Our Nokia N500 Review

This is a compact & fashionable looking 3G touch screen Smartphone which comes with changeable back covers, allowing you to show your style using colour. The colour options include black, white, coral red, azure blue, orange, khaki, purple & two changeable covers are included with each handset. The front of the handset has an impressive 3.2 inch touch screen which provides a clear display, as well as providing you with useable touch activated controls, as the screen will display a keypad, keyboard & provided smooth touch controls to all the phones features. It has Symbian Anna operating system with a stunning user interface, plus you can store as much data as you like using the built in memory or extend this memory further by adding a compatible memory card. Its lightweight & compact design make it an easy phone to use & to store as it only weighs 93 grams & measures approximately 11.2cm by 5.4cm by 1.4cm. Cool, fun, sophisticated & practical are words that best describe this phones features, design & capabilities.

There is a built in camera lens which supports still photo capturing & moving video recording. This phone comes with loads of easy to use imaging features & settings to assist you when capturing a photo or recording a video. The camera has a 5 megapixel lens, plus due to the phones touch screen design, you can enjoy the use of a touch screen viewfinder. Games & music can be enjoyed for entertainment on this handset & all are operated using the touch screen. Games are realistic & fun plus you can download games to suit your preference. Music can be enjoyed using the built in music player, via the Internet radio or by accessing the integrated FM radio, plus music & sound can be heard through the speakers & a fully charged battery allows an estimated 35 hours of music playing time.

Accessing your favourite social network website is easy as you can access them via the Web browser or simply use the built in application to check out Twitter® or update Facebook®. This Smartphone makes staying in touch with others easy as it comes with many call features which include a speed dial option, speaker phone call, conference calling capabilities, smart dial & a call log which stores a record of caller & number dialled, received or missed on the Smartphone. In your contacts, you can store multiple numbers & email addresses per contacts, plus add a photo, image or short video of your contact to their details. Another way to stay in touch & communicate with friends is using the phones messaging services which include text messaging with a superb conversation layout, instant online messaging, email or multimedia messaging which is ideal for photo & video sharing.

This Smartphone support 3G HSDPA & HSUPA technology & when used over a 3G network you can expect to gain approximately 5 hours of talk time or 455 hours of battery standby from a fully charged battery. The phone also works over quad band GSM networks & will provide a slightly longer amount of talk time & standby time when used over these network bands. The battery is fully rechargeable using the power adapter provided with the phones start up kit. You can connect your phone to other devices using either a micro USB port with the cable provided with your phone, or by using Bluetooth® wireless technology to connect your phone to another device which is within ten metres apart form your handset. This phone also support Wi-Fi® technology as well as assisted GPS allowing the user to enjoy a Nokia Maps with a car or pedestrian navigation view to your next destination.
