The HTC Touch Diamond 2 is a stunning & sophisticated 3G Smartphone which comes with a beautiful touch screen & many user friendly Smartphone features to suit both business & personal users alike. The casing of the Touch Diamond 2 is compact as the front section of the casing is filled with the large touch screen which works as a beautifully clear viewing feature as well as an easy to use input feature allowing the user to make on screen menu & feature selections. It is only 13.7mm deep by 107.9mm tall by 53.1mm wide which will fit in the users palm providing the user with an easy to hold touch screen handset. The HTC Touch Diamond 2 weighs 117.5 grams including the fitted rechargeable battery & gives the handset a solid weight without it weighing the user down when being carried. The touch screen is a WVGA LCD screen which is 3.2 Inches in size when measured from corner to corner & has a beautifully clear screen resolution of 480 pixels by 800 pixels & displays up to 65 thousand colours for the user to enjoy when viewing wallpapers, images, pictures & videos. This touch screen Smartphone supports a TouchFLO™ 3D control feature which allows the user to enjoy an easy flowing 3D touch screen navigation experience. The HTC Touch Diamond 2 supports a handwriting recognition feature which will turn the user's handwritten text into the relevant text which allows the user to use handwriting to create messages on their handset. This 3G Smartphone comes with a Qualcomm® processor & supports a Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional® operating system. The HTC Touch Diamond 2 is from the same range as the HTC Touch Diamond which is another 3G Smartphone complete with a touch screen display.

This 3G Smartphone comes with a fitted rechargeable battery which when fully charged can provide the user of this stunning Smartphone with up to 5.6 hours of GSM talk time or up to 5 hours of 3G HSDPA talk time depending on other features being used. The user can enjoy approximately 500 hours of 3G standby time or approximately 360 hours of GSM standby time from a fully charged handset. A fully charged battery can provide up to two & a half hours of 3G video calling time for the user to enjoy whilst taking part in a face to face video call. The HTC Touch Diamond 2 supports Wi-Fi® technology which allows the user of this handset to connect their phone to the Internet wirelessly via a close by wireless LAN or nearby Hotspot connection which is useful as the user doesn't need to use cables to connect to the Internet whether the user be situated at home, in the office or out & about. A built in AGPS navigation function allows the user to find out where they are positioned as well as finding out the exact location of nearby restaurants, bars & much more on their HTC Touch Diamond 2. The Touch Diamond 2 is a 3G HSDPA capable Smartphone which with its built in 3G technology allows the user to enjoy fast connectivity & features such as 3G video calling on this handset. The EDGE technology allows the user to gain fast speed data transfers rates when transferring data between the HTC Touch Diamond 2 & other compatible devices. The user can use either a Bluetooth® wireless connection or a USB cabled connection between the Touch Diamond 2 & other devices when transferring data files such as music, pictures & videos between the two devices. Design, looks, touch, feel. All are good but the minor functions are still not as good as Nokia.

I use a third party stock price quotation software. When I pop up the keyboard, the keyboard covers the lower part of the screen. Compare to Nokia5800X which run the same software, the software is automatically lands on the top part of the keyboard.

I have program more than 6 radio stations into the Touch D2. It becomes a trouble when you want to switch to station 7 as there are only 6 stations button appears on the screen.

I have to press a lot of keys in order to reach my station 7.

Other than these minor problems, that bug me. In general it is a good phone in comparing to Nokia 5800X.

Having this baby for 3 months now can't say nothing bad, except one thing, battery!

All the other functionality is superb as you expect from top range device. With some tweaks can manage the battery last 1 & a half day, but hope so that HTC will soon release ROM update to fix battery performance.
