I LOVE THIS PHONE! I have had it for 4 years now, it has been dropped countless times on laminate flooring, concrete, even got fairly wet. It has never let me down, all I want to do is make & receive calls & text. I am not interested in any music features, Bluetooth (whatever that is), & in my humble opinion, this is the perfect phone for me. I am now thinking of buying a new one, the only issue is what colour do I get?!

In 2004 this flip open phone set the pace (it didn't need Beckham!) I just bought another brand new one, its tough & slips into back pockets no problem. All I wanted was a mobile phone, not a radio or a player, & the camera & video facility have been invaluable in terms of photographic evidence (building faults). Other phones claim to be smart well this is one of the few that gets used to you & your contacts & fills in words like magic so you don't get sore thumbs! First one well someone STOLE IT!
p.s. If anyone knows where I can get sapphire MP3 ringtone (sax tune) be greatful all my friends say they came to associate it with me, thats how much jealousy RAZR spread!

This phone is OK for what it is & what it costs you. People are complaining about it's memory & stuff, but it's a phone not a memory stick. I think this phone is great.

I don't understand why people are giving this bad reviews? I mean, fair enough it's got bad memory & camera & games etc but if you were looking for those things, surely you'd have upgraded by now anyway?
I have had this phone for ages & it does exactly what I want it to & what I use it for. Never had a problem with it & the battery life is long too.

I have had this phone 3 years now. I was worried about swapping from Nokia as I had never had anything else before. But I wanted a flip phone as I was so frustrated with accidentally phoning people with the classic models & Nokia didn't have a slim flip phone. This has been a great little phone. If all you want is a mobile phone then this is it.
It's not a camera, or a video, or an MP3 player or a web browsing laptop. It's just a phone & the price reflects that.
It doesn't have loads of memory but I get about 80 saved messages before I have to clear them out. The battery lasts about 3 days which is fair enough.
I use it in the UK with PAYG on 02 out in the Herefordshire countryside & have no problem with signal. Also use it in Switzerland with PAYG Swiss com & again no problems anywhere, even in the mountains.
The screen is wearing now so I will have to think about replacing it, probably with the same one!
Sue.

It was good for me for texting & calling & stuff but I dropped it in water & it worked after a couple of days but it's now never got signal. It has NO space & the camera is pretty bad, videos can only be recorded for so long & they are jumpy. I don't like it too much.

I have to say that the only reason I bought this phone on the first place was because it was cheap & I needed a really quick replacement after my previous one was stolen.
After being a little wary of the flip thing, I've always thought flip phones look really flimsy & I'd be scared of breaking them but I've been pleasantly surprised.
I've had it a year now & it's been reliable to the last.
The battery life is pretty reasonable, about 3 days when kept on all the time & used for calls etc, I have found it to be a fairly robust little thing, I've dropped it & got it wet & kicked it & it's been fine. The design is lovely, slim, pocket friendly & the keypad is stylish & easy to use.
Unfortunately with the same phone though!
I only really use my phone for texting & calls, if you want more than that you are better off investing in a more expensive & recent piece of equipment. It IS an old model, the camera isn't worth much, the screen polarises on a much too narrow angle & there really isn't a whole lot of memory capacity. That said camera phone technology still isn't really advanced enough yet to compete even with basic compact digital cameras. If that's what you want you're better off buying a phone with the other features you want & a separate digital camera.
I'd just like to mention as well that some people will, inevitably, have faulty handsets, & those faults cannot be generalised & attached to the model. I have never experienced most of the problems described on here & it is unlikely that you would if you were to buy the phone yourself.

I loved this phone but it was always stuffing up on me from the first day I got it. It would not let me text & it would not let me use the Internet & the plastic is to week I accidently dropped it & it snapped in half.
It only has 5MB built in & you can't put in a memory card in it.

Bad points.
- Very low resolution screen.
- Rubbish camera resolution.
- ONLY 5MB of built in memory (no card slot).
- Rubbish features overall.
- Motorola's old operating system.
- Very flimsy like when you flip it up it feels like it's going to break.
- Not reliable.
Good points.
- Pocket friendly.
- Quite good design.
- Very thin.
- Cost friendly.
- Nice keyboard looks posh.

I Have Loved This Phone. Yes, It doesn't Have Much Memory, But It Has Never Failed Me. I Wouldn't recommend Buying It Because I Think That There Is More On the Market Now, But Despite What everyone Seems To Think It Wasn't That Bad. It's Only the Features That Let It Down!

I got this phone as a Christmas gift from my parents in 2007. I thought it was really cool at first, but then I found out that the battery life was terrible, big time. It does not have much room for pictures, videos, or ringtones at all. & too add to that, there is no slot for a memory card. This is probably the worst phone that I have used in my entire life.

I hate this phone it is terrible. Dropped 3ft onto carpet & broke hinge. However I had it for about 2 years & never dropped it, back then it was good.
DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE. It may look all right but it has 2MB (yes two MEGABYTES, not kidding) of memory plus you cannot upgrade memory.
Camera is pathetic, no flash, bad games.
Get a Sony Ericsson if the iPhone is too expensive for you (like me). Don't go anywhere near Motorola.
The people who gave this good reviews must have had a different phone to what I got.

I really love this phone. I have had it for two & a half years but unfortunately is quite poor but it is a good phone.
I would say though that it is probably a good phone as a first phone as it's reliable & easy to use but I am getting a different phone just because I fancy a change not because there was anything wrong with it when it worked.

I have had this phone for nearly two years now & let me tell you it was not very good it has appalling battery life & the screen kept getting full of dust by the end of it the battery was only lasting half a day without any calls or texts well any way the only thing I have to say is that I thought the phone was going to be really good but it wasn't!

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE! I have had problems with it since day 1. They only offer a 3 month warranty & it doesn't cover anything! My phone is stuffed. It will ring. But it won't let me answer the call. I can receive messages but the screen goes blank every 2 seconds so I can never get into my messages for long enough to read them. I am never buying a Motorola again.

This is probably the worst phone I have had. I liked it due to its design. & thought it's really girly & looks really good. Once I purchased it, I wished I hadn't.
There's nothing to it. It goes blank on you when you attempt texting, using the WAP & half the times I have been having important phone conversations when its cut off & got me into trouble.
I have passed this phone on to young niece now, as I think it's a phone for kids, who don't need much out of it.
I would strongly advise not to buy this, BIG waste!

This phone is great. Contrary to other reviews saying that the batter life is low, I find that it lasts quite a long time.
I've had this phone for over a year & a half & I still like it. Bluetooth works fine but I have to tell it to find phones rather than the phone doing that it's self. The games aren't that good but you can pay to download if you really want. The shape is great & fits into my pocket really well.
I would recommend this phone to people who want a phone that is simple with a nice design.

