Got this phone after comparing it online with the Samsung Galaxy Ace. Actually went to the store having both in mind. But when I saw the 2. The wildfire clearly look far more up market & I am also not a fan of pretty big phones which the Galaxy Ace is. Unless the Big phone you got is an iPhone or a galaxy S2. Any ways. Coming back to the wildfire. It's got the latest version of Android I.e. 2.3.3 Gingerbread with the HTC Sense interface. & I was Pretty much at ease within minutes of using the phone. & it looks Great in the hand to. I personally like the size. It's not as small as it looks to be on the online reviews ! Must say. I wasn't too Impressed with the Earphones. They sound quite cheap with the sound. But do the job when handling calls. But then, , I use my sennheisser's for music. So no problems for me. Another issue I would like to point out is the battery life. Must say. I am not that a Heavy user of mobile phones. But when the phone is new. You tend to use it a lot. So the battery drains quite fast. As I am online the whole day. Also some people may not like another feature. I.e. All the messages, like the inbox, sent or the drafts are saved as a conversation for every contact. Which I wasn't a fan of at first. But then. Found it greatly simple as the days went. Summing it up. You get all the features of the much costlier Smartphone's at half the price. So the compromises you make for the processor & the battery are worth it. Especially if you are not a very heavy user like me. I am very happy with it & don't see myself replacing it quite so soon. I would like to give it 4.5 stars. Although got to see if there's an option for the same. ! I love this phone. Chose it blindly over the competitors in its range!

This is a great budget android phone with superb usability. I switched from a Motorola Milestone due to performance issues & apps crashing. Although the spec sheet isn't as good with the Wildfire S, it performs far better. The HTC Sense UI is very good & despite the basic processor there's little or no noticeable lag when using the interface & loading apps. The 3.2' screen size is just about usable for most stuff & the rubber back & curved shape fits well in the hand. Battery life is average, usually requires recharging once a day. Camera is about average & you have to be still to get a sharp shot.

It's not perfect but for about £130 it's a steal!
