Our Nokia 701 Review

This is a Nokia 3G Smartphone which has a slim touch screen form casing & comes equipped with easy to use communication & entertainment features. The Nokia 701 is from the same Smartphone range as the Nokia 700 & the Nokia 600, which are all impressive touch screen display handsets. Its slim design makes it an easy handset to both hold & carry as it is only 1.1cm in depth, 11.72cm in height by 5.68cm in width. The 701 is available in three colours which include a silver light, steel dark & amethyst violet coloured casing, & the front section of the handset is filled with an outstanding 3.5 inch IPS-LCD touch screen with a ClearBlack & corning Gorilla® glass display. You can view high colour images & videos on this display, plus enjoy an onscreen keypad or keyboard when required. It supports a Symbian Belle operating system & is a 3G HSDPA, HSUPA & GSM capable Smartphone & will work over the appropriate network depending on your network needs. This stunning handset has eight gigabytes of internal memory plus it comes with a memory card option, which will hold up to thirty two gigabytes of external memory. Its battery is fully rechargeable & will provide an estimated 6.7 hours of talk time when used over a 3G network or 17 hours of talk time over a GSM network. It supports NFC (Near Field Communication) & A GPS navigation allowing you to connect to nearby devices using NFC or to gain directions & view maps thanks to the A GPS support. Other technologies include Bluetooth® wireless connectivity, USB connectivity & Wi-Fi®, making this handset a highly capable & user friendly Smartphone.

When making calls you can access all your contacts along with multiple numbers & emails in the phone book & make a call to suit your calling needed, whether it be a video call, conference call or an out loud hands free speaker call. Communicating with others can be gained via the many messaging services available & for a professional type communication an email can be send, received & even stored on this Smartphone. There is also text messaging with a conversation style layout, instant messaging & multimedia picture & video messaging available too. You can browse the Web on this phone for information & entertainment whilst enjoying full touch screen controls, plus access your preferred social network websites as a means of communication too.

Music can be enjoyed on the integrated music player which comes with a graphic equalizer, loud speaker & a fully charged battery will provides approximately 71.4 hours of music playing time when the Smartphone is set to its offline mode. A radio feature comes with a radio data system function & provides a fun listening experience for you to catch up with world news, local weather, radio chat shows & the latest music. A rear facing camera feature comes with an eight megapixel lens & a variety of imaging features including full focus, red eye removal option, automatic motion blur reduction, 2 x digital zoom, & a high definition video recording option which records video at thirty frames per second & 3 x video zoom. For entertainment you can playback & steam videos, plus enjoy up to 8.9 hours of video playing time from a fully charged battery. Touch screen game playing can also provide entertainment on the go as there is a variety of installed games with NFC support ready to play.
