Motorola V975 3G Phone Review
The V975 is a dual screen phone which comes complete with a VGA camera for capturing those special photos. The internal screen has a clear TFT colour display which provides a very crisp image for viewing photos & video recordings. The video recording feature is very simple to use & it is possible for the user to playback & download video. The V975 makes it possible for the user to have a two way video conference call which gives a very personal feel to the normal conference call.

The other features included in the Motorola V975 are J2ME™ embedded & downloadable games, MP3 & polyphonic ringtones. The V975 comes with a removable TransFlash™ memory card to give the user a large amount of storage for all those special pictures, video, games & ringtones that need to be stored.
The messaging features are great on this phone as it comes complete with MMS (multimedia messaging service) which allows the user to send photos, images, sound & text to other mobile phones that have the MMS feature. The V975 also includes SMS (text messaging) & email for easy messaging.

How do I set the phone for MMS?

Have had this phone for 2.5 years only because I got such a good deal on contract for 18 months then 3 gave me a 1 year free contact to keep me (no upgrade though). All my friends were getting snazzy little slim line pink, glittery, mini handbag size phones whilst I was still lugging this heavy monstrosity around. Camera not great, reception a little dodgy sometimes & now the speaker has lost its oomph so can hardly hear it ringing & has recently had new battery. It served a purpose (in an ugly way). Have dropped it a few times & it still kept going, must be a plus there. I think.

It should have lighter casing, v975 is not available.

Completely pants! Keeps taking pictures of the inside of my pocket, sometimes the alarm is inexplicably self muting. Not you're best when you rely on it. Battery life is less than that stated by the manufacturer & it weighs a ton. Redeeming features would include dual screen & two way camera but that is really just about it.

An ok phone.

Phone really needs FM radio, more memory, more battery life time, less weight, better internal graphics. Phone is really heavy. The display screen is quite old style. I did not use the SD card but I could only store few songs & with no FM radio it sucked a bit. I think there are better phones out there. Also after 3 months or so my phone would not turn on right away. Sometimes the network would be low & battery would only last for a day or day & half with no music played or video played. The 3 network however has an excellent entertainment system like TV, internet, free bees, downloads etc

This a well designed phone with a smooth finish that feels comfortable to hold in your hand. It has lots of features, at a very affordable price. You get lots for your money. It has a dual screen which is clear & of high quality, your photos look great. You will also find it has SMS & MMS messaging features & it comes with 3G technology with provides fast Internet access. It comes with a removable TransFlash memory card that gives you a massive amount of storage for when you need it. I am really impressed with this phone...

In design, the V975 has just been totally chucked together. The Motorola range of 3G phones are a let down & the advertising budget should have been spent of the design of the phones. Moto no good.

The phone keeps freezing & is a pain in the bum & it could do with a better battery as it only last one & half days in standby, I tested it.

It's a joke, going straight back to Sony Ericsson. Battery rubbish, useability rubbish.

At the moment I am tied into a contract but I can't wait to see the back of it & then I will be able to upgrade for a better model because I've had one or two problems with this one. It's a nicely put together phone but the battery is always letting me down & it just turns itself off for no reason at all, which is very frustrating. It may be just my phone, but I think I will have to try another manufacture next time.

This high tech phone is up there with the best of them you get a fantastic amount of options with this one. Once you've picked it up you wont want to put it down, it's very tactile & has a nicely set out & easy to use keypad. Normally I wouldn't buy a clamshell designed phone as I've had problems with them in the past but this phone is outstanding & fills all my requirements. A Lovely piece of technology.