READ ME I HAVE HAD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS PHONE!
I have had this phone for about half a year now & it is bad, big time. It is quite easy to use but the screen cracked when a bar of chocolate fell on it, it stopped me from accessing my contacts & after all of this it stopped me from sending calls & texts & would only let me RECIEVE both when I had full bars signal & when I had more than 40 % battery, useless.
Really I am warning you. DO NOT GET THIS PHONE seriously. It is good at the start but defaults like other comments in max a year.

I bought this phone when it was £100 & I can't believe I ever spent that much on such a rubbish phone! It holds so little pictures & videos & it won't take a single song!
It deletes all my contacts which is incredibly annoying & also the phone itself is so big that you look like an idiot when you're using it.
I would say definitely DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE (unless of course you want to throw a phone across the room).

This phone was really horrible, my parents bought it for me for Christmas last year, within two weeks the front screen broke. It was always freezing, the battery life sucked, the memory was cracked & the Bluetooth always screwed up, then it kept turning off for no reason, but would say it had full battery also it is restricted in the things you can do, & the Internet is really slow. I wouldn't recommend getting this phone to anyone, it's pretty rubbish.

Reviewer: Marcus - Somerset, UK

I have owned one for 2 years now & it is still going strong, even after being dropped onto tarmac or concrete several times during its life. Both the displays are clear, keypad works well & has good standby charge unless you leave Bluetooth turned on.
It does have a small memory with no option to increase, it can store in the region of 50 texts or more. First & for most it is a phone with the option to take photos which it cannot be faulted for. So, if Mp3s or photos & videos are as important as texting then you should look elsewhere for something suitable.
I had never had any of the other problems people have mentioned here such as connecting to the Internet on its own accord, so I believe it is just a small number of people who suffer this, just like the other issues mentioned.

I have this phone only to use as a modem through my PC for cheap Internet (pound a day or 2.50 a week on T Mobile) whenever I desire to use it. I wouldn't have this phone as my main phone as it hasn't got what I want from a mobile & it lacks in features in that way! It's okay for if you just want a simple phone for basic texting & calling & no more. As for style of it, I don't like the design but colours are okay especially lilac & pink ones. I got it in black & unlocked.

I have had this phone for about 3 years, the first was the older version without video & it was great couldn't really find fault as for real pictures I'd use a camera. My problem comes with the newer one which has video capture, now my phone holds only 20 messages in the inbox & after a year I am giving it up as it's just too frustrating. Otherwise an excellent phone but not recommended if you receive lots of messages or want to take decent photos on your phone..

I've got this phone in pink. When I got it I was so excited! On the review in Morrisons it said MP3 phone. I was very disappointed when I took it home & found it wasn't. I think the phone is ideal for sum1 who doesn't want music as it is very good for texting on. But I keep getting browser messages & they take all the credit off my phone. Does anyone know what this is & how to stop it? It also keeps jamming up & the background I have on it goes really weird & it won't turn on or off for ages. Good phone though! Kirst X.

I have had this phone in pink for over 2 years now & it's still working! I have dropped it loads & even put it in the washing machine by accident.
Yeah as everyone has pointed out the memory is rubbish but it is ideal for people who want a phone to text & ring. The only downside is the phone sometimes goes on to a grey screen & switches its self off then on again but had a few Nokia's that did this too.
Overall a nice phone.

The only thing this phone is good for is throwing away basically. I have has it about a year, I dropped it once & it's been faulty ever since.
The memory is poor, it can hold only one song & up to 30 pictures. The camera quality is poor & the videos are really short.
Altogether I hate this phone! It's really fragile & I don't really like the looks. It's like a flip brick! I am getting a new phone asap!
Reviewer: Alan - London, UK

I can't understand why this phone gets poor reviews considering what you can now pay for one (under £30 at Tesco).
I have had budget phones from Samsung & Nokia costing more but the Motorola is far superior & better quality, if you want a phone just to make calls & to text then the RAZR V3 is fine.
If you want music video etc, then perhaps you should be looking for a decent MP3 or MP4 player instead of a mobile phone.

I really hate this phone because it always dials 666. I quite like the design & feel of the phone but it only has 6MB of memory on it, the camera is bad as it is only a vga camera & there is no place to put a memory card in. If you are thinking of buying a phone I wouldn't suggest this phone because it also accesses the Internet if I leave it in my pocket for about ten minutes. Hope this helped you.

I have had this phone for just over a year & it hasn't failed me yet. It can be a bit slow sometimes & the screen gets imprints of the keys on it, but otherwise it is very good. Will admit that the camera is not very good but it is OK enough in good light, but grainy sometimes. Overall it is very good.

The camera pictures always came out blurry & the video was no good however I had this phone for a while & it lasted great considering it had got wet, been on roller coasters, chucked in school bag etc. The screen was easy to keep clean & unmarked, the Internet was easy to use & the buttons worked well when wearing fake nails. Nice size phone fits neatly in pockets however not enough memory space can only just fit on 2 songs 3 maximum.
Reviewer: Lily - UK
Date: 22nd Feb 2008
I've tried to be fair with this review. This phone has obviously been around for a while, so to compare it to newer phones with new technology is pointless. When I first got it I thought it was amazing, it is fantastically slim & was a lot nicer than some of the other Nokia bricks available at the time. I have had no problems with it at all, & I've had it for about two/three years now (ages! ).
Pros.
- Nice simple texting.
- Has a camera (not fantastic) but has zoom, brightness settings. If you close it you can take pictures of yourself easily (you can see the screen on the front). Basically, it is what you expect of the price you can get it for.
- Bluetooth (amazingly! ).
- Lovely simple design.
- It shows the time on the front screen.
- Nice simple navigation.
Cons.
- Appalling memory size (5MB). I can fit two songs on & after installing all the software & loading all my songs (from my MP3) to the Motorola phone tools, I wasn't impressed to find not enough memory.
- Battery life. For a while I thought it was awful, I had my phone of constantly because the battery would go down in a matter of hours. It was only when I found out my Bluetooth had been on ALL the time I had got it, that I realised that was what was wearing it down. It can now last for a day or two, which is still not great.
- the camera & video quality, not brill.
- Slow loading times (for games, browser etc).
- Lack of memory card slot. My problem with the memory would be solved, but it is so old that it doesn't have a slot!
- Generally outdated.
Following on from my last point, this phone other than just not being in with all the new technology is great (believe it or not! ). If you want a simple phone good for making texts & phone calls with a good battery life & pretty looks, then this is a good phone for you, but that probably doesn't include many people as we (mostly) want amazing top notch everything to impress our friends with.
Conclusion.
I wouldn't buy this phone as you would probably be looking for a phone with more memory & better tools almost immediately.
Sorry Motorola, but I am now looking at the Sony Ericsson W810i, & writing this review has just made me 100% sure it IS prefect :).

