Overview
The HD7 is a HTC Smartphone which supports a Windows 7 operating system & this sleek handset has a bar form complete with a large touch screen for ease of use. There is a selection of built in multimedia features, communication features & high speed technologies crammed into this beautifully designed Smartphone. It supports an easy to control touch screen interface complete with a tile effect home screen allowing the user to access all their favourite phone functions quickly & easily. The HTC HD7 is from the same HTC range as the incredibly popular HTC HD2 which is also supports a touch screen design & Windows operating system, but the HD7 takes things to the next level as it supports Microsoft Windows Phone 7.

Appearance & Size
Its casing has a smooth & tactile finish which feels good to hold in the single hand & its overall size is useable & a fair size when considering this Smartphone supports a 4.3 inch touch screen. The HD7 weighs one hundred & sixty two grams, & it is 12.2cm tall when held in its vertical position, by 6.8cm wide by 1.12cm in depth. It has a black coloured casing & the touch screen display certainly adds colour to this handset when the phone is in use. There is an integrated kick stand which is discretely built around the camera lens on the back of the casing. This kick stand can be easily flipped open allowing the user to place their handset in its horizontal position onto a flat surface for a perfect angle viewing experience. The amazing WVGA touch screen provides a high resolution display & a truly colourful viewing experience, plus the user can enjoy a widescreen viewing experience when the handset is in its horizontal mode. The screen will automatically rotate to the user's physical movements of the handset & this screen supports a light sensor. This Smartphone comes with a Microsoft Windows Phone operating system version 7 along with a user friendly & customisable live tile home screen.

Imaging, Media & Entertainment
There is a rear facing five megapixel camera lens which supports high definition quality video recording as well as crystal clear photo capturing. This imaging feature supports an assortment of features & setting including an LED flash, scene settings, automatic focus & a HTC photo hub. The user can capture, edit, store & share their photos or videos on this touch screen Smartphone. There is a variety of photo sharing options available on the HTC HD7 which allow the user to share their photos via SkyDrive®, Facebook® or Windows Live®. The HTC HD7 works over quad band GSM networks plus 3G networks providing its user with the best network coverage for the user's individual requirements. When the handset is used over a 3G network the user can expect to experience up to 5.3 hours of talk time from a fully charged battery or when used over a GSM network the user can gain up to 6.3 hours of talk time. Access to the Internet can gained on the HD7 plus the handsets Wi-Fi® capabilities allow the user to connect their phone to a nearby Wi-Fi® hub or Wi-Fi® hotspot. The Internet provides the user with information & entertainment on the move plus the user can access popular websites such as YouTube™ on the HTC HD7. There is 512 megabytes of ROM, 576 megabytes of RAM & eight gigabytes of internal memory available for the user. The user can find out direction to new locations & view maps for guidance on their HD7 as this Smartphone supports assisted GPS with Bing™ map application. EDGE & GPRS allow the user to gain fast data transfer rates when transferring data files between the HTC HD7 & other connected devices. Windows 7 OS is totally great & HTC is my preferred phone manufacture by far.

Many of my friends were what I call 'Apple sheep', following the iPhone band wagon as they have not got time to really look into each phones or manufactures choices & capabilities, but me however have done my research on this site & other mobile phone sites & I am pleased I did.

I am a HTC enthusiast & love the design, shape & the massive amount of features on the HD7 & Windows 7 is something else, trust me, and get this Smartphone for all your mobile needs.

I have enjoyed using other HTC's like the Hero & Magic but this phone is the best of them all & well worth the money. I managed to get a great deal, see this site who advertises some great offers.
