus the user can enjoy up to 11.5 hours of GSM talk time from a fully charged battery. Its casing has a sleek touch screen form which is ideal for both carrying & usability purposes. The X6 16GB is a truly gorgeous handset which allows its user to communicate with their friends & family in style.

Appearance & Size
This outstanding looking phone is available in a white coloured casing with either yellow sections or pink coloured sections, or the user may prefer a black colour casing complete with black coloured sections for a truly sleek appearance. The Nokia X6 16GB has a well proportioned touch screen style casing which measures 11.1cm tall by 5.1cm wide by 1.38cm deep when in its upright position which feels good to hold in the users single hand during use. It weighs one hundred & twenty two grams including its battery which gives the casing a high quality & solid feel. Its touch screen is a good size which measures 3.2 inches when measured diagonally & this screen almost fills the front section of the casing. This touch screen displays up to 16.7 million colours & has a 640 pixel by 360 pixel screen resolution. The user can enjoy easy to manage touch screen controls on their X6 16GB & this Smartphone supports an onscreen QWERTY keyboard when the user wishes to input text at high speeds. Above the touch screen is the phones earpiece & below the touch screen the user will find well positioned call keys allowing the user to accept & end calls with ease.

Imaging, Media & Entertainment
There is an integrated five megapixel digital camera feature which comes with a range of useful imaging features plus it supports high quality video capturing capabilities. The camera has Carl Zeiss optics & comes with a dual LED flash, automatic focus feature, digital zoom & many photo & video enhancing settings. The Nokia X6 16GB comes with a flash mode selection setting, scene mode settings & a capture mode setting which allows the user to capture their desired photo by simply changing the settings to suit their imaging needs. The user can record video footage at up to thirty frames per second & enjoy a video zoom function whilst recording. When playing videos on the Nokia X6 16GB the user can turn their handset to enjoy a wide screen viewing experience when the handset is in its horizontal viewing mode. It music feature comes with a wide variety of functions allowing the user to hear, view, store, access & manage their music perfectly on the X6 16GB. The player supports music playback in many formats including MP3, Midi, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA & AAC music formats. It comes with an album art cover display, a built in graphic equaliser, an easily accessible playlist option & the user can enhance the bass sound using the bass booster. The user can experience up to 35 hours of music playing time from a fully charged battery on their Nokia X6 16GB, which turns this Smartphone into a portable music device. There is a built in radio which allows the user to tune into their preferred radio station for new music as well as informative information such as news & weather updates. The X6 16GB comes with preinstalled games which include Spore, Asphalt 4 & D Mix Tour games or the user can easily download more games to suit their gaming style. This Smartphone supports many types of ringtone formats which include 3D stereo, MP3, video & polyphonic format ringtones. There is an integrated microphone which allows the user to make sound or voice recordings on their new Smartphone.

Communication & Messaging
The user can access their contacts details in the phonebook which includes information on each contacts & the user can update this information easily. The Nokia X6 16GB has a call log which stores a list of calls made, received & missed on the handset allowing the user to access these contact numbers if required. There is an automatic redial feature which makes communicating an easier task for the user, & the user can enjoy call features which include a speaker phone call or a conference type call if needed. The user can have a video call on the Nokia X6 16GB as there is a front facing camera which allows the user to take part in a face to face call experience with other 3G video calling contacts. The X6 16GB supports & email service complete with email attachments, which is ideal for users that are away from their computer for a long length of time as emails can be shared when the user is on the move. It comes with an audio messaging service allowing the user to share sound, music or voice recording with compatible messaging contacts. The multimedia messaging service allows the user to share messages with a photo or video complete with sound & text to other MMS contacts. The Nokia X6 16GB also supports an instant messaging service which is an online service & a text message service allows the user to share text communication using an easy to create message.

