I just got a MOTO EM330 about 2 weeks ago. Here are my observations.

Pros.
- 3.5mm audio jack.
- Mini USB connectivity.
- MP3 player supports processing of ID Tag information.

Cons.
- No support, not compatible with Motorola Phone Tools.
- VERY LITTLE space for user apps & games because of large, pre-installed, undeletable phone apps.
- No voice recorder.

I have tried to find other programs that support syncing the address book & calendar of the phone but cannot. I've also tried to delete the games like ZUMA to make space for the stuff I like, but cannot. If it was not for the 3.5mm audio jack & the ability of the phone's MP3 player to read the ID tags of my audio book MP3's, I'd be looking for another phone. But having the phone automatically process & organize the books by titles & authors is its saving grace.

I've had this phone for about 1 month now. At first I wasn't sure I would like it, but as I started using it, I have to say, I am quite pleased with it. The most important thing is the excellent reception it gets & the long lasting battery. I love how you can set calls you don't want to hear on Silent & the calls you want to hear, you can set to different ring tones, then you know who is calling before you even look at the phone. I haven't figured out how to set predictive text, yet. I think I'll have to go to the phone store.

What I don't like is, I have to push the keys harder. They are not sensitive enough for a light touch. Other than that, even though the phone is kind of plain looking, it's a great little phone.

I gave it a nominal 50% for features & usability as I can't really comment on this because the phone broke on the very day I bought it. Trying to get the back off the thing, the catch actually snapped off. It was mega tight & looking at the manual there was no trick to it, just press the catch & lift off, but I don't think they meant lift the catch off! It's going straight back to the shop & I don't want a replacement as I think this is just a bad design.

This is the first time I have bought Motorola, I must say this little phone is superb. It has easy to use functions feels nice in your hand. I like a phone to ring loud because if it is in my bag I can hear it ring. Well the EM330 ticks that box, good sound too. Nice graphics, I have no complaints or quibbles about this phone so much so I am going to buy one for the mother in laws Xmas. Even she will cope with this phone.
