I have found this phone a blessing to use at first but now in the last month it freezes constantly & misinterprets the buttons you are pressing. Give me back my LG Viewty or if you want to go there my Sony Ericsson W810i what a phone at least five years old & not one problem. Phones now are built to go wrong it's all a con.

I don't dislike my phone, I do dislike the fact you can't use it outdoors unless it's dark! You just can't see the screen!

& the fact that I don't seem to be able to copy the pictures I've been sent, onto my computer is driving me mad!

Trying to get information on basic functions is a pain too!

Very tempted to say 'Never again'.

This phone is by far the worst phone I have ever had in 8 years. The nice colours you can get do fool you but the phone its self has broken on me over 4 times in under a year. The touch screen isn't great. You can't send texts because the send SMS button doesn't work. It cuts out during calls or turns its self of. Freezes at inappropriate times & seems to always have a faded image of the previous screen. Do not get this phone unless you have the patience of a saint!

I have had this phone since May 2009 & have had nothing but problems with it. I wanted the Nokia N97 but it was unavailable on my network at the time & so I was recommended this phone by Carphone Warehouse who suggested that LG are now top dogs in the mobile phone market. From day dot the phone repeatedly crashed & froze & I was unable to save any schedules in the calendar as I kept getting 'invalid data' errors. The phone is generally slow & clunky & I find that on occasion, I am unable to pick up or end calls as the touch screen randomly becomes unresponsive. Browsing on the web is also poor & you have to zoom right in to be able to navigate through pages & I find that again sometimes the touch screen does not seem to register that I am clicking links or buttons. Also I have another random issue which again happens intermittently when I am writing a long text message & I find I am unable to scroll back up to the top of the message as the screen just bobs around at the bottom of the text. I have had this phone 'repaired' twice but by the looks of it, it is not a problem with my handset but just the model in general. Do not buy this phone, you have been warned!

I have had this phone since July. After just a few days it started to freeze half way through a text & the only way to resolve the problem was to remove the battery. If it wasn't freezing, it was switching itself off. I can cope with a freeze here & there as it was happening about once a week but. I use T9 predictive text & had built up my own dictionary of words & I noticed that every time my phone froze or even if I switched it off myself, all my stored words were erased! Sounds trivial but very very annoying when texting again.

Then my alarm clock started to play up. I was late for work one morning & when I woke up it was still set as normal but hadn't gone off. I put this down to possible human error but couldn't fathom it out as I have it automatically set every day. Some mornings it worked, some it didn't, so I stopped using the alarm clock as it was unreliable.

I took it back to the shop & they told me to do a software update, which I did & I would say the phone was slightly better & didn't freeze or cut off for about 2 weeks then back to square one. I took it back again, they told me the same, I did another software update, this time my phone cut off. I switched it back on & the LG screen came up. & never went away. It's currently in the shop getting 'repaired' which could take up to 28 days & they have given me a replacement phone from the 18th century. Meanwhile I am still paying my full monthly contract!

This phone looks the part, but it's just an unreliable piece of junk. I loved the LG shine, although it started to cut out in the end. I loved the LG Viewty but I will never get another LG phone again, or indeed anything LG.

The features are perfect. The camera is great, the style is simple but elegant. Dolby digital surround sound is great.

Using it is another matter, unfortunately. I should have read reviews first before getting this phone.

- Texting is such a pain. The text input is slow, the predictive text input is automatically turned on every time you start a new message.

- Web browsing is NOT good. Slow, sluggish & you have to shake the phone several times to get the accelerometer working.

- Delayed response when clicking on the cute icons. Not fluid enough for my liking.

I wasted money on this phone, but I am trying to get it swapped with another model.

Hey I like this phone so much I went out & got one after being with Nokia for 3 years. Easy to use when it worked & after making calls to report so problems but they got it working.

So it was going go until the bottom of my screen started to play up so I could not answer calls or do any think so I went to the shop & said I have this problem. They then said yes there was a problem with this phone at the beginning so anyway they sent it off & now I have liquid ingress so they won't repair it. Not happy when I was told that body perspiration can cause this. I have never had this problem before so I am not happy with t mobile, anybody know what is best to do?

This is a cracking phone! It's lovely & easy on the eyes. Its features are endless & the likability is hard to beat. For £370, it's brilliant!

The S CLASS interface is a little bit pointless on some occasions because I never use it but it's amusing & fun to play around with. The touch screen is responsive & easy to work your way around. The texting is simple & easy to use. Looks wise it fantastic!