Technology & Internet
The X6 16GB comes with sixteen gigabytes of internal memory. This touch screen Smartphone comes with a user friendly A GPS navigation feature which supports an Ovi maps version 3.0. Its WLAN Wi-Fi® capabilities allow the user to gain a connection to the Web via a wireless LAN or nearby hotspot therefore the user will not need cables or wires when connecting their Smartphone to the Web. The user can connect the Nokia X6 16GB to other devices using Bluetooth® wireless technology or by inserting a compatible USB cable to each device therefore gaining a cabled connection. The Nokia X6 16GB is a 3G HSDPA capable & a HSCSD technology Smartphone, which allows the user to gain high speed connectivity. Its fully charged battery will provide approximately 6 hours of 3G talk time or approximately 11.5 hours of GSM talk time depending on other features being used on the Smartphone during this time. I HAVE HAD MY PHONE FOR FOUR MONTHS NOW WITH A CONTRACT WITH O2. FEW PROBLEMS WITH the PHONE SOFTWEAR & the MOST RECENT WAS the HAIR LINED CRACKS WHICH APPEARED WHILST the PHONE WAS CONNECTED TO the PC. 02 WERE CONTACTED, THEY WERE NOT INTERESTED AT ALL. THIS PHONE HAS NEVER BEEN IN BACK POCKETS. I HAVE TO PROVE THAT IT WAS A MANUFACTURING FAULT!

HAS anyone ELSE HAD SIMILAR PROBLEMS?

They said that 5800xm is an iPhone killer, I say that this unit is the real iPhone killer, I have been changing units from Nokia 5530 to 5800xm to Nokia E63, Nokia E71, Nokia E75, before my upgrade I have a Nokia N95 8GB an nothing beats that phone in terms of usability, until I found Nokia X6. I am glad I chose this over a BlackBerry.

This unit is totally awesome & will be much appreciated by those who are so much into media =).

I recently upgraded to this phone but after using it for a couple of days I have decided to send it back for an exchange for another handset.

On first impressions I thought the Nokia X6 was a good size, quite light & looks good. However when I turned it on I was disappointed with the graphics, they looked quite cheap especially in comparison to the graphics on my husband's LG BL40 Chocolate.

I found on using it that the touch screen is not very responsive, sometimes I have to touch the area several times before it does what I want it to & sometimes it freezes for ages before doing anything. I am used to my husband's phone which is mega responsive & doesn't freeze.

Maybe I have a faulty phone or maybe this is normal for the X6? I don't know but this just isn't for me at all & I can't really recommend it as a handset especially when there are so many other good touch screen phones out there.

I can not fault this phone. Everything works fantastic. My brother has a iPhone & you can not compare.

The x6 is a better camera, the x6 is quicker on the Internet, the x6 speakers are better, the x6 looks a lot better & cheaper, I can go on & on.

I am fed up with all these people going on about the iPhone. The iPhone is for people who can't make up their own mind, TRUST ME THIS IS BY FAR A BETTER PHONE.

Had it a week & the screen smashed. Shame, because it is a great little phone. Fell out of love with my N70 a few years ago, so was rather dubious of what to expect going back to Nokia after years with Sony Ericsson.

Simple to use, decent enough camera & great little applications, just a pity about the screen. Oh & someone at Vodafone decided to put Gavin & Stacy on it. Waste of memory.

This is a very good phone. I have had it for a couple of weeks now. My last phone was a BlackBerry & before that I was always a Samsung girl!

Having a Nokia is a big change for me. I am very impressed with it so far.

The responsiveness of the touch screen is very good & therefore is very user friendly. It responds to the very lightest of touches & doesn't go flying up & down like other touch screens I have sampled! It is very easy to text on the touch screen & you don't have to press very hard.

The screen also flips between horizontal & vertical on turning the phone very quickly, it senses how you are holding the phone.

The camera is very good with 5MP & is again very easy to use.

I have added several music albums to my phone & the music playback is of very good quality, there are two speakers on the back of the phone which produce excellent sound.

There is a handy screen lock key at the right side of the phone to prevent you using the phone in your bag etc.

Overall I am very impressed with this phone & have found no fault as yet!
