Our LG KP108 Review

Overview
The LG KP108 is a compact & very lightweight mobile phone which comes with easy to use communication features, allowing its user to stay in contact with friends whilst they are on the move. The KP108 is a low budget handset complete with basic mobile phone features which are easy to use & practical for its user. It has a bar form design which offers a small designed casing making it easy to carry when not in use. Its design may be simple but it comes with an attractive style casing & a colourful display screen.

Appearance & Size
Its casing is black in colour & is available with either blue coloured accents or red coloured accents. The coloured accents emphasise the edging of the handset & the circular designed navigation control. The casing has smooth edges & its lightweight bar shaped design feels good to hold in the users hand when in use. There is a coloured screen which is 1.52 inches in size & this screen provides a sixty five thousand colour display with a screen resolution of 128 pixels by 128 pixels. This screen is situated on the top section of the front view of the casing & below this screen are well positioned call keys & navigation control with a keypad situated directly below these easy accessible controls. The keypad on the LG KP108 user friendly sized keys which makes numeric as well as alphabetic input easy for its user. The compact designed casing measures 10.1cm tall by 4.6cm wide by 1.29cm deep whilst only weighing sixty five grams, making the KP108 a neat little phone to handle & carry.


Imaging, Media & Entertainment
The user can view colourful wallpapers on their 1.52 inch screen. There is a built in music playing feature which supports music playback in MP3 format. The user can enjoy entertainment on their KP108 by listening to their favourite music or by playing games. The phone comes with embedded games & this handset support Java™ style games. The LG KP108 supports both polyphonic sound ringing tones as well as MP3 format tones, so therefore the user can add new ringtones to suit their ringtone style.

Communication & Messaging
With its simplistically designed call & messaging features the user will be able to stay in contacts with others using the best service to suit their communication needs. The user can access a list of recently missed calls, calls dialled from the handset & call which have been made to the handset, in the call log feature. There is a speaker phone option on the LG KP108 which allows the user to have a call over the phones speakers, which leaves the user hands free to continue with other tasks whilst chatting to friends over the speaker. Its built in phone book allows the user to store up to three hundred contacts complete with contacts names & numbers. The phone book is easy to manage as the user can add, edit & delete their contacts details. A SMS message service allows the user to share messages with compatible SMS contacts which means the user can communicate without making a call. A SMS message can contain text & punctuation style symbols & is a simple method of communication.

Technology & Internet
This handset works over dual band GSM networks which include GSM 900 & GSM 1800 networks. The handset will automatically switch between network bands. There is a USB connection port on the KP108 which allows the user to connect their phone to other USB compatible devices using a USB connection cable. The cabled connection between the two compatible devices allows the user to transfer data between the devices. The fitted battery is fully rechargeable via the power adapter which is provided with the phone, & when the battery is fully charged the user can expect to gain up six hundred & thirty hours of battery standby time or approximately six & a half hours talk time. The LG KP108 comes with internal memory providing its user with a phone book which can hold up to three hundred contacts. There is a WAP Internet browser & the user can gain a XHTML Internet experience on their mobile phone.
