Hi! I already wrote a review of this phone, but I wanted to write some things out that I forgot to mention before.

Firstly, the Motorola Backflip syncs your contacts from your email, phone, facebook, work email, myspace, etc. While this can be a good feature, it also means that the phonebook gets pretty cluttered with a LOT of contacts. For example, I have many contacts in my email that I don't regularly communicate with, & only email at that. The BACKFLIP brought all those contacts into my main phonebook, & when I deleted them from the PHONEBOOK (to reduce clutter), the phone also deleted them from my actual EMAIL! So I lost those contacts! Really really irritating as you can imagine!

Another thing is that there is no free GPS (like in Nokia phones).

Also there is no multi touch feature, which is not really bothering for me (actually I didn't notice there wasn't multi touch until I read a review online :P ).

The audio quality is great, the resolution crystal clear & sharp. Internet is very fast & reliable. Battery is great! Motorola have given this phone a good big powerful battery.

I have had this phone for quite a while now & I love it!

The design is really unique & it gets a lot of comments when I flip it open. Motorola has done the right thing with the new design. A really cool thing about the backflip design allows a 'table-top' mode, that transforms your phone into a bedside alarm-clock! You can even dim or brighten the display with one simple click when on table-top mode.

Some people might be worried with the keyboard being on the back, but the keys are NOT breakable! (I know that from experience). They are not exactly push-in buttons like on a keyboard, you will have to see the pictures to understand why they won't break.

For the times that you can't be bothered to flip it open, you can use the auto-rotating Android touch keyboard, that works AS GOOD & easy as the iPhone keyboard. I could find no fault with it, & it was as responsive as the iPhone keyboard (for those apple users out there).

The other AMAZING thing about this phone is the BACKTRACK: a touch pad on the back of this phone, that makes browsing text & web pages a whole lot easier. You can even double tap the BACKTRACK, just like you would on your laptop- to 'click' on something.

It comes with everything fabulous you could expect on an android Smartphone: android 1.5 to start (upgradable to 2.1 soon) & the usual fast loading & good user-friendliness. The 5 megapixel camera is great & easy to use, & the flash is really really bright!
There are not too many pre-installed apps, but the Android market has basically everything, so no problem there. You could just use the Wi-Fi & download whatever app or game you want.

The MOTOBLUR feature works great! It does what it promises, syncing all social-networking updates right to you home screen.

Another thing I like about the phone is the 5 home screens that you can customize how you like. The touch is really responsive & fast! If you were to buy the phone JUST for the touch feature you wouldn't be disappointed!

Now for all the people that are thinking that there HAS to be some downsides to this phone, here they are:

CONS:
- the three lights at the bottom of the phone (home, options, & back) do not turn off. So when watching a movie or in table top mode, those three light stay lit & bright. Not very comfortable for your eyes. I counter this by holding my thumb over those lights when watching movies, but it gets tiring. This is the only major fault with the phone

- Lastly, those three buttons on the bottom (yes, again) vibrate when you touch them, & it is impossible not to turn the vibrate off. It's not a big problem & I find nothing irritating about it, but some picky users might not like it.

- It doesn't come preloaded with a notepad (but that can be downloaded from the app store for free so it's not really a problem)

- & that's it! The phone is otherwise perfect, it does everything (& I mean EVERYTHING) the iPhone can do & more! It's a great buy, it's like a little lap-top.
