Overview
The HTC Incredible S is an imaging & communication focused touch screen Smartphone which comes with the Android™ operating system & easy to use HTC Sense™ interface. The HTC Incredible S is similar in design & form factor to other HTC Smartphone's which include the HTC Desire S & the HTC Wildfire S, & all of these Smartphone have highly impressive integrated features. The Incredible S has a wide selection of features which include a Super LCD touch screen which is four inches in size, & an amazing 8 megapixel camera with high definition video recording, a variety of messaging services, built in music player with outstanding sound & an easy to use Web experience.

Appearance & Size
This handset has a large sized touch screen which almost fills the entire front section of the casing plus it supports responsive multi touch controls. This Smartphone measures 12cm by 6.4cm by 1.17cm & it weighs 135.5 grams. The screen measures four inches from corner to corner & has a Super LCD capacitive type display, plus the user can view up to as many as sixteen million colours on this beautiful screen. A HTC Sense™ user interface can be enjoyed on the touch screen & the Incredible S supports a customisable home screen & HTC widgets. An onscreen keypad or keyboard will be displayed on the four inch screen allowing the user to use touch screen controls to input numeric or alphabetic input. Its casing has a sophisticated appearance & comes in a stylish black colour. There are touch sensitive keys position below the touch screen which allows the user to access home, a search facility instantly, or to provide the user with a keypad or back option.

Imaging, Media & Entertainment
For high quality imaging & sound features the HTC Incredible S will not let its user down as it comes with an outstanding camera feature, high definition video recording, & SRS WOW HD™ virtual sound support for when the user is playing movies & video. Videos & movies can be played back in a variety of formats including MPEG4, WMV9, 3G2 & 3GP. There is a front facing camera feature which has a 1.3 megapixel lens allowing the user to capture self portraits or to take part in a two way 3G video call. An 8 megapixel camera lens is positioned discretely into the back of the casing, & this camera feature supports a huge selection of imaging features to ensure the user captures realistic & clear videos & photos on their HTC Incredible S. Its imaging features include an image stabiliser, dual LED flash, touch focus, automatic focus, photo & video geo tagging & colour settings. This camera lens also supports high definition quality video capturing at thirty frames per second. Music can be enjoyed for entertainment either via the radio feature with FM tuning & a radio data system support, or via the integrated music player, plus high quality sound can be enjoyed via the built in speakers.

Communication & Messaging
The HTC Incredible S comes with an email service which supports a Gmail™ account & push email, along with multiple email account support which are colour coded for easy identification between accounts. An instant messaging service is a service which allows the user of the Incredible S to share online text conversations with compatible instant messaging users. Messaging services such as SMS messaging allow the user to create messages containing text, whereas a MMS messaging can be created using text & sound with a photo or video. Social network integration allows the user to access popular social network Websites via integrated applications & the user can access these applications with one click of a button.

Technology & Internet
There is a built in HTML Web browser complete with a touch activated zoom function, providing a clear & up close view of selected Web pages. A Google™ search & YouTube™ compatibility makes surfing the Web a fun experience on the Incredible S. Wi-Fi® connectivity allows this Smartphone to connect to a hotspot or nearby wireless LAN for a cable free Internet connection. There is 1.1 gigabytes of internal memory & 768 megabytes of RAM, plus the user can extend the Smartphone's memory further by inserting a MicroSD™ memory card which is 32 gigabytes in size. Up to 9.7 hours of talk time can be enjoyed from a fully charged battery & when the handset is used over a GSM network, compared to approximately 6.4 hours of talk time of a 3G network. A step by step navigation guide provides the user with directions to their next destination with a Google™ maps display. Connecting to other devices is made easy using Bluetooth® wireless connectivity or via a micro USB connection port complete with a compatible USB cable. GPRS & EDGE technology provides high speed transfer rates when the user is transferring music, videos or photos between the Incredible S & other connected devices. This Smartphone supports 3G HSDPA & HSUPA which provides high speed network connectivity when the user requires it, plus the handset works over quad band GSM networks GSM 850, 900, 1800 & 1900.

This is a great phone with the latest features & functions which supports an upgrade to android 2.3 gingerbread. The screen is worth a mention with an amazing camera resolution.

Incredible has superb battery compared to other Smartphone's I am more familiar with.

A superb phone. The battery life is much better than other HTC Smartphone's used of late (including the Desire, Desire HD, etc). The phone size just feels right - the screen is excellent, though as usual with most phones, it doesn't handle outside sunlight well (a common fault). The on/off button on the top right is in the best place. My only other criticism is the speaker which provides poor quality - though the in-ear sound when on calls is perfectly OK. Build quality is to HTC's usual high standards. If you like Android, don't hesitate! This is an accomplished & well-designed phone. I am looking forward to its update to the latest Android OS.
