This fun looking mobile phone comes in a variety of fun & fashionable colours which include hot pink, turquoise, purple, graphite, dark blue & a warm silver coloured casing. The Nokia 2220 Slide is a slide opening mobile phone which comes with a smooth slide out section which reveals its numeric keypad. When the slide casing is in its slide closed position the user can view the TFT screen & use the navigation key, menu keys & call keys which are located beneath the screen. The size of the Nokia 2220 Slide is rather compact due to its slide opening design & it only measures 1.5cm deep, 4.7cm wide by 9.7cm tall when in its slide closed position. The 2220 Slide weighs 93.5 grams with its fitted battery which makes it a lightweight weight mobile phone for carrying purposes.

It's TFT screen measures 1.8 Inches in size & it displays up to sixty five thousand colours for the user to enjoy on their fashionable slider phone. The user can enjoy viewing colourful wallpapers as their background & the user can customise their theme for a more personalise feel to their phone. It has a screen resolution of 128 pixels by 160 pixels so therefore the user can enjoy a clear viewing experience.

It has a built in Internet browser which supports a HTML, XHTML, MP, CSS & WML Internet browsing experience. The user can stay in contact with others via the built in email service which allows the user to create, share, receive & store their emails using their 2220 Slide. This phone also supports other messaging services which include a SMS text messaging service which allows the user to share text & symbols in an easily created message, which can then be shared between all SMS compatible mobile phone users. A MMS message is a message which can contain text, sound, pictures, photos or video recordings & this is a fun way to communicate with other MMS contacts, as well as providing a very quick method for the user to share their photos with others. There is a phone book feature which can hold up to one thousand contacts at any one time & this phone book is easy to manage allowing the user to access their contacts quickly & easily.

A music playing feature allows the user to enjoy fun entertainment on this phone & the user can hear their favourite music in MP3 music formats. The Nokia 2220 Slide supports ringtones in MP3 format for a clear sound experience. There is an integrated radio feature which supports Fm radio tuning & the user can tune into their preferred radio station when the user wishes to be entertained by their radio. This radio feature supports a radio data system allowing the user to view information on their screen whilst listening to their radio feature & the user can record from the radio if required.

The Nokia 2220 Slide comes with thirty two megabytes of built in memory & the handset supports a 3.5 mm AV connection for connectivity purposes. This mobile phone comes with a compact battery charger & a Nokia headset include in the start up kit. The user will also find a battery & a user friendly user guide to get them started included in the start up box. The battery provided allows the user to enjoy approximately 496 hours of battery standby time or over five hours of talk time from a fully charged battery. The Nokia 2220 Slide works over dual GSM networks & will automatically switch between GSM 900 & GSM 1800 networks without the user needing to anything at all.

This phone is good & also a range of features. The phone is good & also stylish as it comes in many colors. There are good & essential features such as Email, GPRS Internet, SMS & a phonebook up to 1000 phone contacts.

There are bad things such as no Bluetooth & also no widgets to Facebook & Twitter & also a longer battery time. So I am disappointed & hope there will be a better phone.

This replaced my Nokia 2760 which was a little bulky to say the least.

For what I paid for it in Malaysia unlocked for MR199 I am satisfied although no Bluetooth.

I am happy with what I want it to do for an oldie.

Image quality was not as goog as the 2760.

Great Design. Great colour range to choose from. What a pity Nokia decided to release this phone without Bluetooth connectivity. This is why I have marked down Features & Usability. Would otherwise have been a real winner for Nokia. Looking elsewhere.

This is a good budget phone for children, or those that just want to make calls & write texts. There are no bells & whistles on it, but it does come with a preinstalled version of Opera Mini as the main web browser. There is a small onboard memory (& no memory card slot) so not much space to store music or images. It is a good design however, & very light, easy to pop in your pocket. It is currently as cheap as chips, so doesn't deserve to be slated because of it lack of features, because after all, you get what you pay for.

For those that want a simple to use & basic phone, you won't go far wrong with this.