Owned this handset for about 10 months a couple of years ago. It was a phone I longed for as soon as I first set eyes on it, I can cut this review short by saying it's a lot like an expensive Italian supercar, looks awesome & the performance promised a lot, alas sadly the build quality & reliability was appalling. My razor ended up being snapped into two separate pieces whilst in my back pocket. Nowadays it's a bargain however so if you're looking for a mobile that you're not intending to keep for ages then look no further!

It's super thin, & I love the keypad. It's super easy to use & I think that it is a very standard phone for TODAYS market. But when I got it, it was very good quality.

I've had this phone for just over a year now & it suits me perfectly. Yes it only holds one song but isn't that what you have Ipods & MP3 players for? & the camera on it is good if you want to take a quick fun snaps but if you want high quality pictures then use a proper camera. I've had a couple of little accidents with my phone but its never actually broken once its just covered in lots of scratches but it still works fine so I have no plans to change it yet.

I loved this phone. It is great for people who have maybe only had 1 or 2 phones before, as it is kind of simple. It has an OK camera, but was a little bit slow & blurry at times. The storage, I must say was a sort of awful, & compared to my uni friends, who could hold around 50 songs, the v3 could hold 10 at the maximum. One thing I did like though was the design & feel of the phone. It felt really nice to hold & fitted into my pocket so easily & unobstructively.
It is a brilliant phone for things like texting, & calling, but not so good for those of you who enjoy your pics, vids & tunes. Hope that all of this helps.

The battery life can last up to a week which is great spesh for someone like me who forgets to charge it up ha-ha! The one problem is really how slow it takes to Bluetooth & once you have sent it or been sent something, the file is normally too big & won't load but apart from that this phone is brill & is a great for anyone who just wants a casual phone for school or whatever!

Ha ha ha all your bad reviews make me laugh. Look at the reviews on & before March of 2006, they're great! They also weren't nearly as popular back then. I've had mine for 2 years & it's served me great. Sure the camera is shabby but let's keep it in mind that this phone has been in production for over 2 years.
Anyway, they were absolutely fantastic up until Q2 2006 (that's second quarter of 2006, so April & on) they weren't popular they were quality phones. Then they got popular & Motorola made more for cheaper (basic principle of business) & to anyone who bought a phone, especially in 2007, you are a sheep & nothing more. You followed a fad & bought the oh so popular phone of the time. What you didn't realize is they turned to rubbish. Problems with cracked screens & dust (sand?) under the screen cover are unacceptable problems basically just cheap manufacturing. When I got my phone we also got custom leather pouches to carry them on our belts which also no longer including in post Q2 2006 packages. I've dropped mine down a flight of hardwood stairs & accidentally put it through a load in the washing machine & it works fine. Trust me they used to be great but if you are even considering buying one now. I must ask you why? They built a reputation as good phones & have been sold on those premises ever since but their quality has dropped I assure you. My review percentages are being based on the time of release though by today's standards I'd give mine a 45, 20 & 40, I'd give a new one 45, 15, & 20. Oh & just putting it out there.
Not enough memory for MP3's? Are you kidding me? When this phone came out I don't even remember there being any MP3 phones! At that point it was all about taking the technology & making it smaller & thinner. & the RAZR most certainly delivered. It wasn't about cramming songs onto a phone unless it was a short clip to be used as a ring tone. Anyway DO NOT BUY ONE, BY TODAY'S STANDARDS THEY ARE TERRIBLE I ASSURE YOU! Move on, get a new phone, something released in the last 6 to 12 months or something. But don't go complaining that a 2 plus year old phone doesn't have all the fancy stuff more recent phones have. That's what the razr2 is for. But given Motorola's bad manufacturing after becoming popular & obvious profit motive (make cheap sell high) I'd be weary. After what they did to the RAZR, I don't know how much they can really be trusted, then again others may very well be just as bad. The joys of buying technology!
As a side note I am looking at upgrading to a Samsung or Nokia.

Would definitely recommend this phone! It may not have a huge pile of features & the memory is a bit rubbish but it's very reliable! I have dropped mine about 20 times, no joke, & it has never cracked! The most that happens is that it'll immediately turn off & back on again which is no big deal. Getting a Samsung D900 for Christmas & I am kind of beginning to regret it after reading the reviews for it as I am rather clumsy with phones, always dropping them etc!
The Motorola is a tad heavy but personally I think it looks really stylish, the camera isn't bad, the sound is good & as I said before it's quite strong! It is also rather cheap at the minute.

Nice & slim, fits in my pockets unobtrusively & the buttons don't get pressed accidentally because it's a flip phone. Nice quality feel to the metal case. Still one of the smartest phones out there. Very disappointed, poor memory, difficult to use (it looks snazzy, but I rather have ugly & usable than pretty & difficult), Bluetooth is a joke, glad I got it in a sale. So I got my razor about February 2006 & at first I did like it because it was the phone to have & there was nothing else on the market. But now I am on my 3rd one, they just break for no reason.
I am on a family plan & we want to leave T Mobile when my contract ends in February 2008. So I am stuck because it just broke today from some kind of water, but I didn't get any water on it recently.
The pictures were useless because they were so blurry. They keys are cool but they break off to easy. The screen is not that good because it's always so darn blurry. I really don't think you should buy it due to the fact that it breaks way to easy & then you are stuck using an old phone.

I am not impressed overall. Keypad is fiddly & easy to mistype characters. It's too slow when texting compared to my old Nokia. I am 4 characters ahead of the 'beep' & it does your head in after a bit.
Absolutely hopeless at sending texts with a fairly long message, gives up trying & then, just to really hack you off, there is no audible warning to tell you that it has failed to send the message. So, 3 hours later, you eventually realise the all important text you tried to send didn't go at all.
Fairly robust though, & contrary to what I have heard, I find the battery life is excellent. Don't use the camera, so can't comment.

I got this phone about a year & a half ago. In the beginning I loved the sleekness of its design. It was unlike any phone out at that time. But I can honestly say the outward appearance is about the only thing I now like about the phone! First of all the layout of features & buttons on the phone is extremely confusing with about 4 different buttons to be pressed several times before completing the simplest of tasks.
As a fairly rapid texter I find it takes a few seconds for the letters to appear on the screen after I have typed them which I find very confusing. This is probably one of the major problems as texting is what I mainly use my phone for. Another problem with texting is that if you are in the process of writing a text & accidently press the red button to bring you back to the main screen, the text is not saved automatically & you have to go through the tedious process of re writing the text. Also I find I can save a maximum of 60 texts in my inbox at any one time which is a lot less than the 90 I could save on my old, lower spec Nokia phone.
The battery is also very poor with the phone not lasting much longer than a day after fully charging. The picture quality not great either & I have found recently that while the picture is of OK quality immediately after taking, if I go back to it later in the saved gallery it is more blurry which is quite odd!
The fun is not very strong either & does not stand up to rough handling, I.e. One should be very careful not to drop it or spill any amount of water on it. On the positive side, despite these faults, it has worked very satisfactorily for the last year & a half & I have not had to have it repaired or such like.

