The worst phone I have ever had & I have had a lot of Sony Ericsson's before. The phone has 4 bars of battery & if you let it get half way the Internet freezes & battery has to be taken out of phone & re turned on. The phone gets very hot very quickly, windows mobile is rubbish, such a lack of apps & flash support, really with I got an iPhone I only got this as I wanted something different. My old colleague use to work for HTC & says some of them have been coming back after the charging plug has melted. It's a shame because it's such a solid phone, well put together & the screen is far better than any I have seen on a mobile. I am with Vodafone & always have 3G on my other phone but with this one I have had it 4 months & have only seen 3G 3 times. It's now broke on me due to software issues, I am not going to bother claiming on the insurance as they will only send me another one. Now I have a 24 month contract, Cheers HTC.

Great phone & excellent Smartphone. Very fast & responsive & as good as, if not better, than the iPhone. Fast processor & lighting fast loading of Apps (either when other Apps are still running, unlike the iPhone).
The main drawback is lack of Flash support but this seems to be a problem between Windows Mobile 6.5 & Adobe (not the right type of API's being supported). This is supposed to be sorted out for Windows Mobile 7. We wait to see & fingers crossed.
Overall a much better phone than the iPhone. The iPhone 4 is overpriced, under supported & still lacks power.
If you're wondering which one to go for, pick the HTC HD2. You won't be disappointed.

Up to now I have had Sony Ericsson phones but this is by far the best phone I have ever had. Fun to use & easy to understand. The screen is quite big but because the phone is thin it can easily fit in my pocket. The only thing I am stuck with is downloading my CD's onto the phone. Also the keyboard when sending texts can be a bit fiddly. Great phone & am loving it. Will definitely not be going back to my old one.

Please buy & get the mobile & then post your comments. I used my friends HTC HD2 for a few days & the result is that I am in love with it. The only minus is the price which is higher than the iconic iPhone. Though a HUGE screen which looks good in large hands is great. Very recommended for browsing, mailing, calling &music. Battery was OK. But now there is news of an extra battery pack that pushes the times a little further.

I do not own this mobile yet, though I want to. I heard so many things about it & I felt like getting it, but then one of my mates got it. He had it for a while but sent it back. He said text messaging can be a bit of a problem, he sent a text that didn't go through, than another one & another one, eventually he switched the phone of & sent one more text, this time it went as did all the previous ones he tried to send. He informed himself on the net & apparently it happens a lot with this phone. Does it have to do with the network or is it the phone, did anyone else experienced anything like this with their mobile? I'd appreciate some feedback as I really want this phone, but need to know if it's worth getting. Thanks.

Just to update my previous review. Battery life with low use, I estimate about 3 to 4 days max. Where I work has no signal & I think this drains the battery quicker. I have had no problems with the phone. I have read about various software problems but have had no problems myself. Only problem is no divx out of the box.

What an absolutely amazing phone! This phone is BIG, much bigger than anything I have ever owned before, but it is also very thin so you hardly notice it in your pocket, it just feels like a normal wallet. The screen is simply out of this world, the weather application has to be seen to be believed. The phone has every feature you could possibly imagine, nothing has been left out. These days the ability to make phone calls is nothing more than an afterthought & this phone is no different. It is not a phone, it is a super computer that also happens to make calls. If you're thinking of an iPhone, DON'T be another one of apples sheep! This phone wipes the floor with the iPhone, BUY IT!

I have had the HD2 for nearly 2 weeks now. It is very well designed. The screen is very clear, the screen on my Dell Axim now looks tiny in comparison. It is however not too big to fit in my pocket.
The wallet supplied is poor, the phone hardly fits in it so I am using the one from my PDA. The battery life quoted on the HTC web page is somewhat optimistic. I recon on about 90hrs on standby is more realistic (HTC quote 490 hours? ) but this is still better than the iPhone, my friend has to charge his up during the day or it dies. Playing videos seriously depletes the battery I think 2 to 3 hours is more realistic. I think it will be worth investing in a larger capacity battery
I was disappointed that media player does not play divx or xvid out of the box so I had to download coreplayer (that is why I give it 90% for features).
Email was very easy to setup & overall the features than have used so far have been very easy to learn.
Overall an excellent phone.

I have the HD2 only 5 days & I am so impressed by it. The 4.3 inch screen is a good shape & beautiful, very fast 1 GHz processor, the fastest I have use in any MW, in fact any Smartphone including the silly iPhone (I never own one & never will).
People keep saying how great the iPhone is, it is because they are fool by Apple & can't see the anything than the iPhone, it is not all their fault, Apple somehow manages to fool 99% of the population, only the truly clever people & Smartphone can see the real iPhone is rubbish.
I am so glad I stand up tall against the iPhone & got this wonderful & the best WM ever made as my phone.

I have had this phone for just under a week now & I am very pleased with it, it is a very large phone, the call quality is excellent, it has a 5 mega pixel camera, & the images are very good, as it has auto focus & the dual led flash works really well. The touch screen is very responsive, & also it is multi-touch, so you can pinch to zoom. The phone is quite easy to get used to, & has loads of features, I haven't got round to using them all yet. Email is very easy to set up on this phone, & I have set my Google mail & hotmail accounts up on it, the price of this mobile is high, but in my opinion it is worth the money, would definitely recommend this phone.

Absolutely incredible phone, this is so much better than the iPhone it's untrue (I speak from experience), any Apple luddites who talk about having less apps are confusing quantity with quality.
Huge, crystal clear screen, very responsive interface, masses of options but worthwhile & accessible, lightning fast processor, super slim design. Even battery life is proving better than I thought, needing charging every couple of days or so. This the best phone I have owned, the best phone on the market IMO, better by far than the iPhone, & I can't see how the X10 will improve on it in any way other than the camera resolution, which is a non issue personally as I have a decent DSLR for when quality truly counts. Superb.
