This phone cannot be properly locked & simple pressure in the pocket results in auto switch on & repetitive dialing of last used number.

This phone was good at first but now it is terrible! I've had it fixed three times all because its got fauls! Everytime it has to do with the screen not working,.

Its an alright phone, I've had it since last April & it only has a few scratches on it & all the buttons still work alright.
Although it has a 5MP camera, it lacks quality in the fact it doesn't have flash, making 2MP cameras with flash better than the camera on the phone.
A problem that is extremely annoying, & that I have found on nearly all LG phones is that it unlocks itself, leading to making calls & sending texts. I looked at my phone once & it said I sent 15 messages to the first contact & 7 calls to 999.
Also in the sunlight, you can hardly see the phone display.
A positive thing is that the music player is quite loud & the fact that the casing is durable. It doesn't overheat (well it never has with me) & the battery lasts for a good while.
I would recommend this phone to someone who is getting used to a touch screen.
7 out of 10.

I also had the problem with the phone calling people from my pocket, costing me money & explanations! When I scroll down the address book it picks the number adjacent & starts to phone them. If I keep the address book empty (on another phone) it should cure the unwanted phoning.

Absolutely FED UP with this lousy phone! You have to hammer the screen to get any reasonable response, cannot read the screen properly even in dimmed sunlight & the 'memory full' when waiting for messages is SO annoying. No I find that I cannot send MMS photographs (essential when you have a 1 day old Grandson)! Well I never! , please give me something else! Would I recommend this phone? You tell me!

I have had this phone since Christmas & have had to exchange it once already! But within a month of exchanging it I experienced the same problem as last time! Memory Full. However all my images songs & videos were on my memory card & I still had half of the memory on the card, so I could not understand what was eating up the memory? I have nothing to delete yet only 1% of 100MB is free. How does that work? I am taking the phone back yet again & I am definitely not getting it again!

I have had this phone for about 5 months & its sleek style is nice, its light & it is a OK for a first touch screen, but the problem I have with it is the message part, where if my phone is on, I can receive messages all day without a problem, but the minute I turn it off e.g. In the night, if I have any messages in the meantime, I should be able to receive them as soon as the phone is switched back on but as soon as I do I have an error message that says message waiting, inbox full please delete some messages first, & it freezes the phone to the point I have to take the battery out for it to work, & then the message is lost, I thought I solved the problem by putting messages I wanted to keep in my folder, but I still have the problem even when the inbox is empty, so how can the box be full when there is nothing in it.
I WOULDN'T recommend this phone as I don't think it is that good.

Before buying this phone I looked at lots of reviews & most of them were very positive with only a few minor criticisms. I bought the phone & absolutely loved it, great camera, very interactive, attractive & easy to use.
But after about a month the internal memory was apparently full even though I only had two songs on it & a few images, nowhere near the apparent 100MB that the phone was supposed to hold. I'd also downloaded Facebook & ebuddy applications. So I transferred everything to my external memory. Still the phone said that the internal memory was full, despite the fact there was nothing on it. Anyway I ended up resetting my phone & deleting everything off it but to no avail. I was unable to use the Internet due to the internal memory being 'full.' I've since been informed that the reason for this is due to a design fault.
So basically this phone is great except if you want to use the Internet. If you are looking to use the Internet, stay clear of this phone!

I bought it as my first touchscreen & it's all very good & does the usual but I can't help but think they skimped out a bit. It just seems very simplistic & a little cheap. The camera is OK but I expected 5MP to be a bit better than that?
However it's music playing abilities are awesome & the sound is superb!
Anyway enough whining! Can anyone tell me how you get rid of those annoying 1, 2, 3 numbers that appear at the top of the screen? They are quite large icons & you can assign contacts to them. I don't want them there & I am not even sure how they got attached to the home screen! As usual the manual is about as much use as a KitKat to a skeleton! Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks.

I bought this phone a few weeks earlier, well frankly it is very easy to use & a very comfortable mobile phone. However, I noticed some faults. Firstly, this phone cannot play MP4 videos & I had to convert videos to mpeg4 format in order to play them. Well, this is not the problem, the actual problem is when you convert to mpeg4, the video works fine but the sounds are really weird. When I played songs with its music player, it felt so good but when I played a mpeg4 video (converted) it just felt so lame. Apart from that, very good phone.

This phone is the best touch smart phone in the history, apart from the iPhone of course. Totally wicked.

Very nice design, slim & light the only bad point I find is the features are too close together for a touch screen phone you easily can touch the wrong spot when doing a text & or other things suddenly all you've done has gone you need very slim fingers or plastic pen (not supplied in phone).

Good phone, but for one major problem, the phone will unlock itself in your pocket & call people! The obvious solution is to lock the phone with a PIN code, but, for safety reasons, it's possible to call 999 & 112 without unlocking with a PIN code, so that's not a solution! The second most obvious solution would be to bar all out-going calls: a bit time consuming if you wish to make a call, but if you try to activate call barring, you get a message reading 'unknown error', so it doesn't work anyway!
Another inoperative feature is the RSS Feed application. Quite simply, it doesn't work. Error message 'Parsing Error' every time you try to subscribe to a feed.
The touch screen works fine, although could be brighter for outdoor use. Of course, the QWERTY keyboard's far too fiddly to operate with any success without a stylus (not supplied), & you have to be some kind of a calligrapher to use handwriting input instead of typing.
The music player & camera are both excellent. Call audio quality's good, & the phone's Internet & email capabilities are fine.
Personally, I wouldn't recommend this phone to anyone, unless it was half price, as there are plenty of phones far cheaper with the same problems!

THIS PHONE IS OUTSTANDING! AS WELL AS BEING 3G, IT OFFERS AN EXCEPTIONALLY FUN USER INTERFACE. YOU CAN ALSO GET LOADS OF FREE GAMES FROM SITES. THIS IS A MUST BUY!

The phone looks good & feels nice to hold, whether browsing through features or on a call. I have not known this phone to get hot once in the 6 months I've had it so I would say it's not a problem. The touch sensitivity is just right, a light pressure being needed to press keys etc. Means that you're not always accidentally pressing the wrong ones because your finger merely brushed them. The sound quality is excellent for music & radio with or without headphones. The only criticism I can level at this phone is that the 5MP camera LG rave about the phone having, has no flash. This really makes it pointless if you take most of your photos on nights out etc. Other than that, it's a solid, user friendly phone that looks great.

I have had this phone for about 3 weeks now, & have just started to experience the fault. It is supposed to be touch phone you have to practically put your finger through it before it works, the other problem is the overheating. If you are on the phone for more than 5 minutes the front & back get so hot you have to end the call. I would not recommend this phone to anyone.