When this phone was first released in the UK the stores were sold out it was a brand new extremely thin flip camera phone yes I must admit I was tempted to buy it but I am not glad I didn't. The first reason is that it has an extremely tiny 5MB memory I think Motorola should have expanded it as at the time mp3s on your mobile was very popular & I don't think it was a smart move. The second thing was that it had a VGA camera if you hear about that now you think something that must have been invented about 5 years ago well it was only 2 or 3. The last was that it overheats a lot & mine used to turn its self off & wouldn't turn on until it cooled down. I don't know if this is a safety feature but it was very annoying.

We love it so much so I am looking to upgrade to the V3I. It's small, fits into you jacket or shirt pocket very easily & had a loud ring tone. It does what it says on the box. If you're quite happy with a slim phone that has all the main features including games & Bluetooth then this is the one for you. People forget the more you have on a phone the less battery life it has & the more thing's to go wrong. Over the two years we have had them. Like some of the other users said, when you open the phone too quickly the screen goes blank & the phone takes about a minute to reboot, if you are answering a call when this happens it will also drop your call. Each of the 3 RAZR's I have had has done this, & it happens for me on about 1 in 5 calls. To everyone that says they can't understand why we are all complaining about this phone - well, you must be the exception to the rule, because I would estimate over 80% of these phones fail & what is wrong with the phone? Actually, the features are quite fine for the price, & the calling & texting are fine too. WHEN the PHONE IS NOT FREEZING, the SCREEN IS NOT GOING BLACK/WHITE, the BUTTONS ARE NOT GOING CRAZY, & the BACKLIGHT CAUSES the MOST ANNOYING BUZZING I HAVE EVER HEARD.

I got my V3 from a friend as I was having a hard time texting with my trusty Nokia, I have to say that after a couple of days to get used to where everything is I can text really quickly on it, I like the way when you are inputting a big word it hazards a guess at what the word will be but allows you to carry on without forcing you to have the word it's thought of.
There are a couple of things which do annoy me with this phone, first is that you have to tell it that you want a delivery report every time you send a message, second is the abysmal battery life, (I now carry a spare fully charged battery with me in my wallet) & finally the small amount of memory, it's fine for adding ringtones as I only use part of a song for a tone, camera is OK for when it was brought out but not up to today's standards.
Calling quality is good & I can use it with my computer just fine after getting the Phone tools software installed. This phone is about 2 years old & has never had a fault, still looks good & now is fairly cheap to buy. I would not recommend this phone for anyone who likes to have lots of music & video clips or doesn't have access to a charger wherever they go but as a phone for making calls & texting it's fine.

I was given this phone as a cast off by my pal because I didn't have a mobile but would not have bought one myself.
The first thing I did was to flash the phone & attempt to remove the branding, games, themes, pictures etc that were clogging up memory, I've never tried this before but thankfully it was successful. This also helped to speed up the phone & enabled a hidden Video Recording facility which is I suppose would be quite nice if the quality wasn't so bad or the memory capacity so low.
I do like the sturdy case & as a basic phone it seems OK. But there is alternative connection software available if you look.

Revolutionary design for its era. Otherwise, just a phone to talk & send SMS. The camera is awful, the worst digital camera I've used since 1998. Mine could not record videos (it was one of the first models). Excellent material quality, if you have the leather case, it is immortal & scratches less. Of course it has no radio, no MP3 support, it is slooooow, & if you upload contacts from the PC (synchronize with Outlook), it confuses the Last with the first name.
However, excellent contact management, just excellent.
Highly recommended for people who don't care if their phone has a GPS or a camera or an MP3 player built-in. Also highly recommended if you are wearing a suit, it is perhaps one of the most stylish phones ever, if only it had not been sold that much.

My phone had no games, it had a basic camera, it was advertised saying it has an MP3, which isn't a lie, but on this MP3 I can hold 3 songs max (& they have to be very small memory size).
But if your wanting a simply phone that looks good & you only need to text & ring people, & maybe a little of the video & picture taking then this phone is the perfect phone for you.
If you want a full out gadget mobile & wouldn't care if it was the size of your hand then this is defiantly NOT the phone to buy.
Whatever the case though, the only MAJOR downfall is its reliability, the battery broke when I lost my phone for 2 days, found it, tried to charge it & didn't work to this day.

It came with a USB cable to do this. There was no disc & not only me but other people have tried to transfer the photos to my computer from this phone which is what it is supposed to do.
I find it very disconcerting to have this lovely looking phone, but not doing what the phone is supposed to do. It is not possible to return it to Argos as I was told it could not be returned unless faulty.
In my eyes, I have bought a phone that does not do what I expected it to do. I am very disappointed. On this basis I would not recommend this phone to anyone. I see on the website many others have had the same problem. Can a disc be provided, as there should be one if a cable is in the box with it? Please reply.

Got this phone as a gift. Loved it at 1st but I now can't wait for another, can't use the Bluetooth. It just stops sending at 90 % if I can use the Bluetooth then only 1song, & putting MP3 (which it says it can play) off the computer, it jutters & doesn't work. Scratches easily & all the time says battery invalid. Have to tape the battery down then put on the backing, very unhelpful. Always dodge this phone & it sticks loads. Be warned!

I Purchased this phone after sein it bein advertised on the television. It was a massive mistake it was the worst phone I had ever bought. The camera quality was very bad, the memory was rubbish I could only hold one song & hardly any pics. The battery life was also another common fault with the phone. I had to charge it atleast once a day because it always seemed to go flat. It doesn't even have a video camera which I also use very often. If anyone is considering buying one my information to use is to consider another! Its nots worth the money

It is the most delayed phone I have ever seen, also the camera is so bad, but you can't really expect much from a VGA can you really.
It is also so not user friendly at all, everything is all over the place.

This Motorola V3 is alright. The design is pretty good. But this one time when I dropped it the screen went white for about 10 seconds & same with my friends phone it always does that when you drop the phone. If you are a person who likes to listen to music don't buy this phone you can only hold about 5 songs maybe not even that, so I think this phone is just good for its design.

Had no trouble with memory etc. So easy to use with all the features you need. So slim-fantastic the way that it would fit in my pocket & I would even forget that it was there.

