Motorola VE66 Review

The VE66 is a compact slider phone designed by Motorola. The Motorola VE66 comes with a smooth slide opening casing & it is available in a black coloured casing complete with silver or gold coloured edging & accents which enhance it sophisticated design. This slider phone comes with many user friendly features which allow the user to communication on the move & enjoy entertainment features with them wherever they go. The slide mechanism is easy to slide open & when in the closed or open position the user can view the large 2.2 Inch colour screen. When it is in the closed position the user can access the navigation key, call keys, shortcut key & the menu key. The Motorola VE66 weighs one hundred & twenty one grams which gives this mobile phone a solid feel without weighing its user down when carrying. The casing measures 15.2mm deep, 49.5mm wide by 103mm tall when in its slide closed position which makes a compact slider handset. The VE66 comes with one hundred megabytes of internal memory plus the user can add a memory card to extend their phones memory capabilities further.

The phone supports Wi-Fi technology which allows the user to gain a connection to the Internet via a local wireless LAN or a nearby hotspot. The Motorola VE66 supports easy to use connectivity options which allow the user to connect their new phone to other compatible devices such as a PC, laptop, headphones or printer. The phone supports a cabled connection using the phones USB port to connect to other USB compatible devices using a USB connection cable. The Bluetooth® wireless technology allows the user to connect to Bluetooth® compatible devices without the use of a cable & enjoy a wireless connection with devices up to ten metres away from the VE66. This compact slider phone also supports GPRS & EDGE technology which allows the user to experience high speed data transfer rates when transferring files between the Motorola VE66 & other compatible devices. The phone works on a quad band GSM network which allows the user to enjoy worldwide roaming but the overall coverage is fully dependent on the user's service provider.

A built in FM radio feature complete with a RDS function allows the user to tune into their favourite radio station whilst viewing radio information on the screen thanks to the support of the RDS function. The user can catch up on radio news reports, sports results or simply enjoy all the latest music on a variety of music stations. The Motorola VE66 comes with an integrated music player which allows the user of this slider phone to transfer their music onto their phone to have their favourite music experience with them wherever they go. A built in five megapixel camera comes with easy to use imaging features including a flash function, auto focus, red eye reduction & a image stabiliser. The user can capture a quick snap & feel sure to capture a steady & precise shot each time the capture key is pressed. The camera lens is located on the back of the handset & the user can enjoy capturing & storing their pictures on this mobile phone. The VE66 also supports video capture as well as still image capture. The user can capture video in all popular video formats & enjoy capturing moving footage on their phone. The phone comes with a rechargeable battery which can provide up to four hundred hours of standby battery time or over six & a half hours talk time when fully charged.

This simply sophisticated looking handset comes with easy to access call features which allow the user to make calls just the way the users wants to, as well as accessing all missed calls & call lists easily. The user can enjoy using a variety of call methods to make a call experience easier for the users & to suit the users call needs. The phone supports a speaker phone call method which allows the user to hear their contact over the phones loud speakers whilst the built in microphone will pick up the users voice without the user holding their handset to their mouth. The speaker phone call allows the user to enjoy a hands free call whilst resting their handset on a nearby table, desk or even on the users lap whilst the user enjoys a hands free call experience. The Motorola VE66 comes with messaging features which allow the user to communicate with other compatible messaging contacts. The VE66 supports a SMS text message feature which allows the user to create a message containing text which can be sent to other SMS compatible contacts. A built in email service allows the user to communicate via email with other contacts with an email address. A built in MMS message features allows the user of the Motorola VE66 to share their pictures with other compatible contacts as the MMS message can contain a picture complete with text & sound. This mobile phone comes with a built in Opera browser & a WAP Web browser which allows the user to access the Internet on their new handset & access their preferred websites with ease.
