The Motorola Jewel is a luxurious & elegant mobile phone which is called a jewel due to the truly jewel like design. The phone comes with a crystal cut & jewel effect designed casing which has a distinctive mirror effect. The handset is available in a subtle silver coloured casing complete with a stylish purple coloured keypad. This fashionable handset will turn heads on its looks alone & the jewel cut design reflects the light which makes this handset truly dazzling. The Motorola Jewel is also known as the MOTOJEWEL™. The Motorola Jewel has a flip action opening system which is easy to open to access the main screen & keypad. The user can view information including music information on the hidden external screen when the handset is in its flip closed position. The external screen is subtly hidden when not in use as it has a seamless design but when it use this external colour screen shines to allow the user to view their desired information. The Motorola Jewel pays resemblance to other Motorola fashion phones such as the popular Motorola PEBL & the Motorola U9, as all the fashion phones from this range come with smooth flip opening designed casings & with stunning looks. When the user opens their handset they will find a good size colour screen on the back of the opening section of the handset & a keypad which in situated on the lower section of the handset. The Jewel will neatly fit in the users hand when in use at it measures approximately 90mm tall, 48mm wide & 16mm deep when in its flip closed position. The user will find it easy to carry as it weighs 95 grams which will not weigh the user down when carrying or when in use.

The main feature on this fashionable handset is its fun music feature which will keep its user entertained when the user is travelling or simply on the move. The user can enjoy controlling their music using the external screen as when the music feature is in use the external screen displays touch sensitive music controls keys which allows the use to control their music feature without opening their handset. The Motorola Jewel provides the user with one touch access to their music library which holds all the users favourite tracks. The built in music player supports all popular music playing formats including MP3 format. The music player comes with an automatic pause feature which will pause the music which is playing for the user automatically when a new call comes in. The user can manage their music by using the connectivity options available to add new music by transferring music files from the user's computer. The Jewel supports both polyphonic type & MP3 ringing tones which the user can change to suit the user's ringtone style & taste.

First & foremost the Motorola Jewel is a mobile communication device & with that in mind Motorola have provided some easy to use call features for quick & easy communication. A speaker phone feature allows the user to enjoy a call over the phones loud speakers which means the user can talk to friends without holding the handset to their ear for a totally hands free call experience. The phone book will hold up to three thousand entries at any one time & the user can add & delete contacts when necessary. The phone supports CrystalTalk™ technology which provides the user with a high quality call experience complete with clear call clarity. The built in phone book allows the user to store their contact details & manage their contacts easily. The Motorola Jewel supports a voice dialling feature which allows the user to make a call quickly by using voice activated control. The Motorola Jewel comes with a built in WAP Web browser which allows the user to access the Internet on their mobile phone. The user can communicate with others via email & the Jewel supports push email for a direct email service. The user can create, send & receive text messages & multimedia picture messages on their phone. The messaging services provide the user with a great way to stay in contact with others without making a call.

The Jewel supports Bluetooth® technology which allows the user to connect their new Motorola Jewel to other compatible Bluetooth® devices which are up to ten metres away from the handset. The user can therefore use this wireless connection to transfer data between the two compatible connected devices without the use of cables. If the user wishes to use a cabled connection between their phone & a compatible device the user can use the USB port with a USB cable to connect the devices when transferring data. The Motorola Jewel comes with built in memory & a memory card slot which allows the user to extend the phones memory further. The user can add a MicroSD™ type memory card to extend the phones memory capabilities & the phone comes with four megabytes of built in memory. This fashion phone works on a quad band GSM network & will automatically switch between network bands without the user knowing. The Jewel supports Microsoft Windows Media® player 11 which allows the user to enjoy easy synchronisation. A fitted battery provides up to 6 hours of GSM talk time from a fully charged battery or up to 388 hours of standby battery time.

A built in two megapixel camera provides the user with a mobile digital camera feature complete with video recording capabilities. The camera comes with an 8 x digital zoom feature which allows the user to zoom in or out when taking a shot. The user can use their handset in landscape mode when taking a picture for a wider image capture. The camera supports a multi shot feature which allows the user take multiple shots for a wider selection of pictures. The user can use the two megapixel camera to record moving video footage as well as capturing still pictures. The user can record those funny moments in their day as moving video footage which can be stored on the phone memory or even shared with others. The Motorola Jewel is a beautiful mobile phone which will be admired for its looks & enjoyed thanks to its easy to use built in features.