EVERYONE TOLD ME HOW GREAT THIS PHONE IS. WELL, EVERYONE SEEMS TO BE WRONG. I HAVE HAD MINE FOR ALMOST 5 MONTHS. The BATTERY LIFE IS HORRIBLE. I HAVE TO CHARGE MY PHONE AT LEAST ONCE A DAY. The PHONE ALSO SEEMS TO HAVE A MIND OF ITS OWN. The CAMERA IN IT WORKS ONLY HALF OF the TIME! EVEN WHEN IT DOES WORK, the PICTURES ARE NOT CLEAR. MOST OF the TIME WHEN I TAKE PICTURES WITH IT YOUR BOTTOM HALF IS ABOVE YOUR HEAD. NOW, YOU TELL ME HOW THAT HAPPENS!
IF YOU ARE OUT IN DAYLIGHT WITH IT, YOU CAN NOT SEE the SCREEN UNLESS YOU TAKE IT SOMEWHERE WITH SHADE. NOW the PHONE JUST POWERS ON & OFF ON IT'S OWN. SOMETIMES IT WORKS & SOMETIMES IT DOESN'T. The ONLY THING I LIKED ABOUT the PHONE IS THAT I CAN HEAR REALLY WELL ON IT. THAT'S IT. The BATTERY COVER ON the BACK DOESN'T STAY ON WELL EITHER. BUT I AM TOLD THAT ALL THESE PROBLEMS ARE NOT ABLE TO BE COVERED BY the MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY. AGAIN I REPEAT, I BOUGHT THIS PHONE ALMOST 5 MONTHS AGO. JUNK!
DO NOT LET YOUR WIRELESS CARRIERS TELL YOU IT IS GREAT! BECAUSE THEY WILL TELL YOU THAT. IT ISN'T WORTH the MONEY PAID FOR IT. I WOULD NOT recommend THIS PHONE TO anyone.

Useful phone for general use, however it has proved rather unreliable. After about 8 months I encountered problems with the phone seeming to have a mind of its own. I am told that many people are having problems with the key pad, mine seemed to bear this out. The number 2 keeps on repeating itself, as if someone is repeatedly typing this in, making the phone unusable. This has occurred more frequently & is now completely useless, in less than 18 months, don't buy one, ever.

I quite like this phone but if, like me, you want to store lots of songs, videos, pictures it isn't very good! I've had this phone for a year now & just looking to get a different one. The design is lovely I think but you can't do a lot with it, it's good for people who use phones for phones though.
The bad points are,
- When doing a voice record it comes out really quite. - Mine kept asking me to 'insert sim' although it was already in.
It depends what you want in a phone thought so if you just want a stylish working phone then this is fine but I personally don't like it. Not enough space.

It has NO memory card! & with like 30 pictures you can only hold like 3 songs! & then when you have to put in your sim pin number mine repeatedly didn't work! Then the volume suddenly went up & down. I have owned this phone for 2 years. I used it thought out Europe & the Caribbean. Chips from several phone companies were use & all worked & connection was good. The phone worked over a variety of different phone networks. However the screen is impossible to read in sunlight but is of good quality in the dark. Battery life is good when new but there is little warning that you are about to run out. Always charge at 3 bars. The buttons on the side are a very bad design feature. In a pocket the phone keeps changing its settings. The software to link the phone to the PC address book is very limited & only support Outlook so Lotus Organiser users beware. The phone is strong but I have just broken the small outer screen while in my pocket. Camera is good.

I have had my V3 for 2 years now (1 year contract then 1 year PAYG) & its still working fine. I don't know how everyone's is mucking up. I really love this phone & it's been a fantastic phone. Unlike other phone you really can customise this e.g. Have ring & vibrate on at the same time (e.g. Samsung u600 can't). Also there are no annoying start-up & sent message tones. Its little things like that, that I like.
The memory is rubbish & the camera is too. But I like my phone for making calls & texts. This is a simple phone & easy to use. Also the centre direction buttons can be customised to whichever shortcuts you want.
Only bad thing is you can't read texts using the outer screen. Forgot to mention, the wallpaper from the inner screen is copied to the other one albeit at lower quality. Like I said, I pay attention to the small things.

Bad things include:
- Texting & using the dictionary
- Contacts book
- Buttons on the side keep changing the ring setting
- Battery life lulls you into a false sense of security, you appear to have ages then suddenly, nothing
- Reliability, keep getting 'please insert sim card' messages, when there's a sim in there
Looks nice though, & because it's a flip type you can't accidentally 'phone people when it's in your pocket.

Arent I smart? anyway I then upgraded to the LG chocolate phone in black (I was getting sick of the hot pink of the Motorola anyway)& this is an excellent phone. I think this phone is alright but it's a bit rubbish as well because the camera is easy to use & simple but the quality isn't very good & makes you look a bit hazy sometimes. The buttons are easy to press which makes texting easy to do. The memory is appalling & I could only fit one MP3 song on it at a time. The colour (pink) scratches off easily to show a rough sort of texture & when you flip the phone open it damages the cuticles on your thumb! It is a nice simple phone but you can do better.

The battery life is fine if Bluetooth is switched off but doesn't last long if it's left on.
It's a little frustrating that the buttons on the side are easily pressed if the phone is in your pocket & it can change settings etc which you don't want.
Infra-red would be nice as not all phones have Bluetooth yet.

Had it on a building site most of the time being dropped, hit etc & it didn't flutter an eye lid until 3 days ago when for no reason at all the writing on the screen started flickering, so I closed it & opened it to find a white screen. That was it dead.
I couldn't be happier to see the back of it, the phone is soooo slow, from browsing to playing games it is a terrible phone. The cam is shoddy, the battery isn't great, dust gets behind the screen so it can't ever be cleaned, big delays when trying to take a call or type a text msg when there is only about 10msgs in the inbox. With all the problems I have had I forgot why I ever paid good money for it, the looks. Which now look dated & poor. Mind you it makes a pretty good paper weight, only thing is I don't like looking at it.
Oh & not to forget! The Motorola software for the PC is the biggest load of rubbish to ever be installed on my poor PC, she is still recovering from it.

I have had my RAZR V3 Black for about 20 months now. I stopped using it about three months ago when I became eligible for a contracted upgrade & chose an all-signing-all-dancing Nokia N series (generic grey brick) but I've recently started using the V3 again.
Sure, there are issues with the modest memory & VGA camera but frankly I am never going to take 'great pictures' on my phone - this one or any other. The same goes for memory (particularly music storage). Until a phone is released that has the capacity of a good ipod (40GB+) & the camera spec of a current top of the range Canon, I will be using my digital SLR for photos, my ipod for music & my V3 for phoning, texting & maybe taking 'fun' photos in the pub.
As a PHONE I find the V3 RAZR convenient, intuitive, stylish & hardy - 20 months without a scratch after numerous falls on the street. The aluminum body is obviously going to be sturdier than plastic & it makes my Nokia 'upgrade' look like a ludicrously over functioned fisher-Price toy.
It looks great & does what I need it to do. Period.

