Our HTC Touch Viva Review

The HTC Touch Viva is a touch screen Smartphone which comes in a sleek looking grey coloured casing with curvaceous edges & a smooth finished casing. The front of the handset comes with a stunning touch screen which measures 2.8 Inches when measured diagonally. This touch screen displays up to 65k colours on a high resolution screen which supports up to 240 pixels by 320 pixels. The touch screen supports a handwriting recognition feature which allows the user to write letters onscreen using their finger & this feature will automatically recognise the letter being written. The HTC Touch Viva has a well positioned square shaped navigation key which is located below the touch screen & next to the navigation key the user will find the call keys. This handset supports a TouchFLO™ 3D control which allows the user to enjoy smooth 3D controls on their touch screen. The Touch Viva supports a Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional® operating system & comes with two hundred & fifty six megabytes of ROM memory as well as one hundred & twenty eight megabytes of RAM memory. It supports MicroSD™ type memory cards & the user can add a memory card to suit their storage needs. Its casing is 110 grams in weight & measures 59mm wide by 104.5mm tall by 15.8mm deep which feels good to hold in the users hand when in use.

The user can enjoy a mobile music experience using the integrated music player which supports popular music formats & comes with easy to use music transfer features & music playback features. The user can enjoy high quality sound & a music playing feature with them wherever they go, as the HTC Touch Viva can entertain its user on the move. The Touch Viva comes with a two megapixel digital camera which has a lens for this built in camera feature situated on the back of the handset. It comes with an automatic focus which means the user will be able to capture a well focused photo on the HTC Touch Viva. This Smartphone supports video recording which allows the user to capture moving footage & the user can record video in popular formats which can shared with other contacts or just stored on the handset for a future viewing experience. A built in microphone allows the user to make voice & sound recordings on their handset.

This Smartphone can be used worldwide as it works over a quad band GSM network & the handset will automatically switch between network bands. The overall network coverage is fully dependant on the user's service operator, so therefore the network coverage may vary from handset to handset dependant on the users chosen operator. A battery provided with the HTC Touch Viva is a rechargeable battery which the user can recharge via the power adapter. When fully charged the battery can provide up to eight hours of talk time or up to two hundred & seventy hours of standby battery time. The Touch Viva supports Wi-Fi® technology which means the user can connect their handset wirelessly to a nearby positioned hotspot to gain an Internet connection or enjoy connecting the Touch Viva wirelessly to a local WLAN. It's built in GPRS & EDGE technologies allow the user to experience high speed data transfer rates when using their Smartphone to transfer files between compatible devices. This curvaceous Smartphone supports easy to connectivity options which allows its user to connect to other devices using the best connection available whether it be a Bluetooth® wireless connection or a USB cabled connection between the handset & other devices.

The user can communicate with others by making a call or by creating a sending a message. The HTC Touch Viva supports a variety of messaging services which include an instant messaging service which works like an instant messaging service on the user's personal computer but this service is fully mobile & still allows the user to communicate with others that are online at the same time as the user. A built in email service allows the user to create, edit, receive & store emails on their Touch Viva, which means the user can communicate with all their email address contacts easily when the user is on the move. The user may prefer to create & share a quick text message with their contact which is known as a SMS message & can contain text with symbols. If the user wishes to share a photo, picture or video clip with their contact the user can create & send a MMS message which is also known as a multimedia message, this message can be shared between compatible MMS contacts & provides a quick method of photo sharing for the user to enjoy. This handset supports a document viewing capability which allows the user to view documents in popular formats including Microsoft® formats. An integrated Web browser allows the user to experience HTML browsing on their Touch Viva & the user can use the large touch screen to view, search & browse on this stylish Smartphone.
