Overview
The LG GD880 Mini is a sophisticated 3G touch screen phone which comes complete with many features allowing the user to stay in contact with friends at all times. This outstanding looking touch screen phone comes with a wide variety of features to suit its users mobile needs, which include a social network compatible Internet browser, digital camera, music player, radio with RDS feature & of course a wide selection of call & messaging services. The LG GD880 Mini is a member of the LG GD range which includes the popular LG GD510 Pop phone which is another touch screen phone from this stylish range.

Appearance & Size
Its casing is both attractive & user friendly in design as it has a solid bar shaped form & a sleek bodied casing. The casing is simplistic in design comes with sharp but neatly formed edges which gives this phone a truly elegant & sophisticated style. The LG GD880 Mini comes with a mostly black coloured casing complete with brushed sliver accents around the edges & top of the handset. Its 3.2 inch touch screen dominated the front section of the handset which provides the user with an excellent viewing display as well as touch activated controls. This touch screen displays up to two hundred & sixty two thousand colours on a TFT screen & has a high screen resolution of four hundred & eighty pixels by eight hundred & fifty four pixels display. The user can access their phones features using simple touch screen controls & enjoy the freedom from keys. When input numeric or alphabetic input the user can use the onscreen keypad to input text on their touch screen complete with well spaced out touch screen keys for ease of use.


Imaging, Media & Entertainment
The GD880 Mini has a rear facing camera lens which has a five megapixel lens. This digital camera feature allows the user of the GD880 Mini to capture still photos & record videos on the move. There are a selection of photo & video settings which allow the user to capture their photos & videos with a high quality finish. The five megapixel camera has a built in automatic focus feature which will automatically provide the user with a well focused shot each time the capture key is pressed. The capture key is located on the right hand edge of the casing which means the user can turn their phone to its horizontal position when capturing a photo or recording a video, allowing the user to press the capture & hold their phone as if it was a standard digital camera. There is a built in FM radio which comes with a radio data system function which means the user can view onscreen data which is relevant to the station the user has tuned into, for a visual, as well as listening experience. If it is music the user desires on their LG GD880 Mini then the integrated music player will be a much appreciated feature as it supports high quality sound & the user can transfer their music easily using the phones connectivity options available. The music player supports sound in MP3 & WMA format to name a few, & the user can enjoy easy to use touch screen music controls. There is a built in speaker which allows the user to hear their contacts out loud for a hands free call which is a useful feature when the user wishes to chat whilst continuing doing other tasks & jobs. The GD880 Mini has a phone book which holds up to one thousand contacts which are fully editable, which means the users contacts can be easily updated for the latest contacts numbers to always be available on this handset. A photocall call feature allows the user to view a photo or picture when their contact calls for a fun visually feature. There is an email service which allows the user to send, store, forward & receive emails on their phone. The user can create a text message which contains alphabetic & numeric input & this style of message can be shared between compatible SMS contacts. A multimedia message can be shared between compatible MMS contacts & allows the user to share photos or video recording with sound & text with others.

This touch screen phone supports WiFi® technology which allows the user to gain a connection to the Internet by gaining a WLAN WiFi® connection to a nearby hotspot or wireless LAN. The LG GD880 Mini comes with A GPS support providing the user with a location based navigation function. The GD880 Mini can be connected to other compatible devices using a USB cabled connection or a Bluetooth® wireless connection. When transferring data between two connected devices the user can enjoy high speed transfer rates thanks to the handsets EGDE & GPRS support. The GD880 Mini is a 3G HSDPA mobile phone which provides high speed connectivity on this stylish handset. It comes with an expandable memory card slot which can hold up to sixteen gigabytes of external memory plus it has one hundred megabytes of internal memory for contact, message, music, ringtone & data storage.