If you want a phone that slips into your pocket, makes calls conventionally or via wired & Bluetooth headsets, has good predictive texting (learns your most common words & abbreviations), is able to synch with your PCs contacts & calendar, then this could be for you. If you want a music player or a camera, you might be disappointed.
It's small, light, reliable (nearly two years no problems), tough (dropped it a few times no problems).
The synch software, Motorola Phone Tools, costs extra for the full version & is very flakey.

I got a black one, so I didn't have any trouble with the colour coming off like my friends with the pink one had. But it froze CONSTANTLY, the camera was shocking, the memory on it was useless & the buttons peeled right off!
EVERY SINGLE PERSON I KNOW with THIS PHONE has had ONE OR MORE PROBLEMS with it! My boyfriend has the exact phone & has taken it in once for the keyboard breaking, it then came back still broken as they put it back together wrong. The second time was because it wouldn't stay on! & he is taking it in tomorrow because it does things on its own! Deleting things, calling people. IT'S RIDICULOUS!

The memory is the worst you can store about 2 songs max! I am now getting a Nokia hopefully it's better than the V3! DON'T BUY A Motorola!

Motorola's are really easy & simple to function, & if you still can't figure out what to do, it comes with a booklet that explains everything. This phone is a great phone. It's good for everyone.

I got this phone for Christmas, I hate it. The only good thing about it is design. Don't buy it!
Especially if you like getting music, pictures & games from your mates, mine could only hold one song! & I kept having to delete a load of stuff to free the memory up so I could store contacts. The camera is rubbish as well its goes all blurry.

I was going crazy at first about this phone but after buying I am soo soo disappointed.
- The quality of the camera is extremely poor
- The video is terrible the tiny memory will leave you having only up to 2 songs & photos that are horrible quality
- If you type messages quickly in dictionary mode. Just don't do it because you stop & it's still trying to type the complete word after one hour
- Freezes easily
- Breaks & dents easily
The only (good) thing about this phone is maybe the design. For some this would be absolutely perfect. But I am looking for more of a useful phone & not just for show. Now I am thinking of the Sony Ericsson z550i
One word of advice: don't buy this phone
Reviewer: Shaan - Harrow, UK

Well I have just bought this phone in December 2006 for Christmas.
It is a very good looking phone, very stylish & is very easy to use. Simple & easy functions.
Although I would recommend something other than Motorola. For the data cable set up it took me hours to configure it. Not easy doing that & is very time consuming.
This phone was the best in 2002. So it has OK features. This is a good first phone, but after few months I had experienced using the phone boring & too simple for my delights.
I would recommend you to buy another provider e.g. Sony Ericsson. In this day & age there are many extremely better phones than the v3. It's got excellent looks, bad specifications. Not advanced & easily breakable. It is not robust & would recommend you buy a case for it.

I loved the look of this phone when I got it a year ago but after a week I couldn't wait to get rid of it! I still have it as the contract was 18 months so I am grinning & bearing it!
- I find texting difficult - I think it's very user-unfriendly, even with itap on. Before I was used to a Nokia but even after a year I can't get used to the V3.
- The camera is poor quality & you can only store a few images due to the small memory size.
- I don't like the way the phone-book is set up - I like to have one name for a person, & all their numbers (work, home etc) stored within. You can't do that on this phone.
- I have had endless problems with the PC software to copy your pictures, ringtones etc on or off the phone.
- If the phone is in my pocket the ring styles change easily by the side button getting pressed when you're just walking along!
- I think the battery drains very quickly.
In fact, the ONLY thing I like about this phone is the look of it!

Good first phone or second phone:
- VGA camera (a bit dodge & blurry)
- Video recording (only 20 to 30 seconds depending on memory)
- Bluetooth
- MP3 you can only really hold 10 songs
- Takes OK pictures but can be a bit blurry
- Awesome design very thin & light weight (best thing about it)

This phone is outstanding in terms of design. Stylish yet durable keypad but shortcuts buttons & functions need time getting use to. The 2 bad things for me on this phone is the video recorder. Video is blurred & the small memory that will force you to sacrifice the quality of photos.

I had to have a pink razor, so in January (07) I shelled out the expense. I was warned by several about battery problems, but figured it was just exaggerated. It definitely had it two months now.
I have had many phones, & never have I had the coloring come off a phone, as I am not hard on phones & it is out on the table when home, in my purse when out. But all the edges & where the battery charger plug inserts, as well as a spot on the back rubbed off (pink coloring) showing silver, it looked terrible within a month. I guess I was meant to get a different phone, as today it ended up falling into the washing machine as I was putting in clothes (water filled) & it is a dead razor now. Going over phone reviews to figure out what to try next. I loved the razor before owning one, & it was a waste of a lot of money.
My daughter has a Sony Katana & there is a really nice phone for you, too bad it does not take a sim card, because I am a Cingular customer. That is the phone I really want, but would have to switch to Sprint & will not do that. I am looking at the Nokia 7390 or 7373. My husband still uses his outdated Nokia analog phone from five years ago & refuses to go to anything else. I can testify he gets signal everywhere I cannot get signal with the newer phones, so am hoping the new Nokias are as dependable. We will see I guess as probably going with one.

The phone itself is gorgeous (mine is black).
The features are also great. The ringtone composer is a nice touch. The ringbones that came with the phone weren't really much of anything, I had to buy the cord that would connect it to my computer & then import my own ringbones. It doesn't read WAV files.
The camera is great. I use it for most of my photo shooting.
The only real downside is that it won't let you delete or edit any of the preloaded wallpapers/ringbones/videos, so they are just sitting there taking up memory.

Well I agree with all those who said this phone is brilliant, it has a great screen good design & is easy to use:
Bad points:
- Extremely low memory
- Not best camera
Good points:
- Good design
- Easy to use
- Small
If you're going to get this phone be aware it has low memory which is not expandable. The phone has talent but I would suggest the V3i simply because better paint, greater memory & doesn't change shape with extras (not thicker then v3).

At the moment I have the Sony Ericsson K800i on & 18 month contract with Orange! The phone is terrible & I can't wait to get & upgrade. (It is so bad I am never upgrading to a Sony Ericsson again! ) -
My next choice is the Motorola MOTORAZR V3 in either black or silver, Compared to the S.E K800i it is extremely thin & I will have no trouble getting it in & out of the pocket! The 1.23 Megapixel Camera is good, I would be downgrading on the camera but I only view them on the flip screen anyways so what is the point of having a 3.2 Megapixel camera? The layout is good, it's really easy to use!

