I bought my phone last year in July & I have encountered problems like battery's short life & cannot view My Media folder when I connect it to the computer. It has good memory considering there is no memory card. I cannot recommend this phone to prospective buyers.

This is the worst phone I have ever had. The first week I had it the MP3 player & the camera stuck, the only way to release this was to take the battery off.

I was told this was just a setting fault & the shop changed my settings, this solved the problem for about two weeks & now it happens all the time & of course my return policy had ran out.

The battery runs out after one phone call even though it shows three bars & when I turn it back on the battery is full until you take a picture, make a phone etc.

Just a word of warning to anyone needing a phone with a goo battery, stay well clear of this phone.

Had mine for about 2 years, true the battery life after about a year really does start to be bad & the Bluetooth & it is very selective to who it wasn't to connect to (which is never the person you want! )

Apart from that, the phone is very nice for basic us, nice camera (not the best), & the MP3 is very quiet.

I got this phone for my birthday & I was really happy with it as it is a small, stylish & very cute phone. But once you get to familiar with it you start to change your mind.

The camera isn't the best in the world but still takes some good pictures. The MP3 is very quiet (which was a big disappointment) also you can record you voice for 20 secs only! The features aren't very updated but are good for someone looking for a not-to-complicated phone.

Although the phone has some negative points it is a reliable phone & has lasted me a year without any problems so far (fingers crossed after reading others views on the phone!).

LG should recall this mobile, its one rubbish phone if ever there was one.

Cons
- Camera hopeless, you take a pic & to set it it takes a lot of time by that time its battery is gone.
- Sound very poor sound quality.
- Voice memo only records for 30 seconds?
- Video so so, voice does not record (or may be playback) properly.
- USB drive, phone lights up when connected as a USB drive, shouldn't it just switch off if I can't answer it?
- Web browser only opens Google & I can't input anything in the text fields.
- One year today & the battery lasts just long enough to say 'Please bear with me if the phone disconnects, my battery is weak' & some conversation.
- Keypad is a bit small but manageable. DO not play games if you don't want sore fingers.

Pros
- Phone book is very good.
- Screen is well illuminated, good for dark rooms however in daylight it takes more than a stretched eye to figure out what is on it.
If LG is watching this space then my recommendation to them is just give me a basic phone + phone book (1000 is sufficient) with a good battery life & I will be the first person to but it.

I've had this phone a week & it's a fine phone. It has good things & bad.

Positive points:
Enough memory, good camera, quite easy to use, lots of sounds & options, good features, good MP3 player & clear calls.

Negative points:
At first I couldn't get it to work with my SIM. It would work but couldn't make any calls. I fixed this by pressing: Menu > Settings > Network settings > Band selections >EGSM/DCS

This might help in foreign countries or if you had the same problem as me. A bit slow. Battery is appalling.

My view in this mobile phone is not a very good one. I bought this phone 1 year & 4 months ago & for 5 months it hasn't been working. The battery always goes within a matter of 30 mins, 1 hour even if I charge it up.

When somebody tries to ring me I don't always receive the call.

Not a bad phone, but the battery is pretty bad. Mine was working fine until it decided that it didn't want to charge anymore despite the actual charger & phone being perfectly fine! Now have to by myself a new phone, but I don't think it's going to be an LG again, just because of the problems with the battery.

Neat phone with good features. I love the camera (1.3 MP) with flash, sound is good but had a few problems with the ring tones at first, MP3 player is great but read the manual it will help. S5200 has a very clear display compared to other phones I have used. This is the first LG phone I have used & I would just advise reading the manual before you pick it up & have a go for yourself. It is not the easiest phone to workout. Battery is good & the memory is good but download your photos & video.

Wanted a slide opening phone but not sure if I choose the right phone with the LG S5200. It is a super looking phone & the slide opening is fine but some of the integrated features are a poor. I can't get to grips with the messaging on the S5200 as it is really confusing & makes me totally frustrated. Bluetooth is good & the network coverage is excellent. Not got to grips with the music on this phone at all & the camera is there but not over exciting performance. To be fair it is a good phone if you are a patient person with lots of time on your hands to experiment with it. I would not recommend this phone to anyone I know & I will not be buying another LG mobile phone after this experience.

Best phone ever & I would not change it with any of my friends. My S5200 is works perfectly & is so easy to use. I like the camera & video features best of all & the USB connection is as easy as can be. The one thing that may annoy others is the battery has to be charged every night as the phone is only giving me approximately 3 to 4 hours talk time, but this is not an issue for me. Loving my S5200 & would recommend it to all that are considering getting one.
