Motorola Q 11 Review

The Q 11 is a Smartphone complete with a QWERTY keyboard designed by Motorola. This feature packed Smartphone comes with easy to use Internet, messaging & communication features as well as a camera & music player to entertain the user. The Motorola Q 11 is a slim Smartphone which measures 11.7mm deep & weighs 15 grams including the battery. The Q 11 is from the same range as the Motorola Q 9h Smartphone which is another stylish Smartphone designed by Motorola. This Smartphone comes with a large TFT screen which measures 2.4 Inches when measured diagonally from corner to corner & comes with a high resolution colour display. The user can view up to 262k colours on the screen & enjoy a screen resolution of up to 320 pixels by 240 pixels. A QWERTY keyboard can be found below the screen which allows the user to input text at high speeds & comes with a highlighted numeric section which makes the number keys stand out which is useful when the user in inputting contact numbers. The Motorola Q 11 comes with a Windows Mobile® 6.1 operating system. The user can personalise their home screen & use their Q 11 just like they would their home or office computer using calendar, email & contact synchronisation. This Smartphone comes with 64 megabytes of RAM memory plus 128 megabytes of internal flash memory. The handset supports a memory card slot which allows the user to add a memory card up to 32 gigabytes in size for a large amount of memory storage.

The Motorola Q 11 comes with a built in music player which allow the user of this amazing Smartphone to enjoy music entertainment with them wherever they go. The built in music player supports many music formats including MP3, MIDI, AAC, AAC+, WAV & WMA to name a few. The user can give their handset a personal feel by changing the handsets ringing tone & alerts to suit the users taste. The Smartphone supports both MP3 format ringing tones & polyphonic sound ringing tones. A built in digital camera feature allows the user to capture still pictures & record video clips on their Q 11 handset. The camera comes with easy to access settings & controls which allow the user to quickly operate this fun feature. The camera is a 3 megapixel digital camera & the user can use the 2.4 inch colour screen as a picture view finder. The user can use the 8 x digital zoom function to get up closer to their subject when taking a picture & use the built in flash to capture pictures in darker surroundings. The user can share their pictures with others by sending a picture using the picture messaging service or simply upload their pictures to their favourite social network website for all to see. The Motorola Q 11 comes with video playing capabilities which allow the user to playback their video recording & video sent from others. This Smartphone supports high quality video playback in MPEG4, H264 & WMV format & the user can enjoy viewing their video at up to 15 frames per second.

The Q 11 comes with a rechargeable battery which is recharged via the power adapter & when fully charged the user can gain up to 7.5 hours talk time on their handset or up to 195 hours standby battery time when the handset is not in use. The Motorola Q 11 supports worldwide roaming & will automatically switch between the four GSM networks but the full network coverage is dependent on the network service provider. The handset supports EDGE technology & GPRS which allows the user to experience high speed data transfer rates when transfer data between the Q 11 & other compatible devices. The WiFi technology allows the user to use a wireless connection to either a local WLAN or hotspot to connect to the Internet. The Smartphone supports Boingo Mobile which will automatically connect the handset to WiFi locations worldwide. The Q 11 supports easy to use connectivity options which allow the user to use a cabled connection or Bluetooth® wireless connection between devices. The user can connect their Motorola Q 11 to other devices including a computer or printer by using the connectivity options available.

An integrated GPS navigation feature allows the user to enjoy popular navigation applications such as Google Maps™ on their Smartphone. The user can find out directions & locations using the built in GPS feature. The Motorola Q 11 comes with a variety of call features which allow the user to communicate with others using the call features to suit the user's needs. The Smartphone comes with call lists which log calls made, calls received or missed calls, a hands free call feature over the handset speakers & the user can enjoy a conference call with others. A built in Web browser allows the user to access the Internet to enjoy a fully mobile Internet experience on this Motorola Smartphone. The Q 11 supports a selection of user friendly messaging features which allow the user to communicate with others without making a call. The user may chose to send an email, text message, picture message or even use the online instant messaging service. The user will never have an excuse for not staying in contact with friends, family or business contacts. The picture message can contain either a video clip or picture complete with sound & text which can then be sent to any MMS compatible contact. An instant messaging service allows the user to communicate with others that are currently online at the same time as the user by sending instant text or symbol messages to each other. The instant message service works like an online text chat & is the same as the instant messaging service on the user's computer but this service is mobile. The user can enjoy communicating & much more on the sophisticated Motorola Q 11 Smartphone.