I cancelled a very good contract in order to get this phone - I really wish I hadn't. In keeping with Motorola standards, there were battery problems - after 6 months the battery remained permanently at one bar & would not charge for more than a few seconds. Even at the start the battery life was quite poor. WAP Internet browsing was somewhat slow & tended to lose the connection. Also the phone would get very hot at times - too hot to continue a long phone call. The shape & design meant it was sometimes somewhat slippery & awkward to hold. On the plus side, I would say that the predictive text software is very intelligent & quite different to other brands - I particularly liked the fact that it would attempt to complete the word after two or three keystrokes. The keypad itself was very smooth & easy on the thumbs & there was a large, clear display with good contrast. Not the most feature packed model.

Okay, if you live on the street & need a phone which is a handheld PC, a video camera, a PS2, & a mobile home, you will be disappointed, but most people got that kind of facilities in their homes. So if you just want a great mobile phone you can carry in any pocket, a TFT screen which works great, even in sharp sunlight, that's what you get.

You can customise key positions (to make it more like a Nokia which I was used to). Battery life has died a little, so replaced with a long life one on E bay for £5.00! It looks great! Especially in black. Sleek & stylish- makes you feel important. It hides discreetly in any pocket. But that's about all I'd compliment about this phone.
The user interface isn't very friendly. The camera isn't great. The silver keypad chips away at the slightest scratch of a fingernail. I have to charge it every 2 to 3 days to avoid it dying on me. It lags- I can finish typing my message & it will fully appear on the screen 2-3 seconds later.

I've always been wary of Motorola mobiles since I had one of the horrible giant brick things that were trotted out on Pay as you Go years ago. When I first saw the RAZR, I wasn't overly impressed until I found some of the sites dedicated to modding them (try modmymoto.com) & the way you can change the appearance in so many ways.
I got my hands on a used V3, promptly 'flashed' it with the latest firmware, added a couple of new 'skins' & changed the font.
It's as fast as any Nokia or Sony Ericsson I've used. The UI isn't quite as intuitive as some, but then no mobile phone has a UI that works perfectly.
The looks are fantastic & it's not as wide as some people make out, unless you've got tiny hands.
Yes, the lack of memory isn't great if you want to fill it with MP3s, but then why not just buy an iPod?
Most of the problems people have raised in other reviews have been fixed in newer firmware releases. If you have even half an ounce of PC knowledge, get onto the website I mentioned & follow the guides!

Purchased in April 2006, for birthday present, within two months phone would not charge or switch on.
When returned to shop was sent back to Motorola for investigation, & returned unrepairable due to damage - dropped. No refund or replacement offered.
Not satisfied I contacted Motorola & informed them that there was not even a scratch on the phone so not sure what they meant by dropped, to be advised that the inner circuit board had been cracked. Having owned several phones was very disappointed, as it is impossible to handle mobile phones without the occasional knock. Should have bought the Samsung, slide phone, even it is was £20 dearer

We took it back to the store today, but were told that since it's been more than 30 days (it was 47 days), we're stuck with it, & it needs to be sent away for repair.
No amount of coaxing could convince the carrier to exchange for a new unit. We'll wait for the phone to be returned to us, but we'll not be renewing with this phone or carrier at the end of the contract.

But the phone quality was tinny, the signal was weak, & the predictive text left a lot to be desired. No one could hear me on the other end of the phone. The battery life was poor to average. I warned so many people not to get this phone, they did, and they definitely regretted it. I know someone who got a pink v31 which snapped in half.

Had an original v3 RAZR since Oct 2004 (2 yrs) now & not a problem until today. Opened the phone & the date display said Sunday 20th Nov. No, it's not I thought, it's MONDAY 20th Nov. Tried every reset imaginable, but the phone still insists its a Sunday, even though it tells me yesterday the 19th was also a Sunday - correct!
The only other gripe I have, in common with most users, is the screen picking up grease & fingerprints from the keyboard. Oh how I regret peeling off the protective plastic sheet when I first opened the package. Suppose I could always wear latex gloves when I use it, but I am probably on the wrong website for that topic!
Would I recommend this phone, yes. If you want a phone with huge memory for playing MP3's & the latest 3.2MB camera, then don't look here. If you want a dependable solid phone, that fits in your pocket, will not fall apart tomorrow & will still be acceptable in public in a year's time & does what it says on the tin, then you won't go wrong with this phone.

Hi all, loving the informative reviews on this site. I am looking at getting a new phone to replace my RAZR & am getting some really useful ideas about which phone cut it & which don't.
I am reviewing this phone as a warning to those considering getting one (although in terms of mobile years this phone is getting old now! ) I have had mine since April 05, & am about to throw in the towel with it & my phone provider. I was originally drawn to it for its looks as I would say a majority of people would be, & for that alone I give Motorola praise. After having two Nokia's stolen out of my bag at nightclubs I decided that I needed a phone slim enough to keep in my pocket at all times & it's served it's purpose for that very well (I am a fashion fiend & fell in love with it's looks too)
Only after 5 months did I notice how average the battery life was, even replacing mine with a fresh one & trying to limit usage for a couple of days did nothing to improve on this.
Texting is an absolute nightmare. So frustrating, & I am a fairly patient sort of gal. Forget responding quickly as Motorola are still behind the eight ball when it comes to predictive text input & ease of use. The interface is sometimes tricky & confusing as well as so called 'short cuts' which don't actually help you get somewhere within your phone quicker.
Most recently, mine has taken to switching off completely when I flip it open to use, & the predictive text has decided I don't need to speak any sort of coherent English any more offering me a selection of gobeldy gook instead of what I need to write.
I know I am not alone in these experiences & I hope that the big boys at Moto are listening to all of us, as they do create sleek looking phones, but can they make ones that don't act like Paris Hilton. Shiny, slim & attractive to look at but not much going on the inside? (Unless of course you like that sort of thing he he) They've lost my vote to a little Sony Ericsson number that has brains as well as looks & it will take me some major convincing to trust a Moto again.
I am off to lick my wounds & sign up to a new contract :) Avoid this phone like a 3am kebab, seems like a good idea at the time but you might end up regretting it later.
Hope this helps!

I think the phone looks & feels great but I have had no end of problems with the battery. I only bought it in March & it has spent 2 sessions of 5 weeks each at Motorola being mended. Still no resolution, Motorola have been very difficult & I will never buy from them again.

OK. I had my moto for about 6 months. I was texting 1 day & the buttons messed up completely. Going crazy, putting anything it wanted to. My mum sent it to England to get it fixed & this took about 2 months! Only yesterday they told my mum that it was waterlogged. Which is impossible because I always carry a bag + has been knower near water! They say this to all their customers that they get problems with. It's happened to at least 5 of my mum's friends. Another thing, it can only hold 1 song, the picture quality is USELESS. & it's VERY slow!
I would NOT recommend this phone!

