Misses too many calls claiming it is unobtainable, I have had it in my hand then house phone has rung & friends claim they have just rung the mobile & cannot get through. Full signal as well. But the phone will then happily tell me I have a missed call. It appears this is a problem of these phones. The ring tone is far too quiet. Not a good phone. Best look elsewhere.

I have had this phone for about a year now. I have had no problems with it, a very reliable phone. I would recommend it any day.

Only problem with it is if you have it on silent, the alarm goes off in silent mode (which is vibrate).

Apart from that I love it! Hope this helps.

Known issues with the LG U880, non connection of incoming calls, apparently the problem has not been rectified by LG yet & many incoming calls are not connected with a message indicating the phone is unable to take a call, outgoing calls seem to be unaffected will cost you a lot if you depend on the phone for business.

I absolutely love this phone! Best one I have ever had. I owned the black one first. After I lost it, I bought the same one in pink. Great phones by LG. Tomorrow I am ordering the LG Chocolate & I hope it's not a disappointment after having a great phone like U880.

I got this model on a 18 month contract, & to be fair had no real problems with it, my only real complaint is unless your holding it you can't hear it ringing! I have since gone back to Nokia far easier to use!

I would really advise anyone who wants this phone not to take it into bathrooms or any moist places because I had one & I had it in the bathroom when I was having a shower & the moisture in the air got in to the slot where you plug your charger in & it wrecked it & they will not refund you or give any money back if this happens!

Save your money! This phone is rubbish. Can't hear it ringing at ALL, if the phone is in purse, so very very quiet, but fine if it's in front of you or on your hip. Only has one tone for text messages too, therefore useless. No use if you can't hear it ring! Go Nokia any day! So angry! AVOID AVOID AVOID! :- (

I had a Nokia 6111 & was happy with that. Until I saw the U880, I fell in love with it & wanted one, so I ended up selling the Nokia & buying the LG U880, it is the best phone I have ever seen & used. It is just perfect, well done LG.

Battery life on standby only 36 hrs. I charged up the phone & let it stand idle until the battery died. Alarm clock is irritating because if you put the phone on silent mode, the alarm goes onto vibrate mode i.e. silent. Poor quality camera despite 1.3 m pix. Nokia 1.3 m pix gives superior images. Not sure why-both same settings. Looks good, great sound from tiny speakers, good memory. Easy logic. No stopwatch

Slimmest 3g phone around- very stylish- bought the silver one. Camera quality is good 1.2 megapixels, & you can extend the video camera duration to around 30mins? Instead of 30secs. Texting is on the whole. The only downside is that when texting I sometimes accidentally send the message halfway through as the send key is close. Good battery life

Nice phone all round, I got mine on 3g with a 12 month contract & 12 month free line rental via cash back with 500 mins & 100 texts each month- really good deal.

I have got the pink one & I absolutely love it. One tiny little complaint, that's all. When texting, I often accidentally send the message when trying to delete a wrong letter, cos the send key is just above the clear key. It's annoying but absolutely the only complaint I have with this phone. Absolutely brilliant phone & hope to see many more like it from LG. I used to swear by Nokia's, but not any more.

I have had my U880 for 2 months & its really reliable, fun, easy to use & a great buy. I got it in the black matt colour which is very cool looking but it has already been scratch which is annoying. I love the style of the phone & it's camera, video & music player are good quality. The swivel camera is excellent & it is good for the videoing. Menu has screen, profiles, settings, browser, messages, my stuff, multimedia, contacts, applications, organiser, tools & calling. Menu is easy to access & great to find all you want under such clear labelling. I would recommend this phone to all as it is a great 3G camera phone. 95% all the way.

Was considering getting the Motorola V3 but got the LG U880 as it felt better in my hand & I found opening it easier. The LG U880 is equal to the Motorola V3 in looks & style. My U880 is a brilliant phone & comes highly recommend by me.
