Our HTC Touch Cruise 09 Review

The Touch Cruise 09 is a glamorous looking touch screen handset which has been designed by HTC & includes a large selection of features which are easily operated using simple touch screen controls. This 3G Smartphone has a large touch screen which measures 2.8 Inches when measured diagonally & this screen has a high resolution coloured display. The user can enjoy smooth touch screen controls & this stylish Smartphone supports HTC TouchFLO™ or the user can use a navigation wheel to control their onscreen selections. This navigation wheel is situated neatly below the touch screen & the user will find other easy to reach keys such as call keys & a footprint control key. The HTC Touch Cruise 09 comes with a Qualcomm® processor which supports a Windows Mobile® professional 6.1 operating system. It weighs one hundred & three grams only & measures 14.5mm deep by 53.5mm wide by 102mm which gives the handset a high quality feel as well as being compact enough for the user to carry as well as operate with ease. It comes with 256 megabytes of RAM memory & 512 megabytes of ROM memory as well as supporting swappable memory cards which allows the user of the Touch Cruise 09 to expand their Smartphone's memory capabilities to suit their needs. The user can insert a MicroSD™ type memory card in the memory size so hold all their files & data. The Touch Cruise 09 is from the same HTC range as the HTC Touch Diamond 2 & the HTC Touch Pro 2 which are all 3G Smartphones.

This handset has a built in music playing feature which allows the user to enjoy mobile music entertainment in many music playing formats. The HTC Touch Cruise 09 supports a large range of music formats which include MP3, WMA, MIDI, WAV, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, AMR, QCP & AWB as well as supporting polyphonic format or MP3 format ringing tones. An integrated digital camera is a 3.2 megapixel camera feature which supports high quality image capture for the user to enjoy whilst on the move as this camera feature is ready & waiting to be used at any time of the day or night. A built in fixed focus allows the user to capture still images with a clear focus being gained each time this camera feature is used. The camera feature supports video recording capabilities which means the user can capture & store their memories as lively moving footage. The HTC Touch Cruise 09 supports a picture geo tagging feature & the user can take a picture then use the HTC footprints feature which will automatically save the users location. A footprints feature allows the user to link locations to pictures in a fun & easy way whilst creating a diary of the user's memories. The user may wish to record sound which is relevant to this locate & even text notes to enhance their memories further. The user can store their pictures or videos on their handsets memory & the user can share these pictures or videos with other contacts using the handset messaging services if desired. This HTC Touch Cruise 09 supports video playback capabilities which allow the user to enjoy playing video in many formats including WMV, ASF, MP4, 3GP, AVI, 3G2 & M4V.


This 3G Smartphone supports a variety of messaging & communication services which allow the user to communicate with other compatible messaging contacts using the best service to suit the user's communication needs. A SMS message allows the user to share text in a message when communicate with compatible contacts whereas a MMS message can contain text & sound with either a picture or video recording which provides a lively messaging service. The Touch Cruise 09 supports an email service allowing the user to create, send, receive & store emails from compatible contacts. If the user wishes to enjoy a fun messaging service on their handset they can enjoy an instant messaging service which works like an online chat with compatible instant messaging contacts that are online at the same time as the user. This Touch Cruise 09 Smartphone allows the user to access the Web via the integrated HTML Web browser & the user can enjoy a full screen Web experience on the 2.8 Inch touch screen. If the user fully charges their battery then it will provide up to 6.6 hours of GSM talk time or up to 6.2 hours of 3G talk time for the user to enjoy mobile communication during their day. This battery provides approximately 330 hours of GSM standby time when fully charged.

This handset comes with a built in GPS navigation feature which supports Google Maps™. Its navigation software allows the user to enjoy features which include step by step instructions to the user's destination, traffic jams updates & the user can locate services whilst travelling. The HTC Touch Cruise 09 is a 3G capable handset & its 3G technology allows the user of this Smartphone to enjoy fast connectivity. If the user wishes to connect their handset to other device then the user can use either the Bluetooth® wireless connectivity option or the mini USB cabled connection option when connecting to others devices, depending on which connectivity option best suits the user's needs. The user can enjoy a cable free connect to the Internet as this handset supports Wi-Fi® technology which means the user can gain an Internet connection via a nearby WLAN or hotspot to connect to the Internet. The Touch Cruise 09 supports EDGE & GPRS technology which provides the user with high speed data transfer rates which can be enjoyed when transferring files between devices. This handset works over a quad band GSM network & a 3G HSDPA network which allows the user to enjoy roaming worldwide with their Smartphone.
