This handset has a rather unique design feature which is a transparent slide out touch sensitive keypad which is truly amazing to use & makes this handset stand out for its style status & for all the right reasons, it truly has a unique design. The LG GD900 Crystal has a highly polished casing which comes in a stunning silver colour & gives an elegant overall appearance. LG has designed this beautiful slide opening 3G touch screen phone which comes with a large three Inch touch screen which can be viewed when the user has their handset in either its slide open or slide closed position. This screen has a stunning touch screen display which has a high screen resolution & displays up to a massive sixteen million colours for a great viewing experience. The screen has an auto rotate function which allows the user to view their screen in either horizontal or vertical mode depending on the integrated feature being used by the user. This phone has a smooth slide out section which is a translucent keypad complete with an illuminated keypad & this lower slide out section of the handset also supports touch sensitive controls. The user can enjoy using a handwriting recognition feature whilst using the slide out keypad with touch controls to create their handwriting, whilst the users input will be displayed & viewable on the main three Inch touch screen. The LG GD900 Crystal comes with an S class user interface which is a stunning user friendly 3D interface which allows the user view colourful icons & gain quick access to all the phones built in features on this S class interface. The LG GD900 Crystal is a fashion conscious handset which comes with many capabilities such as 3G technology & touch screen controls, so therefore it is difficult to tie this handset down to a specific style or to pin point its main feature, but it is foremost a fashionable touch screen handset which comes from the same family as other LG fashionable handset including the LG KM900 Arena & the LG KC910 Renoir. This phone supports extendable memory in the form of insertable memory cards which are MicroSD™ type memory cards & the user can insert a memory card to the correct memory size to suit the user's memory requirements. The user can view documents in popular file formats including Word documents, Excel files, PowerPoint format & PDF files.

The user of the LG GD900 Crystal can enjoy an email service on their new handset which allows the user to create, send, store & receive emails easily on their handset. An email is easy to create using the phones touch screen controls, the translucent slide out keypad & the handwriting recognition feature to create an email quickly. An instant messaging feature allows the user to communicate with compatible friends & family that are currently online which allows the user to communicate using text, icons & symbols to communicate instantly. The built in Wi-Fi® technology allows the user to connect their 3G phone to the Internet via a wireless LAN or a close by hotspot connection point, which gives the user the freedom to gain Internet access whenever the user feels necessary. The GD900 Crystal supports EDGE & GPRS technology which provides high speed transfer rates when the user is transferring files between two compatible devices. This phone's 3G capabilities allow the user to enjoy high speed connectivity & Internet access on their new fashionable handset. A USB connection point & the built in Bluetooth® wireless technology provides the user with two options for the user to connect their handset to other devices to transfer data, print files or to simply remove files to make more storage available. It works over a quad band GSM network & covers a 3G HSDPA 2100 network which allows the user to enjoy using their GD900 crystal worldwide.

I love using the LG Crystal for me it has all the things that I want from a phone with the added bonus of the aesthetics of it. I have never had a problem with it, & with an 8 MB camera it takes great photos. The cube layouts on the screen help so much when it comes to wanting to get to applications quick & easily, (also the fact you can move the applications on the screen so that you have the ones you use the most readily available).

I would always recommend this phone to anyone thinking of buying a good touch screen phone that has a good camera, music player & many other very useful features.

This phone looks good & sounds good but it doesn't work! I got mine in September & have been completely disappointed. It turns itself off at random. It freezes. It can't cope with the basics of making & receiving a call. Accessing contacts can be a nightmare, texting must be done 2 handed, as the touch screen is either over sensitive, or not sensitive at all. The predictive text option completely ignores your choice, the Internet browser has to be read with a magnifying glass. The camera takes ages to take a picture, & despite the 8MP, most photos are blurred or grainy. It's too unreliable, I've missed important work calls & alarms, because it's decided to switch itself off. The battery goes from full bar to dead in the space of half hour, so no time to get to a charger. & finally the battery cover on the back now keeps falling off. I've just shelved it & reverted back to my trusty old Sony Ericsson.

I saw this phone & the moment I laid eyes on it I fell in love with it. But now after reading so many reviews about it crashing & blanking out. I am starting to think otherwise. I am now worried cause I thought this was the phone for me. & now I don't know whether it is worth the price.

I have had this phone now for a few months & am extremely disappointed with it. A huge list of errors, including blank screen for incoming & outgoing call, browser crashing & turning off the phone. The camera is great, the phone looks brilliant & keypad is great, but it is all no good if you can't make or receive a call.

LG has come up with LG GD900 the latter stands out for its 8 Mega pixels Camera & especially its transparent sliding keyboard which it derives its name for. Crystal enjoys the latest technology in mobile telephony, but not necessarily exploited optimally. The phone's design plays on transparency, with gray shades & finally pure black colour which derives it to a very simple product. The finishes are more than correct, with small buttons & mechanisms of aluminium, enhancing the look a bit classy & solid.

The sliding keyboard leaves no signs of disrespect & which is very pleasing to the opening & closing. When opening, it glows gently revealing the laser etched keys.

I almost ordered this phone over the Samsung Jet & Samsung Tocco Lite, but I am still wondering if I should have gone for the LG Crystal.

I had a good look at the Crystal & loved the look, feel, features & design but the only tiny downfall for me personally was a slide out keypad, although the transparent keypad is very sleek looking, I generally don't get on well with slide out or flip open phones, so hence I went for the Samsung Jet.

Like I said I am still thinking I may have missed out by not getting this phone just because of the slide out keypad. I may get it & use it & my Jet, well it's important to have nice things around you in life.

Got this phone a few weeks ago & it is the best ever. Got a fab deal from this site & was worried firstly as I had not seen the phone just lots of pictures of it. I had the ruler out at work to see if it would be a good size for my small hands & I went ahead to order it. The best decision I ever made, a perfect phone for me. So love the crystal, well plastic keypad & the interface is amazing. I am not sure if all the new LG's are like this but always had Nokia, Moto then turned to Sony Ericsson for ages but now I will stick with LG & with this phone for as long as possible.

In the style status this phone has gone down well, but so many of my friends & family like it so much, that it may be very popular in the next few months.

Beautiful phone for beautiful people.
