Our Nokia 1800 Review
It has a 1.8 Inch screen which is a TFT type screen & supports a colour display. This screen can display up to sixty five colours for the user to enjoy when viewing colourful wallpapers on their phone. Just below the screen there is a large square shaped navigation key which allows the user to control their phones menu selection & the user can select their options easily using this control. The Nokia 1800 has easily positioned call start & call end keys which are clearly marked for ease of use, as a green phone icon is to indicate starting a call & a red phone icon indicated call end. Its keypad is well spaced out which makes it easy for the user to input text at high speeds whether the input is numeric or alphabetic on this keypad.

This handset comes with preloaded games which allow the user to enjoy a game when the mood takes them. There is a built in FM radio feature which means the user can enjoy a mobile radio experience on their mobile phone. The user can enjoy hearing their ringing tones & alerts in MP3 sound. An integrated torch feature allows the user to turn their Nokia 1800 into a portable torch at a flick of a switch which is both useful & a good safety feature. There is an alarm clock feature which the user can use as a wakeup alarm or the alarm can be used as a reminder alert.
The Nokia 1800 supports a call log which allows the user to access calls which the user has made, received & missed. A redial feature allows the user to redial a contact quickly & easily using this feature. The 1800 works over a dual band GSM network which includes GSM 900 & GSM 1800. This phone can automatically switch between each network band without the user needing to do anything what so ever. It comes with internal memory which allows the user to store their contacts details & ringtones on their phones memory. There is a battery which comes with this mobile phone & when fully recharged the battery can provide up to 8.5 hours of GSM talk time or approximately 528 hours of battery standby time.

I found that this phone was perfect for me to make text messeging, & phone calls. As I am a teen I thought I'd hate this phone but after I used it after my L.G Cookie died on me I found that I liked it better than my old phone, although it does not have Bluetooth, external memory slot or MP3 it did not stop wanting to use it as an everyday phone.
I recommend this phone to anyone as its a good little phone.

As a student, this phone helped me in times of emergencies & times when my parents should pick me up in school. It takes 3 days for me to drain the batteries. This phone has a loud speaker to be used by the alarm. These types of phones are the ones suitable for mobile phone users that are not luxurious, it simply gives you the true job of the mobile phone. Oh & it's cheap too. & I almost forgot to tell you, I've been using this for about 2 weeks by now, what more could it give me!

This phone is a good back up phone or good for people who don't get on well with technology. It has no Bluetooth or camera so if you go from an iPhone to this you will see a major difference. I have this for a back up phone & it does the job.
Messages, 10 out of 10 sends messages well & if you click off it by mistake you can go back to the messages. It's easy to delete messages & only takes about 10 seconds.
Phone Usability, for someone not used to phones this is a good place to start gives the user a demo of how to use it.
Battery life, 10 out of 10 the battery lasts about 2 or 3 days. When you're using it all the time its good compared to some of the bigger & better brands.

Here is the list of issue:
- The phone hangs & goes for auto restart once in two days (approx).
- Sometime when the call comes in, it rings, but does not show in the display, we cannot even attend it.
- Contact search after typing 4 characters, makes typing further characters like a hung state.
- With dictionary mode ON, when typing specific texts in the SMS (e.g. Once you type 'up') we cannot go to previous word. I have to disable the mode & then go back & enable the dictionary mode again.
- Typing keys make much noise.
- With some inbuilt SMS tones, the back cover too vibrates to makes strange noise (as if the speaker got stuck to the back panel cover)
Good stuff:
- Battery is good, charge stays for long time.
- Good design, compact & weightless.

Has all the basic features I use in a phone, phone, time display, alarm clock. Unfortunately & unlike other basic Nokia's models I've used , it crashes Especially when I'm writing a text, but occasionally at other times, the screen freezes for 3 to 5 seconds, goes black, & then the phone restarts. Not recommended.

I have got this phone & found its cheap & very reliable. Easy to use & does the job. Anybody looking for something simple & just for calls & texts this is the ideal phone.

I recently purchased the Nokia 1800, as I wanted a reliable phone brand & just wanted a phone for calls & texting, this phone does both well. Another important thing for me is battery life, this phone has a long battery life. I find it frustrating when I have a phone that I have to charge every day or two. The features are basic but good, it has a calculator, calendar & alarm clock amongst other things. I am not bothered that it hasn't got a camera. I got the phone from phones 4u, bought it on the Vodafone network, but the phone is SIM free, meaning you could put a different SIM card in it, I.e. Orange, t mobile, O2, virgin, but nota 3 SIM card as those SIM cards require a 3G phone. The phone cost me £7.95 plus I had to but £10 credit, if you pay with a bank card. But if you pay with cash you have to buy £20 credit, all in all a good phone, ideal as a first phone for a child or young teen, I think the phone is good for any age, but teenagers probably won't like it as they want a high gadget top of the range phone! To anybody wanting a basic reliable phone I say go for this, you won't be disappointed.

I bought this to replace my Nokia 6500 classic (cracked screen) & this is a great phone. I use it just for calls & texting. The texting is the fast, smooth T9 you can expect from a Nokia. The call quality is good (not quite as nice as the 6500 with its clarity technology) but still good.
For texting, calling & a few tools built in (including a basic spreadsheet! ) this phone actually convinced me to go SIM only in my new contract.
My only problem with the phone is the slightly loud physical clicking noise made by the keys.
The LED light is a very neat addition, it will illuminate an entire room with a subtle purple & violet hue.
Battery life from new charge, going past the 5th day now without a charge (no more charging every night! ).