Copying the lack of buttons & only light sensors like the Nokia 5800 xpressmusic, I really like it & they're really responsive.

You can download a lot of apps & games for the phone & I find that as a woman & I wear powder etc, it doesn't pick the powder or foundation up on the screen like my daughters KS360!

The looks are superb & I reckon it beats the iPhone. The iPhone is too perfect you could say. I LOVE IT!

I recommend though that you buy a £2 LG stylus off eBay though, it helps. It says on most reviews you should purchase a stylus to match. However you should buy the LG ones as a lot of the cheaper ones aren't compatible with the screen. For £2 & free delivery who can go wrong?

Love it x.

Awful phone I have had problems with it from day 1, I am now on my third replacement phone & still getting the same problems. For example can't answer the phone sometimes, text not being sent, constantly freezing & turning itself off also being cut off 50% of the time. I work for myself & my calls are very important for me if I miss 1 it could have been a job & can't afford for a rubbish phone to cost me work. Avoid like the plague.

Don't buy this phone, it is a waste of money. I have had this phone for 3 months & have had major problems with it. I have had messages sent that was never received, the phone freezes up several times, the camera takes ages to respond & the picture taken is nothing like when you clicked, slow to turn on, several calls suddenly disconnected & I work in a job where is it vital to be connected to a phone, several places where the person next to me is on the same network & they can get a signal & I can't. This phone may have gadgets & looks nice but what is the point if it does not work? I have called mobile express several times but they do not wish to know.

This phone is an excellent looking phone with so many features. It does practically everything. Well it should! I have experienced nothing but problems with it. It constantly freezes & crashes, & the only way to reset it is by removing the battery. I transferred pictures to the memory which I couldn't find anywhere in the phone to view, even some music I transferred wouldn't show up in the phone's memory. When I try to access the music player 'please wait' would show up & that would be it. I never got any further. The touch screen can be very unresponsive & can be very slow. Don't even bother with the software. It really is useless. All it did was clog up my PC & then it took ages to exit the software. The phone looks nice, but what good is that if it doesn't work. I have actually sent my phone back today & I am receiving a different model. Really, don't waste your good earned money or time on this one. You will be disappointed, as I was.

Great looking handset (knocks the spots off of the iPhone). Some really nice features too. Unfortunately using it is a TOTAL pain. It's as slow as a long weekend in jail (trust me on that one, LOL) in terms of response time, texting is a nightmare & that's not even with big fingers.

If you're image conscious, go get one but if you're looking for a fast, easy to use multimedia tool avoid this phone at all costs.

This as an alright phone, it seems annoying at first as the touch screen is not that user friendly, some functions will get to you like not being able to look through your files while sending something through Bluetooth the camera on the hand is pretty good, if you are a quick typer this phone is not really for you, Internet is a bit slow, the phone seems to crash & freeze at points. Only reason I am annoyed about getting this phone is that it was suppose to be the iPhone copier but still the phone does not have applications like the iPhone which makes it boring, if it can get applications can someone inform me, overall once you get use to the phone you will feel it's alright, & it tends to stop freezing for some reason.

Where do I start with this phone? Well it freezes a lot, dead slow & not responsive all of the time, will not view my files which I want to view, & when I rang up customer services, all the person could say we can offer you like for like, which I didn't want, so they didn't meet customer requirements, I was very flexible in saying how I'd get a lower contract, less text & minutes, even pay more so I could change the phone, But NO! , If you want to get a new phone & your looking at the LG Arena, don't waste your money!

Brilliant simply brilliant!

What an amazing phone with endless features!

I've only had it a day but I am just finding more & more things to do on it!

I've had the latest Samsung Pixon & then the Samsung Tocco Ultra & I think the Arena is miles better than either of them! The camera on the Samsungs are 8MP & the Arena is 5MP BUT the quality of the Arena was much better than the Samsungs! The pictures come out much better & clearer on the Arena! The only thing I find annoying about taking the photo is you have to keep the phone still until the picture is saved!

Other than that & a little bit harder to text but you will get used to it, its brilliant!

Had this phone about a week, it's locked up on me twice & is due to be returned. The phone is packed with features & has excellent quality video (when working). Navigation of menus takes a little getting used to, & there are a number of latency issues with the phone, for example, texting can be tedious due to a delay in registering the letter to the screen, if you are a quick typer then this can cause problems. Sound quality is very good, as is the overall feel & look of the phone, but the user interface doesn't respond quick enough for my liking.

Good try LG, but still no banana.
