The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic is a super looking music phone which comes with a large touch screen & compact dimensions which make it easy to carry. Its overall dimensions measure 10.4cm tall, 4.9cm wide by 1.3cm deep & it weighs only 107 grams including the battery. The user can carry this handset in their pocket as it is not a bulky touch screen handset & it will not weigh the user down due to the lightweight materials used to manufacture it. The 5530 XpressMusic has a fashion conscious appearance & comes in five colour options which include a black handset complete with either red or grey detailing & a white coloured handset complete with a blue, a pink or a yellow coloured detailing. Its large touch screen fills the front section of the casing & provides a 640 pixel by 360 pixel screen resolution with a sixteen million colour display for a truly beautiful viewing experience. This touch screen supports a screen accelerometer which allows the user to view the screen in both horizontal & vertical mode. The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic has seventy megabytes of internal memory & the handset comes complete with a four gigabyte MicroSD™ memory card included with the handset. The memory card slot can supports a memory card up to sixteen gigabytes in size, & this memory card slot allows the user to extend their memory when needed to the relevant size to the suit the users storage needs. This music focused handset works on a Symbian operating system & supports S60 software complete with a highly user friendly menu system & user interface. The 5530 XpressMusic is from the same Nokia family as the popular Nokia 5800 XpressMusic which is also a touch screen music phone.

The main feature on the 5530 XpressMusic has to be it's built in music player which comes complete with easy to use music controls & fun music features which make the listening experience perfect for the user. The music player has stereo sound speakers which allow the user to hear high quality sound as an out loud experience. It supports easy to use music settings & features allowing the user to adjust the sound settings & enjoy their music just the way the user wants to. The user can view album art displayed on their touch screen & create playlists to suit the user's personal music taste. When the battery is fully charged the user can enjoy up to twenty seven hours of music playing time. The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic also has a FM radio feature which allows the user to tune into a radio station to hear the latest music releases, news, weather reports & even enjoy the commentary of sporting events. This radio feature supports a RDS function allowing the user to read on screen information which is relevant to the radio station being listened to. A built in 3.2 megapixel digital camera feature supports still picture capturing & video recording capturing. This camera comes with an LED flash which adds light to dark surroundings & an automatic focus feature allows the user to capture a well focused picture each time this feature is used, & helps ensure that the user can capture high quality pictures on their phone. When the user is recording video then the user can change the settings to ensure a perfect recording is captured & the user can use the large touch screen as a video viewfinder to see exactly what they are recording on the beautiful screen. The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic supports video playback in MPEG4, 3GP & WMV video format.

The 5530 XpressMusic supports WLAN Wi-Fi technology which means the user can connect to the Internet by connecting their handset to a local LAN or nearby hotspot which is positioned nearby. The Nokia 5530 XpressMusic supports EDGE technology which allows the user to enjoy high speed data transfer rates & the handset supports HSCSD technology. When the user wishes to connect their handset to other compatible devices then the user can use a Bluetooth® wireless connection or a micro USB cabled connection. The user can connect to a computer, laptop, printer & another mobile phone when the user wishes to transfer data between two devices. A phone that actually does what it promises to do.

This phone will not let you down, so easy to use, nothing to special some may say, but it is a nice looking, feature packed phone by my preferred manufacture.

Nokia are still the best in my opinion.

This phone is so fantastic, it's hard to believe the insanely cheap price of £130! As soon as I got it & turned it on, I loved it, I must have played on it for 5 hours when I got it, straight from the box too as it had almost full battery.

I can only fault it as in the every top corner of my screen, there is a white dot & it doesn't ever go away, only small & not very noticeable.

It comes with games like bounce, one of those crash bandicoot story games which are good & a racing game which is fantastic!

I downloaded a few free games off the Ovi store which it not apple based, is extensive, especially in the free app market.

There is a fantastic 3D surround-sound speaker which, as I say is truly awesome!

I can only also fault the fact that the Bluetooth is not very good as it sometimes sends you a message telling you that it has sent which is temperamental at times as it needs you to save it which is hard to do.

All in all, this phone is AWESOME! DO NOT HESITATE IN GETTING IT! GET IT NOW!

I got this phone this morning & started to charge it as soon as I got home. One thing that did freak my out slightly was when I rubbed the screen, & it went very weird, like, all smeary. I went out, came back home & turned on the phone & it was fine, probably just because it was new & the pixels were all weird.

I am very impressed with this phone. I have the pink one, illuvial, I love it so much, the camera, despite being 3.2 megapixels is very good, & my friend who also has this phone says it has amazing memory.

This phone does have a place where you can put the strap.

It is very responsive, but only when you need to be, & has a lock on it so it doesn't just click on random things. The Internet speed is very fast & it is easy to add contacts. Very impressed with this phone, can't wait to explore some more!
