This phone was my first ever phone, & if technology hadn't progressed so much, I would still have it.

It doesn't have much on it. It's a very basic phone. Maybe that's what makes it so great.

My Nokia that I've had for a year is rubbish & dying. This phone has changed hands in my family since I bought it four years ago & it's still as good as new.

Hardy & reliable, this is a great phone if you're not bothered by fancy features or anything like that.

I have had this phone for 2 years now I have never had any problems with it. For a first phone its great. But if you're looking for a phone with a load of features definitely don't get this. It has a camera, voice recorder that's pretty it really & the voice recorder only lasts for 20 seconds. But it is very reliable, I have even played catch, cricket & tennis with it & not even a scratch. So all in all I think its a great first phone but for features don't buy it.

It's a pretty good phone overall. Sure, the screen is slightly smaller than others, & yes. The camera isn't the best quality out there. But it's still a really good phone. & it's not too bad on the eyes either.

I don't know why a lot of you are writing such bad reviews about this mobile phone. I've had this since April 2007 & since then, hasn't played up on me once.

My old phone (Motorola RAZR v3i) broke in the first few days I've had it, of course, this phone was on virgin so I unlocked it & still hasn't played up. Yes, it has a small screen, not the best camera, occasionally freezes. But it doesn't matter.

It doesn't have Bluetooth, Video, MP3 etc. But it's a mobile phone, NOT A MULTIMEDIA CENTRE. I recommend you buy this phone, there is nothing wrong with it. It's easy to use.

Its an alright phone for a first phone but the alarm tones are good but it has a bad selection of ringtones I mean they should swap alarm tones with ringtones.

Many ppl complain about the camera on this phone. I agree that the camera is not-so-good but if you adjust the brightness its OK - it wasnt really designed for taking photos, the camera just seems to be an added feature. I wish I could put the pictures on the computer, though (according to most websites about phones you can't, but according to this one you can with a USB cable, but I have never heard of that before--? ), & the phone would be better if it had Bluetooth.

I bought this phone 3 days ago, it seemed like quite a good phone for the price, & seemed to have a decent appearance, although calling it black is actually misleading as it has a multi coloured sparkling finish that I don't like. The phone I bought is now repeatedly freezing & then taking a long time to re-establish connection to the network.

I am taking it back!

This site has been very useful in searching for the phone I will get as a replacement, so thank you to those involved with putting this site together.

The design is beautiful. The screen is too small, & the battery runs out quick. I am not happy with the features -there could be a greater range. It's really easy to use, & I am happy with it - overall.

I brought this phone about 2 weeks ago, & the camera is so bad, & the screen doesn't show much colour. Also, it scratches easy. Waste of money.

This is a horrible phone, the screen is so small & the camera is bad. Do not buy this phone! This phone is really bad. The screen & camera are bad, also, the battery doesn't last very long. It's not the best looking either!

This is an awful phone. The screen is really small & the camera is terrible! It scratches easily & the calling seems to have static & isn't loud for both ends. I think LG quickly put this handset together, as it looks similar to Motorola's U6 handset. Then again, LG do copy Motorola, another example is the U890 handset which looks a tad similar to the RAZR V3.

In conclusion, stay away from the KG225!
