Good quality qwerty keyboard. Easy to use. Not the best looking phone. A little confusing at first, but easy to get used to it. Good phone at a reasonable price.

This is the best phone ever. Tried the iPhone but this far better for me. Would recommend to anyone. Am upgrading to exactly same BlackBerry, just a brand new one after 3 years.

Had a BlackBerry pearl 8100 before & I thought that was a great phone, but to be honest this BlackBerry 8310 is a fantastic phone, so easy to use & text messages are so easy to do. The thing is with BlackBerry's, people think they are difficult to use but there not once you get the hang of the way the menu it's easy. Good size phone to hold when you're making or receiving calls. & when you have the leather pouch its very clever cause as the phone is put in it. The phone locks so you don't press any of the keypad. I look forward to when I get my upgrade of the Curve 8900. It's just the updated version in black plus Wi-Fi of course. Well done BlackBerry again!

I work for a mobile network provider & we have just had a road show with Blackberry & they have informed us you can download the latest software from the website which will then enable the video recording function, I haven't tried this as I do not own a Curve.

I brought a limited edition Red Blackberry Curve 8310 & I Love it.

It doesn't have good games & no video recorder, but I am not a picky person.

It's a very good business phone & good for anyone who wants to be noticed if your very picky don't choose it.

Just got the Curve! Brilliant phone, if only a little complex to set up. All the features you could ever want. Can anyone help though I can't get Hotmail to work?

Just got this phone today & really like it.

I gave it 95 per cent for features as its a shame there is no video record otherwise would have been 100 per cent.

I went on Blackberry website to look at the online manual as manual that come in the box is very basic as already stated.

If you press & hold mute button at the top the phone goes into standby mode, it locks it, so you can't press any buttons by mistake whilst in your pocket, very handy.

I call it a phone but it's much more than that.

First got the phone, thought what? , you really have to hit the forums for advanced instructions, as I found the instructions basic & useless.

Pros, Email, hotmail works, cameras not bad, sounds great, qwerty keyboard, trackball can use one handed, sat nav, using nav4all, basic but works, change themes.

cons, I am on t mobile though email works great, the web & walk software is rubbish as its using GPRS its really slow & takes ages to load pages, Bluetooth between mine & a PC, doesn't work, though that might be a driver issue. No video recording on the camera.

Overall really like the phone, does everything, it just takes a while to setup.

Despite the phone being new it lacks features like video recorder, screen savers, java games. The email feature is worth using & the camera is pathetic. In a nut shell, it gives a feel of having a new phone in your pocket with very few features.

THIS DOES NOT HAVE VIDEO RECORD FACILITIES which your review says it does, having said that it is a great phone. The email functionality is great. Looks good. Even switches off when you put it away in its custom made leather pouch (magnetic strip).

Well worth having in your pocket!

The Curve was a replacement for my old V3i. I wanted proper push email access & this has fitted the bill perfectly, works like a treat & for email addresses. It seems very well made with a good screen & plastic that doesn't seem to scratch easily. My initial concern with the tiny keyboard has gone, you will soon get used to it (& I have large fingers!) although the option keys are very odd. My only real gripe is the lack of Auto Key lock which is a bore but apparently there are third party java applications that can fix that. The call clarity is excellent & speakerphone can go nice & loud. All in all a very nicely thought out Smart phone.
