I bought this phone for one reason & that is because I wanted stereo wireless headphone connectivity with the Motorola S9 headphones. I was tired of carrying an IPOD around, getting the headphone wires all tangled up & carrying a separate mobile phone, missing half my calls because I was listening to the IPOD to loud.
I do own an IPHONE which does not support A2DP stereo Bluetooth so that is basically useless. While picking up a Motorola D650 IPOD Bluetooth adapter at the Motorola store, I came across the EM30. Since I had my S9 headphones with me I asked the salesman to connect them via Bluetooth. I listed to one song & I was hooked.
The EM30 sound quality is as good as an IPOD. Secondly, you can add up to an 8GB micro SD card for all your music & photos, so no worrying about running out of space. The display is crystal clear & the photos are sharp & crisp. Excellent slide show feature.
A cool feature is that the song title scrolls across the main screen when it is being played.
The bottom of the phone switches from a blue colour phone to a red colour music player with the play, fast forward, reverse, etc like a MP3 player.
My EM30 has a silver frame around the phone not the red one shown in all the EM30 photos & looks much cooler than the red one.
VR voice recognition software is a cool touch. Simply add all your contacts in by voice & when you want to call them, hold down the call button for 2 seconds until the VR starts talking to you, tell them the contact name & it connects the call automatically.
There are tons of cool features & games with this phone.
All in all I am ecstatic that this phone couples via stereo Bluetooth to the Motorola S9 wireless headphones. The audio is loud & crystal clear, music player in the phone even has EQ settings like a MP 3 player. When calls come in the S9 answers automatically, music stops & then resumes as soon as the phone hangs up.
Phone audio is not stereo, left channel only.
I can honestly say this phone has over exceeded my expectations & I have bought some very expensive phones including a new IPHONE that does not get used at all.
The crystal clear talk means the phone function is very clear during calls & the volume level extremely loud, allowing you to hear well in noisy environments.
Any of your MP3's from your micro SD card can be used for a ringtone & it is loud & clear. No worries about missing your calls because you did not hear them.
Speaker is nice enough to use to listen without headphones.
Being free from wires & being able to listen to my favourite tunes & get my calls by carrying only one device is truly a dream come true.
I have absolutely no gripes at all with this phone. With the pairing of the Motorola S9 headphones have the best possible solution.
Excellent!

I have this superb phone for the last 5 days. I am loving it. It's great. Though initially faced some problems due to switching over from Sony Ericsson to Nokia to Moto. But it is 100% recommended. Especially the change in button feature (separate buttons for music) is very good.
