Yeah it's a good phone, everyone is complaining about the software, I also had this problem, but I have a solution, Because the phone has Bluetooth, just go & get a Bluetooth dongle, it's great to be honest, even if you get a new phone with Bluetooth you can use that. You don't need to download anything, just plug it in a USB hole & there you go. They cost as little as £1.
Hope I could help, but apart from that problem the phones great.

This phone is rubbish. The software for it doesn't even work, I can't download music from the computer as the rubbish phone doesn't connect, it just times out. Memory is minimal. Stick to Nokia. LG can't produce good phones.

I love this phone. I hope they release it in 3G with longer battery life & the added 3G features as it would be a truly great phone to own.
I am a happy user of this product.

It's absolutely hopeless, Bluetooth doesn't work when I want it, people can't send me stuff, I can't download animations, I can't download music when connected to PC, I would never ever buy it again.

Very good featured phone, very classy looking better than the Motorola V3.
Strange software though, to get MP3 tracks on you have to go to Settings > Connectivity > Removable Disk > Data transfer & as it starts up plug the cable into the PC then the phone & it detects it as a removable drive.
Only transfer tracks not folders of tracks or albums as it does not recognise the folders. Quality sound & good interchangeable headphones.
I will be looking out for LG new phones as I intend to get another one.

Pretty but flawed. It feels awkward to hold against your ear to speak to people so it's not good for someone who uses their phone a lot. For texting it's awkward to use for someone that wants to properly punctuate their messages & use capital letters for the start of words. Also the dictionary is pretty naff & it doesn't choose the most common words first, for instance it picks he instead of if which is annoying.
No speakerphone so if you're calling a call centre you have to turn the volume up loud & keep your ear close to hear when you've got through to an operator.
Connecting it to your PC is a lottery as to whether it'll connect properly or not & I haven't managed to get a file off the phone yet & only a few files onto it & the memory is limited with no expansion ability so to try & call it an MP3 player is a bit of a joke.
Also when I send long texts it sometimes only sends the first part & cuts off the rest. Also it only ever stores the first 160 characters of a message regardless of how long it was. the battery life is also terrible & only lasts a couple of days & I don't even use it much & I turn the Bluetooth off. The camera doesn't have a light or a flash & it's slow so you have to hold it super steady to get an unblurred picture out of it.
Also it gets smudged & greasy fingerprints on it all the time because of the shiny plastic it's made of & that also means that it scratches & scuffs very easily & I am very careful to not put my phone in the same pocket as any change or keys but it still gradually gets scuffed.
Generally all it has going for it is the screen is clear & large & it's slim & light, other than that I preferred my old Samsung D500 to this. LG have made a powerful enemy, well not really but I'll be avoiding their phones in the future if this is the standard of quality you get.

Nice phone, but I have downloaded music to the sound & play list folders & know they are there, but the phone says these folders are empty, looking on here other people seem to have similar problems.

If you change the selection on the option menu (found near the top of the mobile agent) then the PC can locate your phone - this took me ages to find out. But, even then I can't put any music on because it can't find any of my music files! Good phone - bad computer programme!

The phone looks great. The functionality seems to be good, but I am having problems downloading music. Drivers install the devise as an external modem & does not show this as a storage devise. Any suggestions welcome, please post.
