LG KS500 Review

The LG KS500 is a 3G slider phone which comes in a sophisticated black coloured casing. The slide opening mechanism is smooth & allows the user to access the keypad with minimal effort. The keypad is well spaced out which allows the user to input text & numbers quickly & easily. When the handset is in its slide closed position the user can still access the call keys, short cut keys & navigation key. The user can view the screen when the handset is either in its slide open or slide closed position. The screen on the LG KS500 is a good size which measures two Inches when measured diagonally. The user can view up to two hundred & sixty two colours on the screen & experience a 240 pixel by 320 pixel display resolution. The LG KS500 comes in a compact but solid style casing which weighs 106 grams in total & measures 14.9mm thick.

This stylish 3G mobile phone comes with 3G video calling camera which is located on the front of the casing above the two Inch colour screen. The user can use this camera to take part in 3G video calls with other compatible contacts & experience a face to face video call on their KS500. A built in three megapixel camera comes with an easy to locate camera key & allows the user to capture still pictures & video on the LG KS500. The user can store their picture in the picture album, share their pictures with others using the built in multimedia messaging service or use their picture as a wallpaper on their screen. The user can play video & record video on their 3G mobile phone. The phone supports video playback in popular video formats including MPEG4, H263 & H264 video format.

The KS500 work over a GSM tri band network & over HSDPA network & will automatically switch between network bands. The network coverage fully depends on the user's network provider. The LG KS500 is a 3G phone which supports 3G HSDPA technology which provides the user with high speed internet connectivity & multitasking skills on this stylish handset. The EDGE technology allows the user to experience fast data transfer rates when transferring data using the connectivity options available. The Bluetooth® wireless technology allows the user to connect their phone to other Bluetooth® compatible devices which are up to ten metres away from the handset. The Bluetooth® technology provides the user with a wireless connection to other devices. The LG KS500 comes with a USB port which allows the user to insert a USB cable to gain a cabled connection between their phone & other USB compatible devices.

A built in music player allows the user to enjoy music entertainment when the user is on the move. The music player supports popular music playback in MP3, WMA & AAC+ music formats. The KS500 comes with a built in phone book which allows the user to store all their contacts names & numbers. The user can access their phone book easily & update contacts information quickly & easily. The user can use a speaker phone feature to enjoy a hands free call experience over the phones speakers. The rechargeable battery will provide the user with up to three hundred hours of standby battery time or approximately four hours of talk time depending on the features being used by the user. The LG KS500 comes with expandable memory card support which allows the user to add a compatible memory card up to eight gigabytes in size. The phone comes with one hundred megabytes of internal memory.

The KS500 comes with a GPS navigation feature complete with an A GPS function which allows the user to get directions & guidance to unknown locations. The user can access the World Wide Web using the built in WAP browser to find out all the information the user needs. The phone supports a text messaging service, email service & a multimedia messaging service. The multimedia messaging service allows the user to send a message complete with a picture or video clip which can be sent & shared with other multimedia messaging compatible contacts. The user can create, send & receive emails on the LG KS500 which can be shared between contacts with an email address. The user will enjoy communicating with others using their new KS500 3G mobile phone.