The RAZR V3 may look stylish, but with 5mb memory, you should not get this.

I must say this phone is fairly good. Although I have had problems. When i first got it i thought it was stuffed because i had no idea how to turn it on. Yes I know it sounds stupid but you can't just hold the power button & it will turn on, you have to press it once till the key lights turn on then hold the power button then wait like close to a min for it to boot up. But with a little HEX EDITING you can change it to just pressing it once it will turn right on. Fixes that problem. Another problem is the space on the phones memory. At first you have around 5mb. Rubbish if you want full songs on your phone. With all the rings you get preloaded on your phone by Motorola that you cant delete. But with a lil program called MOTOKIT you can delete them & get a lot more space. With mine i have around 8mb. I have heard a max of 10mb has been achieved. Still real bad for full mp3s. Camera is not to great. Very underexposed in indoor conditions. Very bad quality. Very blurred. Real bad shutter speed. Video camera is ok but very low frame rate. I found when i had first made a call the volume of the caller was fairly low & could hardly hear the person in mall type conditions. Again with MOTOKIT helped with that problem. Another problem was the vibrator in the phone is very weak. Its like a PS2s DUALSHOCK divided by 50! After about a year my volume buttons had mucked up so i couldn't turn it down. So again with a little bit of help from MOTOKIT i change a few buttons around & turned it down. Even though one button isn't in use. I also hated the fact that exchangeable cases are out of the story. But with a read up on a few sites & checking ebay for cases i had found a darkish blue case for my silver v3. Looks a lot better than the silver. I also found that the battery cover had a tendency to just fall off after a use of a year. I would close the flip & that would nudge the cover right off. This phone has a very good design. In calls its real easy to hold. The buttons on the keypad are very nice to touch & very spread apart for easy use. The quality of the screen is fairly good. I'm real into photoshop use & i cut all my images from the pc to my phone size for very high quality images. The pictures come out very nice & sharp. But using the camera has a tendency to blur so not the best option to use as wallpapers. Also wallpapers don't support GIF animations. First frame of GIF will be used. Screensavers support GIF animations. PC transfer is very frustrating because of its timing out & slow transfers. To give you a rough idea a 30 second ring with 128 kbps Stereo will take about 2 mins to transfer over. Uploading songs, pictures, videos are a breeze. Very quick upload times.
If you like the v3 design. Go for a Motorola V3i where camera is better & it supports memory sticks for expandable memory. Nothing great for the RazrV3 but its a bit better with the v3i.
Thanks for reading my review.

Don't like this phone at all. Whilst it's nice & slim, the clam opening is huge. Feels flimsy, gets really grubby quickly. Am now upgrading to a Samsung Z400.

I've had it for 6 months now. Love the slim design. Not having a phone bulging out of my pocket was the main attraction for buying the V3. For me it has plenty of features, but if you like to text a lot, DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE. It is incredibly slow once you have a few messages in your Inbox & are texting a long message. As an example I regularly find myself half way thru a text only to have to stop & wait for the phone to catch up as it can be up to 8 words behind. I don't consider myself a super fast texter (I'm over 40), but this is really hopeless to text with. As someone else mentioned, answering calls you normally have to wait up to 5 seconds before the phone connects so you're repeating "Hello".
Conclusion: If text is not a priority & you want a slim phone then you'll love it. If you like to text please stay right away from this.

This phone looks great & fits into anything anywhere!!!! The software is bad like you can ever imagine!!!!!!!!!!!!! It gets dirty in no time, & you'll wonder why. The battery life is the worst of its lot. Motorola batteries in general are horrible. Software bugs are its specialty!!!!! Maybe Motorola out sources to Microsoft!!!!

This phone is really terrible. It looks great & is really trendy but the fact that it is sooo slow sometimes it takes 5 seconds to answer the call after flicking up the lid ruins it. The design is absolutely awful. the rubber bits on the keyboard pick up grease & dirt from ur finger tips then bamm when u close the lid you get all the grease & horrible marks over the screen. I am sick & tired of cleaning the screen very 5 minutes. I'm gettin rid of this phone as it poor design has made this phone one of the most disastrous phones on the market to date.

I got my razr about a month a go. I think it is a good design, but I now am getting fed up with it the memory is rubbish, the games are boring, & it is not very loud I keep missing calls, & I getting fed up with cleaning the screen all the time because it gets so dirty. also it has just the same programming as a Motorola v547 (e.g. I mean the menu etc ) so I was very disappointed & would advise any one thinking of buying one to choice something else or if you are thinking of buying one & you someone who has one ask to borrow it for a couple of days.

Thought it was great but can get boring after about 2 or three weeks. Not a lot to do, games are rubbish & I had a lot of problems with it as from the first day! E.g., certain pictures won't load as my wallpaper! Very frustrating. Also, the battery sometimes doesn't want to charge & it's not my mains because i've tried a lot of places! Anyway, it's a good design, very stylish (I have the pink one!)... But I wouldn't recommend this to you. I'm thinking of buying the LG Chocolate on contract soon & i've only had this phone for just over 7 months.

The very striking & radical looking design from Motorola, it is great. It's very slim so sits in the pocket really comfortably, comes with a nice keypad which is set out well & easy to use. You receive perfect reception every time even in remote areas with the built-in technology & with the video playback you can capture your world in style.

Got the aluminum finish colour it's well trendy & as far as I am aware is the thinnest clam shell style mobile phone on the market & comes with a metal keypad & reacts with the lightest of touches which makes it very easy to navigate. The screens are both of a high caliber & provide the brightest of colours, truly unequalled in the field of mobiles. It comes with the facility to download videos from the Internet & also incorporated in this model is the function of video playback which has great sound quality. It comes with Bluetooth where you have the freedom of a wireless connection. The only downside to the V3 as far as I'm concerned is it's a bit wide for my hands & a bit tricky trying to open it, this is only my opinion. But a top rated phone. You'll love it.

Luv this phone, truly beautifully, sexy phone, but it marks so much, I am forever wiping the finger prints off it & when I use it my make up really sticks to it. I hate it looking messy, but it tends to most of the time. Battery is a bit disappointing but not totally run out on me yet, just needs regular charging.

I can understand people wanting this one it's very thin & look's so cool. I have found it very easy to use the keypad which is touch sensitive which suits me. It's got it all, great camera, video technology & the connection you get with this phone is the best one I ever had. On the down side it comes with only one port, so you will need to have a Bluetooth headset if you want to charge your phone & talk at the same time.

But if you want a top of the range mobile then look no more because here it is. Very classy & stylish, all set in a high tech casing. One word GORGEOUS!
