Overview
A classic designed casing with amazing Smartphone capabilities makes the Nokia C5 a truly desirable handset. This 3G Smartphone delivers sophisticated compact design complete with straightforward features & usability. The C5 supports a Symbian 9.3 operating system with series S60 3rd edition software & has a user friendly interface. Its user can enjoy high quality communication features as well as a varied selection of integrated entertainment features such as a 3.2 megapixel camera feature, music player, video player, Internet access & A GPS navigation with Ovi map support.

Appearance & Size
The Nokia C5 has a stylish stainless steel casing which brings a superior overall appearance to this Smartphone. Its high quality designed casing has a classic & solid form body, which makes this handset easy to both hold & use. It weighs 89.5 grams with the fitted battery which is a good weight when held in the user's single hand & its measures 11.2cm high by 4.6cm wide by 1.23cm deep which feels a comfortable size whilst operating. The keypad layout & screen positioning makes this an easy Smartphone to control & use. The screen is located at the top section of the handset with its keypad & navigation controls neatly located beneath. Its screen measures 2.2 inches in size & provides a 16.7 million colour display. Its navigation key provide the user with a five way control allowing the user to access & control their Smartphone using simplistic & responsive controls. This striking looking Smartphone is available in a white coloured casing or a warm grey colour. Its white colour option is mainly coloured white with light grey accents emphasizing the battery cover, navigation key & control keys plus this colour option has subtle chrome effect edging. Whereas the warm grey colour option is mainly coloured dark grey complete with pale grey accents & gunmetal effect edging.


Imaging, Media & Entertainment
This superior & classic style Smartphone supports an array of easy to use imaging, media & entertainment features. There is a front facing camera lens which allows the user to take part in two way 3G video calls & capture self portrait style photos if required. This camera is not the main camera but provides a VGA capturing experience with easy to use controls. When using the video calling feature the user can enjoy up to approximately three & a half hours of video calling time from a fully charged battery. The main camera has a rear facing lens which is beautifully built into the C5's casing & the user can capturing still photos or video recordings using this 3.2 megapixel camera. This camera comes with a large assortment of settings & capabilities which will ensure the user gains the perfect capture. There is a built in LED flash, an automatic focus feature & a selection of capture settings. The user can share their photos & video recording via the Web using Ovi Share or Flickr. The Ovi share service allows the user to capture a photo which can instantly be uploaded onto their preferred online social networking sharing site where this photo can be viewed by friends. When the user is recording video footage on their Nokia C5 they can enjoy a video zoom function as well as a video light to brighten up the surroundings. The C5 records video footage at up to thirty frames per second. This Smartphone supports video playback in either landscape or portrait mode & the user can playback videos in a variety of popular formats. The users can enjoy up to eleven hours of playback time when the phones battery is fully charged, depending on other features being used. There are preloaded games to get the user started, plus the user can download their preferred games to enjoy on their new handset. The preloaded games include Bounce Tales & Brain Challenge games. An integrated music player & radio provides the user with music entertainment at their finger tips. The music player supports high quality music playback features including an equaliser, playlist function & it has an album cover display. The user can insert a compatible memory card to enjoy even more music storage on their Smartphone. The Nokia C5 comes with a Nokia music manager which allows the user to easily transfer music from their compatible computer to their Smartphone. The user can listen to their preferred music for up to thirty four hours with a fully charged battery.

Communication & Messaging
The C5 has a selection of communication features & functions which allows its user to make calls conveniently whilst enjoying uncomplicated communication on the move. The user can access a record of call which have been made from the handset, received or missed by the user. There is a speaker call feature which allows the user to take a call over the phones loud speakers. A call timer allows the user to keep track of lengthy calls & an automatic redial allows the user to call their contacts back quickly. All the user's contacts are stored in the phone book, complete with names & numbers all easy to locate plus the user can make calls directly from their phone records in the call log. The Nokia C5 comes with many messaging capabilities allowing the user to freely communicate using the best messaging service to suit their messaging needs. The user can access Facebook to update profiles & stay in contact with their friends. There is email supports on the C5 allowing the user to enjoy their preferred email services including Ovi Mail, Gmail, Hotmail & Yahoo Mail on their handset. The Nokia C5 supports an instant messaging service which means the user can communicate with compatible instant messaging contacts that are online & enjoy Windows Messenger or Google talk instant messaging services. A SMS service allows the user to create & share a text message with their friends & when the user wishes to share photos or video recording they can create a MMS which can be sent to other MMS compatible contacts.

Technology & Internet
The C5 is a quad band network Smartphone which covers GSM networks 850, 900, 1800, 1900 & its 3G capabilities allow the user to gain HSDPA 900 & 2100 network coverage. The battery included with the Smartphone will provide up to 12 hours of GSM talk time or approximately 4.9 hours of talk time over a 3G HSDPA network. The Nokia C5 supports A GPS navigation complete with Ovi maps application which allows the user to gain informative guidance to their desired location. There is a conveniently placed micro USB connection port which allows the user to charge their handset from their computer if required & this USB connection provides easy to use connectivity to other devices. The user can charge their battery using the power adapter provided. Bluetooth® technology allows the user to transfer data between the Nokia C5 & other Bluetooth® compatible devices using a cable free connection as long as the two devices are up to ten metres apart when connected. The Nokia C5 supports EDGE technology & GPRS which allows the user to experience fast speed data transfer rates on their Smartphone. The handset comes with 50 megabytes of internal memory & the memory card slot can hold up to 16 gigabytes of external MicroSD ™ type memory. There is an integrated Web browser which supports a effortless Web experience complete with RSS feed support & the user can access their favourite social network websites on their handset plus a Nokia browser which supports a mini map feature.
